This book was great to add to the Community Helpers text set that I used it for. It also helped that it was bilingual and would work great in my classroom. The pictures were realistic and had a great plot.

Love this book! It written in English and Spanish. It talks about Tito's Uncle who is a firefighter. I never heard as a child that we could grow up and anything more than a laborer or factory worker. This a story of pride and encouragement. It shows Hispanic children that any dream is achievable it you are willing to work for it.

This is a fun book about a little boy from East Harlem whose bilingual abilities let him work with the firefighters for a day. There are not a ton of books these days that can keep my 2-year-old's attention start to finish, but this one he's asked for over and over again.

Very life like art with a matching storyline. While this would not make a good read aloud, I did like that the Spanish words were highlighted in read for easy explaining.
