Change is scary. Change is also boring and never comes fast enough. Have You Seen My Tail? does a great job of illustrating both concepts in the same story. The main character sits at a pond wondering when she will finally be ‘big enough’ to do all the things she wants to do. As she’s pondering this she meets three different animals all upset about the recent changes in their lives. Katie-Jane meets a butterfly and near the pond. The beautiful butterfly is upset. She was once a caterpillar, happy and content.
