Sea Breeze #9

Until the End

Rate this book
The backstory that fans have been clamoring for—how Rock and Trisha fell in love—is the final installment in the Sea Breeze series from New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines. And don’t miss the sizzling Epilogue, where Abbi wraps up all the Sea Breeze couples’ stories!

Trisha Corbin always knew how to hide a bruise. With her momma’s boyfriends unable to keep their hands off of her, she had no choice. And as long as it meant the guys wouldn’t go near her little brother, Krit, it was worth it. But her days of dreaming that Prince Charming would ever come rescue her are far, far in the past.

Rock Taylor always had a plan. Through football, he would rise above the life he was born into. A full ride to play for a major college team was within his reach—assuming he didn’t let anything get in his way. But scoring a date with the hottest girl in Sea Breeze was proving harder than expected. Trisha Corbin was every man’s walking fantasy, and she wouldn’t even glance his way.

When Rock finally does get Trisha in his truck, it isn’t for a date. It’s because he picks her up on the side of the road, beaten and bruised and walking to the local hospital. Before Rock knows it, football is no longer his life. Trisha Corbin is. And he’ll do anything to save her. And keep her.

In addition to Rock and Trisha’s love story, this special novel contains the wrap-up stories of all your favorite Sea Breeze couples: Sadie and Jax, Marcus and Low, Cage and Eva, Preston and Amanda, Jess and Jason, Krit and Blythe, and Dewayne and Sienna.

5 I LOVE ROCK stars!

 photo 2abba5cc-0c52-4b6e-830a-44adc89fb656_zpsab575e44.jpg

I started reading Abbi Glines Sea Breeze series right after the second book was released (Because of Low). It was one of the first books of hers that won me over. This series has had its ups and downs, but let me tell you… Abbi killed it with this last book! Way to end the series with a bang! Rock and Trisha. The consistent couple in all the Sea Breeze books. I’ve wanted their story for the longest and I’m so glad that it was told! I think it actually ended up being my favorite Sea Breeze stories.

 photo 728b0817-ded2-478d-a7ba-ffe464a27563_zpseb551b91.jpg

It all began in high school. Rock Taylor is the popular football player at Sea Breeze High. He was going places. Football scholarship in his future, different girl every weekend. He had is core group of guys and he was happy with that. Every thing changed for Rock the instant he laid eyes on Trisha Corbin.
Falling in love with Trisha had changed my life.

Trisha Corbin has no interest in men. Any at all. Even one as good looking as Rock Taylor. All she’s interested in is getting through high school alive and protecting her younger brother Krit until she’s older and can get them out of their abusive household. She’s not looking for a hero. But Rock is persistent. He’s there every turn. Slowly but surely he proves to her he’s not just looking for a good time. He wants Trisha forever.

Perfection. There is no other way to describe this man. I have to say- Rock is definitely my new favorite SeaBreeze boy. Just perfection. This guy. I have no other words. Trisha was great too. I’ve always liked her in the other books, but hearing her story- I love her now. It brought me to tears more than once. I’m even more glad now with how their story ended. They both deserve everything good they get.

After Rock and Trisha’s story, which was about half of the book, we get epilogues from each couple in the Sea Breeze series. I’m not going to rehash each one, you can just read them for yourself! But here is a quote or two from each couples epilogue!

Breathe- Jax and Sadie

When it’s all said and done, I felt Rock and Trisha’s story ended far too soon. Half of a book isn’t near enough for them. They deserved an entire story. I’m feeling a little greedy here, but I wish Abbi would have given them the entire book, then come up with some kind of novella of epilogues. But I guess I’ll be happy with what I got. Rock and Trisha’s portion of the story- 5+ stars for sure. Each of the epilogues were a little different. Some I loved, some had a wee bit of unnecessary drama, but still, I loved getting more of a conclusion to some of my favorite couples stories.

Overall, this was a great read. Maybe the best Sea Breeze book written (at least the Rock/Trisha part) Way to end the series on a high note! I would recommend this to all fans of the series.

