I came across this book and just had to read it being a survivor of childhood abuse and trauma myself. Kudos to the author for telling her story. Survivors should never remain silent. It helps to allow others to know they are not alone. Great book!

Amazing story

It was a good story both sad and humorous. It had great depth and well written. It was a very interesting story.

A well written, blazingly honest account of Georgianne's life from fives years old to present. Most of us cannot comprehend the abuse that happens, physical and mental in some families. My heart broke for the little nine year old Georgianne that was abused by her step-father, then used by her mother to keep adult secrets.
