What is Miley supposed to do when her friend Oliver becomes totally obsessed with Hannah Montana? How can she possibly keep her pop-star identity hidden with Oliver constantly in her face, in her limo, "everywhere"?! Plus, Miley gets invited to a celebrity-filled birthday bash! https://openlibrary.org/books/OL23276...
i love this book i like the part when miley started to eat gum.then she did a buble and it fellon olivers face.then she said ''you and hannah are never going to be together'' and she showed her self
When you're waiting to be interviewed and there are no other sources of entertainment you pick up what you can find on the old magazine rack.
I loved Hannah Montana when I was 13 because I was young and Miley Cyprus seemed like a normal, down-to-earth girl back then.
I actually remember seeing the episodes retold in this book, those were better. The narrative on paper is kind of corny and flat. But reading this has kind of made me nostalgic. I will probably read a few more just for kicks.
this book is about a girl named miley stewert but she is realy a girl with two lives she is hannah montana behind her other life. She first in this book told her friend lilly that she was hannah but she was so supristed.she also told her best friend oliver and he fell out on the floor. She does not like being hannah montana beacuse she thin that people won't treat her the same.
Obviously this book isn't ever going to be considered great literature, but for its target audience, it's a fine story with good moral. I enjoyed it immensely.
The first Hannah book so I’m not sure why they didn’t start with the first episode with revealing Hannah to Lilly. This book like many Disney Chanel books is split into two parts and the first part follows Oliver as he falls in love with Hannah. The second part follows Miley being embarrassed by Lilly and ditching her for a Hannah Party. Stories taken straight from their corresponding episodes and have the Jackson sideline stories too. The text isn’t quite word for word like the show and not all the humour seems to be written in.
Книгата ме върна в тинейджърските ми години, когато гледах сериала и бях фен на Майли Сайръс. Супер беше да си припомня щуротията. Книжката е много готина и свежа.
3.5 stars. hannah montana was my favorite show growing up. i had almost all of her merchandise, and when i saw a collection of the books i just couldn’t pass them up. there were two different stories within this book and each were based off of an episode of the show. though these two weren’t my favorite episodes, i still enjoyed them.
Here she is the world's greatest music artist Hannah Montana! Well anyway Miley playing Miley playing Hannah in a novelisation of two episodes. I never really got the whole concept of why she had to disguise herself, but anyway, having briefly watched a bit of an episode once, I can say that the novel is far better and less annoying and better acting comes from the paper than the actors themselves.
Having never watched Hannah Montana in my life, I still wanted to see if I would enjoy reading the books, especially since I am a big fan of Miley Cyrus. But as my rating suggests this wasn't a book for me.
It was overly childish, and definitely wasn't what I was expecting.
The book is based on two episodes which are "Miley Get Your Gum" & "It's My Party And I'll Lie If I Want To". This is different to all other novelisations I have read from Sabrina to Charmed, from Buffy to High School Musical. And I think this is what put me off.
But even more so I was surprised to find many mistakes, one was so obvious that half the page was repeated and it didn't make sense whatsoever, did these books have an editor? And clearly that editor wasn't very good since they let that one slip.
However I did enjoy having a song lyric here and there, and I couldn't help singing that bit of the song. This is one thing I did like about the book, as the songs are something I do know.
Overall I definitely won't be getting the next book in the series, this was definitely a one time only thing.
This book is basically about Miley Stewart who leads both a normal teenage life and also a teen-pop sensation, Hannah Montana
Part one is about how Oliver, her BFF, has a huge crush on Hannah and how Miley tries to avoid that.Soon, she reveals her secret to him.
Part 2 is about how and why she finds Lilly or Lola embarrassing when she is on stage. Hannah gets an invite to go to Kelly Clarkson's birthday to which Lola doesn't get invited. When Hannah was waiting for her dad to pick her up , she gets caught leaving early by a photographer. Miley tries her best to keep Lily away from the newspaper article................and then ............
Can I just say Ugh and let it go at that? No, I guess I can't. Our girls, especially our oldest, love Hannah Montana.
As insipid as her show is, this is just a recap of two of them. I suppose that there are nuggets of goodness that you could find if you tried, such as being true to your friends, but I would rather have not had to read this. Anything to make our girls happy...
I'm 23 and just started watching Hannah Montana on tv and just started reading her books. This was good. I like that these books are coming from the tv show because If you have seen the episodes than you know what is going to happen. I just started the second book in the series. Will report back soon on that book.
I'm not too much of a Hannah Montanna book fan-face it-they're for 7 year olds, and plus they're no where near as good as the show... :l Same goes for all of the others.
I DON'T KNOW THE DATE I FINISHED ANY OF MY BOOKS. SO STOP BUGGIN' ME 'BOUT IT. XD I OWN ALL THE BOOKS I PUT ON HERE UNLESS I SAY OTHERWISE.
For any Hannah Montana fans-- this book is pretty good, I gave it a 3 out of 5 on ratings. Its just mainly one of the episodes on disney channel with more detail, so if you are a hannah montana fan- read this book! Its really actually OK!
Miley Stewart has a big secret. When the lights go down, she's pop star Hannah Montana! But balancing her pop star life with school and homework is harder than she thought. Plus, when her friend Oliver becomes totally obsessed with Hannah Montana, Miley doesn't know what to do!
Even though I admit that I enjoy the sitcom even better, but this book is awesome. It's fun to collect them, especially when you're die-hard fan of Miley Cyrus.