4 1/2–This is how you end a series–Stars!

description

I'm making this short and sweet as there are plenty of great reviews already posted for this book.

Wow! Abbi Glines did an excellent job wrapping up her series with this story. In fact, it's my favorite book of her's to date. I'll be honest; Gline's stories don't always work for me, as I'm not her target audience. That said, when I find a book of hers that works for me, it inevitably finds a place on my favorites shelf.

Until the End is unique, engaging, well constructed, and such a delight to read. I was excited to get Rock and Trisha's backstory, as well as epilogues for each couple in this series. My absolute favorite part of this book, however, didn't happen until the very last page–or I should say LINE–of the story. Now, that was clever writing! I ended this book with a giggle and a huge cheesy grin on my face. You can't ask for more than that!

4.5 perfect ending stars!!

It's no secret that AG's latest offerings have been a hit or miss for me, but Sea Breeze has always been my favorite AG series. And now it's ending.

Until The End tells the story of Rock and Trisha. But not only do we get to read their story, we also get to catch up with previous couples each with their own epilogues.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Rock and Trisha's story was beautiful. Cage York had my heart for most of the series but holy hell, Rock just might have stolen his spot.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Rocky is full on protective alpha and his love for Trisha was just amazing and life-affirming. During the series, the two of them holds the group together and they are always willing to go the extra mile to help their friends. In this book, we get a glimpse of their past, and everything -- the way they sacrificed for their friends -- made perfect sense.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The epilogues were a mixed bag simply because some couples just stood out more to me than others. But overall, I still enjoyed all the epilogues. It was great to catch up with all of them.

Fave quotes from the book...

“One day, Trisha Corbin, you will call me your hero. And that day will be the most important moment in my life.”

“I don’t want to be your friend, Trisha. I want to be yours.”

“I’ll let you get dressed. See you in a few. I’ll be the handsome guy at the end of the aisle. Come get me.”

“What am I going to do with you? You’re just getting worse.”
“Keep me. That’s what you’re going to do with me.”

And just when you think it's over, Abby Glines pulled a fast one on us with those last two words!!

Sniff, sniff… this series is over and I'm so happy to say that Abbi Glines didn’t disappoint with this last book. I tried to savor every minute.

description

This book starts with Rock and Trisha’s story from way back in the days of Sea Breeze high. I loved there story and was slightly miffed that I didn’t get more than half a book about them because it was really cute. Rock’s pursuit of Trisha was really well done and I was all in the zone and was sad they didn’t get a full book.

”Accept the fact that all I see is you, Trisha Corbin. Then decide what you want to do about it.”

Trisha and Krit’s home life is a war zone while she struggles for clothing, food and keeping her brother happy. Trisha was a fantastic character but just as wonderful was Rocky who is the school’s football star and every girl’s dream guy. Rocky only has eyes for Trisha though and proves that he can be hero.

”One day, Trisha Corbin, you will call me your hero. And that day will the most important moment in my life.”

The second half this book is epilogues for each couple of the series. Some epilogues I just loved while others were based on unnecessary drama (which I hate) still each ended on a happy note.

Some of my favorite quotes from the epilogues…

”See you in a few. I’ll be the handsome guy at the end of the aisle. Come get me.”

”When I was sixteen years old, I was positive that I would never love anyone as much as I loved Preston Drake.”

”Oh, he was still a playboy. He was just my playboy.”

”All reformed players needed a little girl of their own.”

”Can…can I call you Dad too?”

Overall, this book wrapped up the series with one big ass bow! Yes there were some epilogues that were better than others just like some books in this series I preferred over others and that last line I totally didn't see coming.

5 Perfect ending Stars

Until the End has a couple different parts, it begins with Trisha and Rock’s story then goes into epilogues of the other Sea Breeze couples. I loved how Abbi incorporated the other stories and gave a glimpse into what is happening now.

Trisha and Rock

I wasn’t really looking forward to this one, because I wasn’t really sure what could be said for Trisha and Rock. They have always just been in the background throughout the series. In the end, I actually enjoyed their story so much more then I thought I would.

