This is PART TWO of the Distant Desires serial series.

An erotic tale from beyond the stars
Sophie Perez has never believed the stuff she reads online about possible life in space. Aliens are for the movies, for the weirdoes, and they most definitely are not real.
One night on the way home from a late shift at work, her car breaks down. Stranded on the side of a country ro

Overall: This story picks up where the last one left off. Sophie finds out that she is pregnant and Tarek tells her that his planet his dying and that is why he beamed her up for the experiment. At first Sophie is scared and confused because that's not the kind of experimenting she thought was happening and than Tarek throws a bomb on her that he is leaving for 7 months, until the baby is born. After this point Sophie tries to make sense of what is happening and half way through the bo

OMG! I think I'm in love with an alien.
*SPOILERS*
On this part we continue where we left of in part one, there were no holes or anything, you read exactly what happened after Tarek tells Sophie she is pregnant. Of course with that cliffy and shock from part one you just need to know what is going to happen. On this part we get to know more about Tarek and we get to see a different side of him, one that he did not show in part one. There are more emotions on this part of the story and you sometim

I was really excited to read this serial because of where the last serial left it at! It was quite the cliff-hanger and I couldn't wait to see how the main character was going to react! I have to admit that it did take me a while to get round to reading this serial, but once I did, I couldn't put it down! It does kinda help that they're pretty short lol! The plot of this novella was even better than the plot of the first novella! There were a few more hot, sexy scenes, which I loved, and the ove ...more

Please note: this novella is being sold as a complete novel despite the collected version not being on Goodreads. This review is of all three novella's so it might be spoilerish

This book was a surprise for me. It came up as a recommended read by Amazon and as it was in the KindleUnlimited section (free for me as a subscriber), I wasn't expecting much as most sci-fi erotica in this section are not great reads. This was a really good read for me as it was hot, I connected with the characters and I

REVIEW FOR ALL THREE BOOKS IS THE SAME

On the way home frm a night shift, Sophie's truck stops dead. Her phone wont work either. Overhead, lights in the sky show a round shape, much like a flying saucer. Next thing, Sophie is part of an experiment, about touch. Then its all gone, and she is left wondering. A second visit from her alien suitor results in a far more life changing experiment, and Sophie is left to learn, that all alien experiments are bad.

Published originally as 3 short parts, this

When we left Sophie, she was reeling from learning the news that she was pregnant. I don’t know about you, but my jaw was hanging open and instead of making actual words, all I could bring myself to do was whimper a little. I was in shock. But the very best kind of shock because only the very best authors pull off a story like this.

There’s no way a story that involves a small town girl being abducted by an alien and subsequently knocked up should work. There’s no way that a believable romance s

WOW!! I loved this book!!

I really, really liked book one, but book two I LOVED!! I love the way Cambria describes everything in her books, the way people look, the surroundings, people's feelings, she has a way with words that makes you conned to every single character and transport you to whatever place she is describing. Is as if you were there with them, seeing what they are seeing, feeling what they are feeling, it's an absolute joy to read her books.

The end of book one left us all with ou

I must admit that when I read Part One of this series I was disappointed. There wasn’t enough emotion and the sexual encounters Sophie experienced were very clinical. I realize that in a way they were meant to be, but I didn’t in any way connect with the pleasure and feelings she was feeling. I am, however, extremely happy that I chose to continue reading the rest of this series, because the story came to life and suddenly there was plenty of emotion and although, for me, the chemistry between S ...more

Amazing as usual. We follow along the path further with Sophie's pregnancy and her acceptance of it. We find that this pregnancy and her connection with Tarek is not only felt by her but not Tarek as well. This time she isn't just within his little part of the world, his hovercraft...but he becomes more involved in her's. Showing also his need to be the only male within her life and his possessive side. That this child within her womb is his alone,no one else is allowed to be the father. We learn ...more

This is not a standalone. You need to read book 1.

In this book Sophie has to decide how to conceal her pregnancy until she can explain it to everyone. She deals with it the best she can because Tarek is not there. Matt is there for her and this evokes some emotion within Tarek who decides to come be with Sophia.

The best part of this book is how Sophie comes to the realization she is going to be a mother and how Tarek deals with the fact he can feel emotion.

Another great book by a great author. T

OHEMMGEEE!!! Cambria sure know how to pull the strings on her readers to get them and keep them begging for more!!! You will get mad, you will get sad, you will feel experience everything that the characters are experiencing!!! Tarek is hard to read.....he keeps to himself and doesn't explain his feelings much!!! You really do want to scream and shake him at times, but at other times you are thinking of other things you'd like to do.......... Lol
Cambria makes the BEST book boyfriends!!! It doesn

WOW!! For the paranormal & sci-fi romantics...this series seriously just keeps getting better & better which leaves me confident in believing Part 3 will blast us out of this universe! I appreciate that Part 2 picks up right where Part 1 left us, so we never miss a beat. And while I really enjoyed the 1st book I have to say the 2nd is just so much more!! The characters have developed quickly while the story unveils it's mysteries. I am totally smitten by Tarek, & must have more!

4.7 Star Review – Distant Desires part 2

I recommend this book.

Sophie is with child.

As this little development sends her reeling we have to wonder what will the baby look like?

Tarek explains that his people are no longer baring children so he inseminated Sophie to see if it would take.

Sophie is freaking out.

Then he states he will come for the child.

Weird things start happening and soon Tarek is back and doing things that Sophie is not happy about

When Tarek is called back to his ship Sophie wonde

I really loved part 2.
In this part of the story we find Sophie’s pregnancy moving along. She still hasn’t told anyone she is pregnant & is feeling a little fragile. We also get to learn a lot more about Tarek & what makes him tick.

It feels that Cambria has settled into this part more & brings the characters personalities out, so we really get to know them.

This was way better than part 1, even more sexy & I am so looking forward to part 3

I liked Part 1, but I loved Part 2! We get more emotion and feeling from all the characters, not just Sophie, but Tarek and Matt as well, which I thought was great. Cambria Hebert does an awesome job of making the reader feel the confusion, happiness and passion right along with Sophie. I highly recommend this out-of-this-world read. I will definitely be impatiently waiting for the next installment!

This continues from part one, Sophie is far along in her pregnancy, but keeping it secret so far.
In this part we get deeper into the characters & learn a lot more about Tarek.
Sophie &Tarek are so sexy together & work perfectly.
I enjoyed part 2 better than part one, much more like Cambria Hebert.

Definitely unique supernatural tale. I was a bit hesitant about diving into a story between a human and Alien who fall in love. But this story is so much more than that and I'm so glad I took the chance and read it.

Tarek is so sweet. He has this innocent vulnerability about him that just melts your heart. I love how protective he is of Sophie too. Can't wait to see where this serial goes next.

Cambria Hebert is a latte sipping author of the Heven & Hell series, the Death Escorts series, and the Take It Off series. She loves a caramel latte, hates math and is afraid of chickens (yes, chickens). She went to college for a bachelor’s degree, couldn’t pick a major and ended up with a degree in cosmetology. So rest assured her characters will always have good hair. She currently lives in
