Bloody hell! What a roller-coaster!

With the Boystown series Jake Biondi has created something that is difficult to classify by its genre. I would even say, he has created a new genre, and - like every genre that has already existed on the book market - it would have its admires and critics. Well, he convinced me.

For those who has no idea what I'm talking about, I would recommend to read the information providing on the author's profile. It helps better to understand the
Original Post: eARC Series Review: Boystown Seasons 1 & 2 by Jake Biondi

I must confess, I just love reading something written unusual for me. These books are presented much like a script would be, but technically, it is not a script. With that style in mind, think: HBO TV Series. There is sex, violence, nudity, erotica, infidelity, crime, passion, blood, drama, angst, thrill, mystery, more erotica and more complications that sets the TV ratings skyrocketing. Yes, these are books but they are

Everyone knows how much I was looking forward to getting my hands on this book and Jake Biondi did not disappoint!! Did he leave me hanging once again? Well crapola, YES!!! I loved this book. Jake manages to pick right up where season 1 left off. Jakes ability to weeve these intricate episodes of characters that we have come to love is amazing. In this brilliant season as a reader you will be on the edge of your seats and have so many "REALLY???" moments you won't be able to put the book down ...more

OMG - Jake Biondi has picked up from where he left off in Season One, and this book is also another one that you will not be able to put down. From the first page I was hooked, and I kept reading until I finished it..... or at least I thought I had finished, but there is a Season Three, so yet another cliffhanger, and this one is even better than the first one - no spoilers, sorry.

You have some additional characters of Gino and Marco, and their father, but you soon find out who is good and who

WOW!! Where do I start on this second season...This would be a great soap opera or mini-series on TV. This story is full of Hot, Hot, Hot Sex that the book literally smokes & sizzles on the page!! It's like a modern day "Peyton Place", "Sopranos", "Queer as Folk", and a modern day "Hatfields & McCoys" all rolled up in one. The drama, suspense, deception, backstabbing and lies intertwines between the love and did I say "Hot, Hot Sex"... This is a continuing story of a group of friends and ...more

Let me start off by saying : I absolutely loved this book . I read this in one sitting I couldn't put this book down, from page 1 which starts off right where Book one left off .
Jake is an amazing Author his writing style is very different from most Authors I have read, saying that in a very good way , his style is very fast paced and he writes with Episode rather than Chapters.
Each Episode is fast paced but cleverly written to blend Into the next segment.
In this book we visit all out fav

As with most ensemble stories, there are some plot lines and characters that will be favorites. I particularly enjoyed the addition of twins Marco and Gino. Their introductory scene is hot and we get a glimpse of their close relationship. I was also a fan of Gino’s connection with Justin. I certainly could have used more time spent with them and will be looking forward to more scenes with all of them in future episodes.

On the flip side, with so many characters,

Holy Boystown has done it again!

I am not sure where the hell my review went but here we go again.

Boystown season two picks up right where season one left off and holy mother lover it starts off with a bang. There is so much going on between the characters and there is an introduction of new characters and some are good and some are bad.

What would this story be like without the relationship drama and man oh man what a bomb shell happens when a couple ends up together that no one expects and they

Wow.... This cleared up the ending of the first book perfectly and then added more problems for the families of Boystown, and had yet another explosive ending making you want more. Again 4 starts simply because i'm still struggling with the writing style but overall it really is a great series so far x

I found the writing style (and the sex scenes in particular) a bit mechanical but the premise, the story lines, the characters are all brilliant and I can't wait to read more.

Just as good as book one with a cliff hanger ending.

Still hooked

After the way book 1 ended i couldn't wait to dive into this one. Derek is one of my favorite characters, even though he comes off as a selfish prick. I'm still not sure a broken up couple should be broken up as there seems to be something still there. My feelings on a certain character are conflicted, he comes off as immature & arrogant, then again he is young so we'll see.
Of course this ended on one he'll of a cliffhAnger......jumping into book 3.
This seriously need to be on

Hold the phone. Did someone just come back from the dead? Ah, yet another soap opera cliffhanger and question left unanswered in Jake Biondi’s Boystown: Season Two.

There’s a bit of a second-verse-same-as-the-first feel to this installment of the series, in that much of the same relationship drama is carried over from Season One, with only minimal resolution to those storylines in Season Two, which can only mean that Season Three will either start wrapping things up or will fall into an

The gang is back in the second installment of the BOYSTOWN saga. In this, everyone’s life is altered. Relationships are dissolved to form new ones , plans of revenge are formed, secrets are unraveling and lies are well on their way to being revealed. Yes, on this episode of The Young and the Messy, no lines are beyond crossing. In this, Emmett and Max have finally made the move to go forward with their relationship and take it to the next level…out in the open now.

Wow, I cannot believe I got on this crazy train for a second ride. But I did it. Like a train wreck, I simply could not look away. After the cliffhanger ending from Season One, I just had to know how things were going to play out.

This installment reads very much like the first in that soap opera sort of way. It took a little getting used to again, but, as with the first, once you get going, it is pretty easy to follow. There are a ton of characters to keep track

Upon starting to read the book, notice two things right from the get get go. If you notice , each book is not Book One and Book Two, but rather Season One and Season Two. There are no Chapters in these books but rather Episodes.

As I read, I always have the television on and I know all the lingo they use. So I decided, as I read this book, to see it as a soap opera. So, as far as I am concerned I wasn't reading books, but screenplays with direction written. I have never read books in this style.

5 fantastic stars!

Jake has done it again. This book is even better than the first one. The plot continues to thicken and I loved every bit of it. New characters were introduced and we also have new villains. Intrigues, manipulation, revenge plots, cheating, violence, this book has it all.

For whatever reason my favorite couple is Derek and Cole which means that I must be wired wrong. As the plot advances we see new lights of Jesse (possessive little shithead), Derek (might be his daddy's son

Jake Biondi did not disappoint! Wow! There were so many stories going on, but they all worked together like a song and dance. I want to be mad at several different people in this, but my anger is mainly at Jesse! What he is doing to his mother, Ben and Logan is just wrong on so many levels! I want to strangle him myself! Logan has been through enough hurt and doesn't need this. I really like Michael and Keith together and hope they stay together. Still not sure about Emmett and Max. I'm pissed ...more

BOYSTOWN just keeps getting better!!

You must read Season One before starting Season Two as Season Two picks up right where Season One ends.

I jumped straight from Season One to Season Two and could not put it down. This series is a fast-paced page-tunerfull of action, drama, and HOT sex. The author is extremely talented and his knack for detail is amazing! His writing style is different than other authors that I’ve read, which is something I really love about this series.

Highly recommend this

Season Two

I was reading the book while on my way home from doing errands. I read the final sentence and I was thinking what happened. I realized I finished the book. I want more. Onto season three.

I haven’t read a gay series that kept me intrigued for a long time. Happy I came across Biondi’s series. I liked that he included POC characters in his series. Intersectionality matters.

"The man I used to fuck is married to my mother and you want me to be calm?"

Picking up where the last book season left off with a cliff hanger, the dramarama continues, thickens and evolves!

Leave your logic and seriousness by the door, and just enjoy. My head is kinda spinning from everything that's going on, and that ending!

Still utterly ridiculous. Still utterly enjoyable!