“Trisha had been my girl for much longer. I had been entranced by the teenager who wouldn’t give me the time of day, and completely captivated by the woman she had become.”

I knew neither of them had a great childhood, but I wasn’t aware of exactly how much Rock sacrificed his own dreams to save Trisha. Trisha and Rock meet in high school, this isn’t the perfect high school sweetheart story, no Trisha is reluctant to give the popular jock, constantly surrounded by women the time of day. She doesn’t have time to live a normal life, she is just struggling to survive and protect her younger brother.

At first, Rock assumes Trisha is playing hard to get, but he soon realizes something is different about her. Not only does she act off, but she completely turns down all of his advances. Rock finally gets his opening when Kirk tells Rock about Trisha being beaten. Rock immediately steps in to try and help Trisha, to protect her. Now that is human nature, but the level to which Rock goes to protect Trisha isn’t normal. He will give up anything to know that she is safe.

I loved Trisha and Rock’s story. I loved seeing the guys back in high school, seeing their bond and how they were before they met the girls that changed their lives. Seeing this back story just helped me understand why Trisha was always so protective of all the guys. Trisha and Rock together were perfection. Rock gave up everything to save Trisha, and in doing so changed both of their lives. Their story was sweet and like all the Sea Breeze boys, sexy as sin.

"I love you. I love you so damn much. You make me crazy. You’re mine, Trisha. You’ll always be mine.”

The Epilogues

While I wouldn’t have thought these epilogues were needed I am so happy they were included. I loved catching up with my favorite characters. I especially loved seeing how their love and passion for each other hadn’t changed with kids, jobs, and "grown up life". I had two favorite parts. First that Green got a little part, because I have been begging Abbi for a book for Green. Second, I absolutely loved that last line. I can only hope what this might mean.

If you have been following the boys of Sea Breeze, I highly recommend this one.

With one look, that girl changed my dreams.

This was such a bittersweet book for me to read. Sea Breeze has been my favorite series of Abbi Glines, even though not every book in the series has been a total winner for me. But through them all, the two characters that always had a solid presence have been Trisha and Rock. I think that Miss Glines couldn't have ended this fantastic series with a better couple. Rock was...he was just...GAH! He was swoonworthy perfection.
One day, Trisha Corbin, you will call me your hero. And that day will be the most important moment in my life.

I loved seeing how this couple first got together and fell in love. We've already gotten peaks into Trisha's turbulent childhood in the previous books, and we know that Rock has been her cornerstone through it all. What we didn't know is how it all began and came to be. And this book gives you that extremely satisfying, sweet and also steamy love story that we've all been dying for.
I had been entranced by the teenager who wouldn't give me the time of day, and completely captivated by the woman she had become.

I can honestly tell you that Rock may just be my favorite hero by Abbi Glines. EVER. The man was walking perfection, even as a teenager. The things that he says never failed to make my heart flutter.

"Why did you do that?"
"Because I'm crazy about you. Because your lips are the prettiest damn lips I've ever seen. Because you think you're a burden to me when I just want to keep you close to me all the time. Because you are making me lose my mind. Because I don't want to be your friend, Trisha. I want to be yours."

My only wish is that their romance would have been a little longer. It was only half the book, while the other half gives the reader extended epilogues of all the previous couples in this series.

I loved getting those final peaks into the lives of these couples months and then years later. It was the perfect way to bring Sea Breeze to a close. I almost don't know what to do with myself now that it's over. ESPECIALLY after that last line!

This review contains spoilers!

How to write an Abbi Glines book:

1. Take an insecure, country bumpkin and a slow, six-packed idiot and have them meet.

2. Add ridiculous, over-the-top friends to each character, making them as inappropriate as possible.

3. Give both characters either awful, barbaric parents (note: girl's parents should be slightly worse) or dead parents.

4. Create plot that revolves around boy "saving" girl.

5. Virgin sex. Without a condom.

6. Throw in a simple miscommunication that could easily be resolved but isn't due to immaturity and...well, lack of common sense.

