You can't read Falling for Rayne and not want to read Ivy's story next.

I liked Ivy in the first book and I loved her even more in this one. It was great reading her story. Ivy has gone through some trials, but she's used them to help make her a stronger person. I loved Becket, I have a thing for the strong silent type. He chooses his words with care and means what he says. I loved how he truly saw Ivy and treated her so well. Their courtship isn't smooth sailing though and they have to go

Dreaming of Ivy is absolutely AMAZING! I LOVED every minute of it! And I have to admit that it is my new favorite book in this series!

Ivy and Becket are completely perfect for each other! They have both had a hard life, they both have issues that they are dealing with but they are also the only ones who can really see the other person for WHO they are on the inside... issues and all. Becket says it best when he tells Ivy, "We don't need to be perfect. We just need to be perfect for each other."

Yes I read another Shannon Guymon book.  I am hooked on these books set in Fircrest, WA.  This is book 2 in this series but the 8th book set in this town.  I recommend starting at the beginning or you will have missed a lot of back story.  I'm not ready to be done with Fircrest so I'm hoping for another trilogy giving us at least a dozen books.  I can think of a handful of characters we have been introduced to that I want to see find their happily ever after so I hope Shannon continues to

What an emotional roller coaster ride! So many new things are stewing in this pot of yummy goodness.

As I mentioned with Falling For Rayne, just be forewarned that there are some tough issues addressed in this book. At least for me there were, but I'm naturally a bit of a sensitive spirit. It broke my heart to see the characters in pain and suffering, whether it be from physical ailments, mental road blocks, or their own selfish pride. Hopefully, everything will be resolved soon and for the best

Ivy's Story

I loved Ivy and Beckett's story though I am still in the process of forgiving Beckett myself grrrrr. I love that Ivy has overcome so much and has become so strong. This Love and Flowers Trilogy has become another favorite. Beautiful story.

Rating: 4 stars.

This book is the second in the "Love and Flowers Trilogy". Ivy was Rayne's younger sister in the first book "Falling for Rayne". In the past she had mental health issues - OCD and Anorexia. She grew up feeling trapped, isolated and insecure. Although her OCD was now under control thanks to medication and therapy, she was shy, often nervous, honest and humble. I liked her character in the first book, so I looked forward to reading her story in "Dreaming of Ivy". I was not

I loved it! I've loved this series and I love how each trilogy focuses on a family, but has ties to characters from other books/trilogies. This particular one is about two sisters and their bodyguard friend, Cleo. Ivy is the younger sister and has everything money can buy, but she's very inexperienced in love and relationships. She's had trials to overcome in life, but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and that's just what happens with Ivy. She is very strong and comfortable with who she ...more

Aww cute book!! I like this series and I love the big Samoan guys! Asher was a totally loser! I almost expected him to be the person behind everything because he was so lame.

So I just finished Dreaming of Ivy and loved it! This is my first book I have ever read in any of the Fircrest series... After reading a book by this author which a lot of people loved but I pretty much hated, I had sworn off all her books so I hadn't read any of the Fircrest books. I could tell by the writing that there was a lot of history between certain characters that I wasn't getting because I jumped in at the end, but overall I felt like it was a stand-alone book! (After reading this book ...more

I can't even express how much I loved this book! By the end of it I felt like I was a puddle of mush on the floor. I am loving this series so much! This book had my crying when I got to the last page, because I didn't want it to end! I am never one to get a lot of sleep when her books come out!

Shannon definitely knows how to put together a great book! It has it all amazing characters, great plot, dreamy romance that will honestly have you melting, and great lessons to learn from it.

The story had

Ivy Newman reminds me a lot of myself and of my niece trying to follow in my footsteps. Being the person in the family that doesnt seem to fit in with the others. That no matter what you do, someone will always thing its wrong. She already has thing in her life that she has to overcome and when she has to be brave for her sister it is almost too much to handle. I love that she had a guy to fall back on for help and to fall in love with. That is how it happened with me and my niece and I know ...more

First of all, I love the cover of the book! Its totally gorgeous and it perfectly fits the image of Ivy. Secondly, I loved Ivys character from the 1st book. So I was dying to read more about her in this book! It was worth a read and I absolutely love this book! It's clean and very realistic!Though I like reading about a perfect girl meeting a perfect guy in novels, I knew deep down there aren't real and it's not realistic. This book is different. It tells you about Ivy and Becket's insecurities ...more

I really love this series. This book was just what I've come to expect from Shannon Guymon. I'm so happy each time I get to settle in with one of her books. Characters from previous books still show up and interconnect with each other and it really feels like old friends are still around. I love that. I'm glad Ivy got her own story and a bit of happy that she deserved. Happily ever afters make me satisfied and happy. The books in this latest series have a mystery woven thoughout and I still ...more

If you want something to read that mimics a desired dream...

I stumbled on Shannon Guymon's books. I like books that I can go to bed on feeling good about life. They are sweet, engaging and create an atmosphere that I desire. They don't preach any specific faith but adapt the morals my faith respects. Glad I stumbled.

I'll write a longer review later, but suffice it to say that I love this one just as much as the first in the trilogy! I can't wait to read the next about Cleo. Another great mix of romance on every page coupled with mystery and suspense. Perhaps even more suspense than the first? Loved seeing the characters develop even more here.

I really enjoyed this story but I enjoyed the 1st in the sequel better. I wanted Beckett to prove himself more or to have a chapter from his point of view so that I would feel a little better. A likable story. I am super excited for the 3rd book. I am assuming Chloe is the main character and I am cheering for Tai and not Asher. Please not Asher!

Still a little stiff in the writing, and I wish the author would take an extra week or so to edit the electronic version, but this is probably my favorite so far. I really liked how Ivy and Becket work through Ivy's medical issues; but I do wish we had seen a little more of Becket's. Clean book, good characters. I love how she brings past characters back from the previous series.

Another great book in the series. Got a peek at them in the last book, but this was all about them. I don't know why I get sucked in to Fircrest, but I'm happy to spend time with Ivy and Becket! Hot. E.

Another one to this series. I love that we are getting to know all the rich, hot and younger members of the community. Their love lives and drama are interesting. Fun chemistry, clean!
