In order for ThunderClan to get it back, they have to win a battle against them. Fireheart then informed Stonefur and Mistyfoot that they are Bluestar's kits, and he was trying to defend his leader because they were trying to battle her. Once Graystripe warns Fireheart of Leopardstar's attack behind the rocks, he is told that he is a traitor and can no longer be in RiverClan territory. If a RiverClan cat sees him on their territory, he will be killed. They then win the battle, keep Sunningrocks in their territory, and accept Graystripe back into ThunderClan, though many cats do not like him since he left for his kits.

Other spoilers (that most people may already know):
~ Crookedstar - RiverClan's leader (and Silverstream's father) dies, and Leopardfur becomes the new leader of RiverClan.
~ Bluestar looses her last life.
~ Graypool dies from - what she first thought was Oakheart - Tigerstar.
~ The Clan finds out Snowkit is/was deaf, and gets carried off by a hawk.(less)
Haelyn Of course it is all about cats! Why else would every single book of Warriors have a cat on it?

“His voice barely more than a whisper, he added, “I love you.” Sandstorm’s eyes glowed. “I love you too, Fireheart,” she whispered.”

There is much left to be desired in this instalment of the series. Characters I loved previously became frustrating, the story dragged, and the climax of the whole thing was far from exciting. Nothing seemed to go well for Thunderclan (or Fireheart for that matter) and the final death in the book was almost a relief for me, although somewhat sad. Sadder still, my ma

What went wrong?

Up till now, the Warriors series has been entertaining despite a few flaws (such as problems conveniently being solved in a second, leaving no real sense of trouble or complication). But never has it been as mediocre in terms of plot and character as A Dangerous Path!

Let me enumerate the main problems I found. Firstly, Bluestar. Yes, Bluestar has endured a serious shock. Yes, she’s going through a hard time. Yes, it’s ‘normal’ for her to be traumatised, mistrustful and difficult

something is in the forest and Fireheart doesn't know what it is. Bluestar thinks that it is windclan steeling prey and she declares a fight. Fireheart found a way to stop it. Bluestar thinks every one in the clan is a traiter except for Fireheart until he stoped the fight. Riverclan tries to take part of thunderclans territory but thunderclan wont allow it. they start to fight. During the fight Bluestar tells mistyfoot and stonefur the truth that they were her kits and she gave them to rivercla ...more

I really feel like Children's books of this genre didn't used to be so terrifying and stressful. As a child (and obviously still presently) I always read a lot of animal-themed books, and while many of them were frightening and dealt with themes maybe not present in other children's books (or books encouraged for children) I feel like they were on a different emotional level than what's being put out today. I think what it comes down to is no children's author has successfully created the overwh ...more

I really enjoyed the first four books but this one wasn't that great. Bluestar was just annoying and unbelievable, the actions of the other clans toward Thunderclan weren't believable. Not figuring out what "pack, kill" meant was unbelievable. Plus nothing really happened. Apprentices were trained, cats hunted, cats went to meetings, cats died... but it was just really repetitive of other books. So many chances missed to kill Tigerstar (like at the very end). Well, one book left. Maybe it will g ...more

I knew what the end of this book brought; it was sad, but it needed to happen for the sake of Thunder Clan. On to the next book and the epic battle that looms in the distance.

lmao i can’t believe i forgot about bluestar’s whole “you’re all traitors and StarClan is evil” nihilist phase, it’s A Lot

like imagine if dumbledore had spent the entirety of Order of the Phoenix in a paranoid haze, talking about how magic didn’t exist and all of hogwarts was against him

but then also dumbledore is a sentient cat

that’s what this is like

After the rather bland fourth book, a really strong story follows, probably the best in the series so far. Fireheart deals with a paranoid-delusional clan leader who thinks they're at war with Star Clan... Cloudpaw develops an atheistic attitude towards the cats in the stars... there are some nicely developed interfeline relationships here, while the story rollicks along at a very fast pace and ends in a quite satisfying (though a bit manipulative, emotionally) way.