7. Male character, upon dilemma realization, says: FUCK!

8. Boy chases after girl and apologizes; sorts out misunderstanding.

9. Sex marathon, which may result in unplanned pregnancy out of wedlock.

And that's how you do it!

description

This is the "last" book in this series and I thought maybe it would be summed up and actually make me smile. All I did was roll my eyes. The focal point of this one was the relationship of Rock and Trisha, two characters I have no attachment to. It was the same Abbi Glines plot: she was being beaten at home, sacrificing her body to save her brother, and the guy stepped in to save her.

We could discuss the ludicrous things that CPS, let alone doctors, would never ignore - like when Trisha was beaten within an inch of her life, attempted to walk five miles to a hospital so she wouldn't be a burden, and claimed she fell down the stairs. Her stepmother showed up and screamed in the faces of the medical staff and made a mockery of parents in general.

We could discuss how her pro-life agenda was obvious. Again.

We could discuss how after hearing their story, I still don't care about them. Which says a lot, since they've been mentioned in every book so far. They never left an impression.

However, I would like to focus on the last two words of the series.

After we hear Rock and Trisha's happily ever blah blah blah, we get to hear how the rest of the couples are doing.

Jax and Sadie break up briefly after he sees a picture of her kissing his drummer. Instead of talking with her, getting her side of the story, he immediately beats the hell out of his drummer, yells at Sadie, breaks off the engagement, and tells her to get out of his house. Instead of letting him calm down and attempting to work things out, she packs up and moves back home. Yes, such an adult thing to do. Oh and she's preggo. So she doesn't tell him about his child. I wasn't worried though. Just like all her other stories, the misunderstanding was cleared up and all monstrous barbs were forgiven. Then they had sex.

Willow and Marcus were doing fine and nothing really happened to them. Actually, they're perfect and their story was so boring let's not even talk about it. Just know they also had sex.

Amanda saw a text on Preston's phone a few days before their wedding that basically implied he was cheating on her. She broke down in tears and cried to her brother, who then spoke to Preston and did all the talking for her. Again, the misunderstanding was sorted out and they had sex.

Jess is now pregnant with Jason's baby. He's still going to his elitist college and every person that comes in contact with Jess is still treating her like garbage. She's insecure about him so she even changes how she eats to make him stay! Aside from altering everything about herself to the point of being pathetic, she also hates the weight she's gained. You know, from being pregnant. Don't worry, Jason assures her he loves her by having lots of sex.

Blythe can't believe the success she's had from being a self-published author!..................really? Just, really? Okay, so she's doing SO well being an author and Krit can't believe it either. It's a shame he was going to propose. Now that she's got money, he can't do that. She'll think he only wants her for her money. Yup. She finds the ring, gets depressed, but he finally proposes and they have sex.

Sienna is pregnant again! We know this because she is throwing up. Typical cliches aside, she does inform Dewayne and he's thrilled. He will be a daddy to his brother's baby mama. The two rednecks finish by having sex.

Finally there is Eva, who is happy with her husband and baby girl. They have sex and then all the happy couples arrive for their daughter's birthday party.

After all this is over, we jump ten years to their daughter's POV. Everyone is still married, happy, and have a bajillion kids between them. Despite statistics telling us at least one of those couples should be divorced, they're all still crazy about each other. Bliss is abruptly cut off from thinking about her crazy extended family when a cute boy walks over. After some innocent flirtation she tells him she needs to take off. She asks for his name:

Nate Finlay.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

I thought this would be the end of the series, but now it looks like Glines will continue to write some type of spinoff. I detest that authors are incapable of creativity any more. Can she not write another series? With different characters? Perhaps ones that don't have impossible sex all the time?

OH MY GOD THIS BOOK WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE LAST 3-4 BOOKS IN THE SERIES! Why wasn't the entire series as good as this one?

No official review, highly enjoyable book. I only had issues with Sadie's actions and that's why it's a 4 and not a 5 stars.

