Michael Meadhra is an author and consultant who writes about Windows and a variety of Windows programs. After several years of experience in the corporate world, he began writing monthly software journals, and now he writes books. To date, he has coauthored or contributed to more than two dozen titles on topics such as DOS, Windows, Lotus Freelance Graphics, the Internet, and Quicken. He has written or contributed to more than 30 computer book titles and innumerable software newsletter articles. He sits on the committee that oversees technology use in his local school when he isn't refereeing confrontations between his robot creations and the four-legged members of his household.

I've looked through numerous photography books and most confuse me in a very short time. This book explained things very well. Yes there are basics, if you need that but they also give perspective and examples of how to achieve the desired result. Best photography book I've read, although that might not say a lot.

Only the last third of the book was really useful because I already knew all the basics about what makes up an exposure. However if photography is totally new to you, then this might be a good place to start.

Very useful and informative book to read. The only thing I don't like about it is the title which says, " For Digital Photographers Only". The book applies to all types of Photographers. It was over quoted.