The book, A Dangerous Path is about four different clans made up of cats who live in the forest. The clans are called ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, and ShadowClan. The main character is a tabby cat with firey-red fur named Fireheart. He is part of ThunderClan. Every cat must be loyal to their clan and their leader and fight to risk their lives for their clan. In A Dangerous Path the ThunderClan leader suspects WindClan for trespassing and stealing their prey. However, Fireheart, the deputy ...more

Have you ever had a loss that scarred you for life?
This book is about Tigerstar's horrible ambitions to revenge thunderclan, the tragic result scars fireheart and the clans for a long time. Things are going to change greatly in all the clans. As the dark plans start to come together the forest is going to be blood-stained. One thing i really like about this book is that there is always darkness hidden in places that are quite closer that imagined, the mystery is unfolding. this book always urged

The write up for this book expresses the love the author feels for the natural world, and the wonder towards what cats think as they look out the window watching the world go by. I found this book a bit slow through the first half but muddled on because I finally started becoming interested in what was going to happen to the the main character and his clan. I am sorry to say that the plot seemed weak and the writing style was less than it should be. This book is suppose to be for children in the ...more

ShadowClan has chosen Tigerclaw--now called TigerStar--as their new leader, and Fireheart fears that his old enemy still harbors dark plans for vengeance on his former clan.

In this book, Bluestar dies, and Firestar becomes leader. [We all knew this would happen, seriously!]

i cannot in good conscience give this book a five star rating, because despite loving this story and these cats with all my heart and soul, this particular book is miserable and it took a lot out of me to read it. a lot of really depressing things happen without any real reprieve. if there had been more good things sprinkled in with the bad, it would have been fine and five. but good grief.

Totally five stars! The best out of all the warriors so far that I've read. The story begins with Bluestar her insane self after Tigerclaw betrays the clan as Fireheart predicted. Once Bluestar is at peace again the clan has no time to be thankful due to the BloodClan battle that Tigerstar has wrongly arranged. The clans will have to uniteonce more to defeat the evil leaders. This book may not be as epic but touching and truely a warriors life. It shows that when then chips are done, all you hav ...more

This book was in my opinion was not very entertaining just like the last one. I did not like the fact that Bluestar started to be nasty to her clan and the other leaders of the forest. I did not like Dog Pack and what happened to Brightpaw. I read the next one just to see what happened. I have to say that I think the next book was much better.

This is a sad book Bluestar, Swiftpaw, Snowkit die. Brightpaw is renamed Lostface when attacked by a dog that killed her brother Swiftpaw she lost her eye and ear. Cloudpaw gets his name Cloudtail. Snowkit is eaten by a hawk. And Bluestar drowns.

SOOOOOOOOO worth the read!!! At least two deaths, one of them UNBELIEVABLY SAD!!!!! Tigerstar, now the leader of Shadowclan, has some dark schemes that he puts into action and the book takes a sudden turn for a dark ending. However, we will see what happens in the next book:)

After the last two books had awkward pacing issues, A Dangerous Path jumps right back into the action as any good Warriors book does. There’s plenty of conflict and tension within the book alone, but we also see the seeds being sewn for the next and final book in the first Warriors arc. Subtle alliances are formed, not so subtle romances are built up and other relationships broken down. There’s redemption for my favorite character who had been really annoying up until the last couple of pages. T ...more

I'M NOT OKAY. *sobs incoherently*

What is this series doing to me?! I went in thinking of it as kind of a joke - a juvenile book for some fluff to pass the time - well, THE JOKE IS ON ME NOW.

This book is soooo not fluff. In a way, it *kind* of is - I mean, it's about warrior cats for crying out loud. But it's much heavier than I expected. There's a lot of death and hardship that totally caught me by surprise. The characters and world have gotten under my skin in a way I never expected them