And that ending y'all?

I loved this! Abbi Glines definitely saved the best Until the End! 5 Perfectly Ended Stars

Rock and Trisha have always been the constant...the "it" couple of the Sea Breeze Series who has their stuff together. The have always been strong and in complete love and trust with one another. Knowing their back story makes them even more special!

Their beginning was not insta-lust, immature flirting, or even high school drama. Nope, Rock Taylor may have been a HS sports star and Trisha Corbin may have been just an ordinary girl with hidden pain, but the path to one another was cut deep.

I love a man who knows what he wants...whose tired of the easy game...who sees more and knows when he has met the one to make the "good life." Rock may have been just a senior in high school, but the plain beauty and closed off Trisha called to him like no other. He wanted her to be his. He wanted to own her. He wanted to be her Hero. YES...he fulfilled every one of his wishes.

Trisha Corbin fought her whole life to survive with the love of a brother to get her through. Taking Rock's hand gave her an immediate armor...a permanent shield...and a love so great it would consume her!

Kudos to Abbi Glines for this back story. Thank you for the past and present moments of the love Rock and Corbin have for one another. As for that epilogue....

YAY for the catch up with all the characters. I loved it! And that last line....OMG....if Abbi Glines takes that spin she just layed out...it will be epic!!!

Perhaps I've outgrown Abbi's style of writing...

I wanted to like this because
A. I've pretty much read all 8 books prior to this one.
B. Rock is sexy as hell
C. I like to give second chances (the last book I read from Abbi was okay but not great.)

Unfortunately, while I read, I grew bored and skipped a lot. Did I mentioned this book was short? It is. My problem had to do with repetition in her heroes. They're all written with the same characteristics. Variety is the spice of life, right? I need some of that, Abbi.
So why did I read this?
The main reason was due to the "amazing Epilogue" and "surprise last two words." I will say though I was surprised. Never saw that coming and if Abby decides to continue the stories, I'll *probably* give it a go *slaps self*. Anyway I know people will have different opinions and by no means I want to discourage you. This didn't work out for me but maybe it will for you.

WOOHOO! That was awesome!

I'm so frickin happy right now! So, firstly i really loved Rock and Trisha's part of the book. It was awesome to see how they fell in love!

ARGH!!!! THOSE EPILOGUES!!!!!!
I loved every single one of them!
Although it was a while ago that i read this series, i felt the same connection now as i did back then! All of the characters have come such a long way and i was more than happy to be with them every step of the way! Lol
And i'm so happy all the characters got a happily ever after!
Lately, i've been reading a lot of dark kind of romances and this was such a sweet and adorable change!

And the final epilogue! WHAT? i hope they don't leave me hanging like that. I want more! I NEED MORE!

Wow, what a way to end a series! Glines wraps it up with a big HEA that started before the series ever began. Until the End is the back story of the beloved couple Trisha and Rock.

Their story is rocky, an emotional roller coaster of true love but ends with the HEA we know they will find. Difficult circumstance of abuse, neglect and finding solace and family in each other make these characters come alive every page you turn.

But Rocky’s and Trisha’s story aren't the only story told. Glines also gives us a wonderful update on all the other Sea Breeze couples. Although its about HEA, they may be a certain gentleman or two who needed a little kick in the pants to get their lives back on track.

The clincher was Glines very last sentence, you just couldn’t help but smile.

I highly recommend all new adult romance fans check out Abbi Glines’ the Sea Breeze series.

This is a series I will be re-reading.

I received this ARC copy of Until the End from Simon Pulse in exchange for a honest review. This book is set for publication November 17, 2015.

I AM STILL IN SHOCK. THOSE TWO DAMN LINES! I STILL HAVE FUCKING GOOSEBUMPS. HOLY GOODNESS! WHAT A WAY TO END IT. FUCK. WHAT A WAY TO END IT!!

The fact that this book started off during their high school years added my attachment to their characters. It's like you really get to be with them during their ups and downs. And I'm super glad that I get to see their happy endings.

Abbi Glines is a fucking genius. I knew there's a reason why I admire her so much as a romance writer. She wrapped up every loose ends and I am very much satisfied on the outcome. Even though I will surely miss series (my ultimate fave romance series), I am seriously satisfied.

BUT THAT DAMN ENDING LEFT ME WANTING MORE. It made me panicky and greedy and crazy and have I mentioned GREEDY?! I WANT MORE. MORE OF THEM. MORE OF SEA BREEZE. MORE OF _______ and _______. (Obviously, I can't mention the names or it'll ruin the surprise.)

Seriously speaking, I was planning on writing a fan fiction about the next generation before I read that last POV. But after reading it, seems like I don't have to. >:)

If you're a fan of Abbi Glines, this might be the book to not miss. Hell, it's probably my favorite book of the lot. And that's saying something.

THAT LAST LINE WAS JUST AMAZING-- seriously, I gasped when I read it! Abbi Glines sure knows how to wrap up a series!

I loved the fact that in addition to seeing Trisha and Rock's story, we also got to revisit all of our favourite Sea Breeze couples and get an update on where they were each at. I felt myself being taken back to each Sea Breeze book and it made me realize that I could never choose a favourite couple because I love all of them so much!!

I'm sad to see the series end, but I can't wait for what Abbi Glines has in store for us next! Bring it on!

2.5 Estrellas!

This was the perfect END to an amazing series. Every author should write something like this. We get to hear a bit about all our beloved characters and their HEAs ☺

I loved hearing Rock & Trish's story and I loved the verrrry End - you know - the last TWO WORDS - I knew what they were the second it said 10 YEARS LATER ☺ I LOVED IT!!! I might have laughed/cried out loud - in the middle of the night - poor Mr. Hubby ☺☺☺

What I didn't love alll that much was the way all those epilogues all had the same kind of sex and the same kind of stupid in them - but I still enjoyed seeing them all again!!

I can't wait what Abbi will come up with next - I just hope it won't be too young and too religious - meaning NO RELIGION in my romances at all please!

Well - as I said before - PERFECT ENDING to a great series....

Oh holy Heck! I mean what! Squeal that was GOOOOOD and the ending OMFG!!

5 Until the End Stars

Rock & Trisha

Ahhh yes Trisha, she always protected her brother Krit. But who protects Trisha this is where I fall in love with Rock. He was wise beyond his years. And even though Trisha doesn’t make it easy on him, he doesn’t give up. He knows who and what he wants and he is going to be there for her until she see him.

Thank goodness it didn’t take that long, but it was an epic love story. I loved how we got younger Trisha and Rock and the older version too. You see that their love just became stronger.

I love this so much.

Again narration was fantastic but what I need to say in those Epilogues!!! They were freaking fantastic!! And that ending… HELL YES!

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Oh my I just started reading this book and full of mixed emotions. I'm scared and anxious to keep reading knowing it's the last one of this series hurts. I love how much Rock loves Trisha. It's great seeing him as a dad. I'm so happy for them.

Rock Taylor is my hero how sweet who would have thought.

The epilogue takes you on an emotional roller coaster. I love how we get an update on all the characters. I have always hated Low sister Tawny she is so damn selfish.

OMG love the ending Bliss York bumping into sexy Nate Finlay. Now I'm crossing my fingers hoping a new series can begin with the kids of the characters we love it will be awesome. Sad that's it the ending but couldn't end any better than it did. Loved every single page of this book. It deserves 6 stars.

Until the End is the story we’ve all been waiting for – Trisha and Rock’s. They’ve been fantastic supporting characters throughout this series and I’m so glad to finally have their story because it’s hard to miss how much these two characters love each other.

When Rock Taylor laid eyes on Trisha Corbin for the very first time he was captivated. He knew he had to get to know her and sets out to do just that. The problem is Trisha Corbin refuses to get close to Rock because she doesn’t want to bring his life down with her baggage – baggage that won’t go away until she officially becomes an adult and can move out of her step-mother’s house, taking her younger brother Krit with her. But Rock is one determined guy and soon Trisha discovers that she needs Rock more than she ever realised.

I really enjoyed Trisha and Rock’s story. It is great to finally know how these two go together rather than just hearing bits of it from them during the other characters stories. I guess you could say it was love at first sight for Rock. He knew straight away that he had to get to know Trisha and I really enjoyed reading their journey even though at times it was emotional – especially for Trisha.

One thing that surprised me was how short their story is. I felt as though even though they had hard times, they’re story was cut down a lot more than the other characters and I liked that. I liked that it didn’t drag out but it felt as though we didn’t miss out on anything. This also made way for the epilogues. Yep, you heard me – epilogues! Not one, not two but one for each couple. How amazing is that?

The epilogues are simply amazing. Now don’t get thinking it’s all hearts and flowers like I was. The epilogues are damn emotional. Some had me worried, but I shouldn’t have been. Abbi did the characters proud. The added extras to their journeys were fabulous and my favourite of all was revisiting them again and seeing where they were at – especially seeing Preston and Amanda and Dewayne and Sienna.

But that’s not all. Abbi treats us readers for one final treat and boy, is it a good one. I’m left dying to know now if she plans on pursuing this thing or not – I’m all for it! I loved it!

In all, it’s been a fantastic journey following the Sea Breeze characters and I’m eager to see what Abbi has up her sleeve next. Until the End is the perfect ending!

Abbi Glines kills me. Seriously. Every.single.time.

I didn't think I'd love this book. Don't get me wrong, I knew I'd like it. I love this bunch of characters so much, how could I not love their epilogue? At the same time I was skeptical that it would have any real depth. I mean, now do you cover 9 couples stories and still manage to make it anything more than a "this is what happened" to them cut and dry story.

Silly me. First Rock and Trisha - ADORED their story. My only complaint is that they didn't get a whole book on their own. Rock is swoon-worthy - and with only half a book cemented himself as one of my favorite heroes of this series.

Then the epilogues for each couple - perfection. They were perfect. No two the same - all making me fall in love with them all over again (this week will be a mass re read of the whole series because I'm just so enthralled with them again).

Then oh my dear God. Please someone tell me that that ending was a set up for a future book --- please !!?!!!?! I'm dying here. Must, must have that story.

That's the problem with a series like sea breeze - and an author like Abbi Glines - I don't ever want it to end --- but really --- I've got to have that story!!!!

I want all the stories though - Green, (that was a nice tease too!!) Bliss, Daisy mea, and the whole rest of the (apparently ever growing brood) sea breeze kids.

Loved every word of this book. Must have more!!!

It's 2:42 am and I couldn't let this book go until I finished it. If I could give it a thousand stars, I'd do it.
Oh my gods.
I didn't know what to expect of this book to be honest. I absolutely love Sea Breeze series and when I realized this was going to be the last book I felt so so sad. Sea Breeze has been my happy story. Whenever I need a happy book I just pick any of book of it. I need happy endings and I'm damn happy Abbi gives them so awsomely.
Trisha and Rock's story is something I was really looking forward to. Over 8 books they've been such a steady ground for our characters and being able to read about them? Amazing. I fell in love with Rock even more and I my love and respect for Trisha just went nuts. And those wrap up stories? Man, they were just I what I needed. What better way to end a great series than with a happy family party? These characters have come from too much and have achieved so much that makes me so happy just knowing they're happy. And the last part? Bliss's part? JESUS!! I was crying while reading about their babies and oh Nate!!.I'm so blown away I cannot even think straight.

I think this could've been a full 4 star read, but I was under the impression that the entire book was Rock and Trisha's story. So when I hit the half way mark and found out that the rest was short stories of the previous couples, I was a little bummed. Not that I got to see more off everyone from a 9 book series, but that I just wasn't finished with Rock and Trisha!

Seriously, I totally underestimated this series. I really enjoyed it and am so glad that I finally binged it this summer.
