Debut? This is a debut? Seriously? Celeste's writing is so stunningly beautiful and intricate it's impossible to wrap my head around the fact that this is her FIRST book. And while I'm on the subject of first books...she better hurry her cute little butt up and give us the second because OMG did she leave me hanging.

Without leaving spoilers, all I can say is this book has it all and then some. Eva and Blake will creep into your hearts and by the end of LIVE ME you will feel as if you know them,

Live Me by Celeste Grande was just the book I needed. Funny thing is, like the best loves, I didn't know until I found it.

Evangelina Ricci leaves her hometown and attempts to escape her dark past by leaving for college with her bff Jace. There, she finds Blake; kind, sweet and gorgeous Blake. Who is determined to make he
"In the short time I'd known him, he had burrowed his way into my heart and shattered all my make-shift walls."

Live Me is the heart-breaking tale of Evangalina, a young woman who flees home for college hoping to escape the nightmare she's been living.

This poor girl is so weighed down with trouble, but she's not willing, or able, to let anyone in, thinking she can get through it all on her own. Thinking she doesn't deserve good in her life because of what has happened to her. This was so very fr

I really tried to have patience with this book and these characters, trying to not roll my eyes very often or too hard, trying to understand their personalities and actions, but I'm DONE! I've read until 23% and I'm sure that is going to be worse. Or maybe not, but honestly I won't waste any other second with this one and let me explain why.

I understand abuse and I try to sympathize with the characters that had a rough life, but Eva is a completely whinny, moppy, cocky girl who acts like she's t

I was provided an early copy of Live Me: A Pieces of Broken Novel in exchange for an honest review. Even though this is not a HEA, I will say that I honestly loved reading it. The story begins with Evangelina Ricci looking back at the reasons why she needed a fresh new start in a new place. She applies to a college that is not too far from home, but enough to get away from the past that has plagued her for years. With her best friend, Jace, she thinks that she has the perfect escape. Little does ...more

To be honest I did not finish this book. This book was just okay for me. It deals with a very real and very intense subject. There is a certain darkness and some healing that is inspiring. I loved the love interest, Blake in this book. He’s sweet, caring, and would do anything for Evangelina .

I don’t care for Evangelina’s character very much. I certainly understand that she’s had a lot of crap delivered to her, but she seriously does nothing b

A phenomenal story about one girls’ resolve to keep the world at bay with her three best friends help until she meets the one man who turns her world around and upside down. With such strength and desire, Celeste Grande has brought us a new coveted BBF to the table, and his name is Blake. I like to say Persistent Blake. Get ready, he’s sure to make you swoon and sweat!

Blake and Angel. A couple that was written with so much electricity that it jumped off the screen, onto my skin, seeped deep wit

If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. I'm still floored by the fact that this is her debut! It reads like this is her 100th book. I honestly don't even know where or how to being my review. When I finish a book, I immediately start another one. I'm officially in hangover mode because of this book and that says a lot. There have only been a handful of books that have done this to me. If a book causes a hangover, then it's a damn good book, in my opinion. When you read, you want to be t ...more

My blog partner, and wonderful friend Lexy has been talking about this book for some time now. She just kept saying, “Watch this book. I have a feeling.” I knew nothing of the story, and saw ONE teaser and knew as soon as I could, I needed to read it.

She is never wrong with these hunches, and let me tell you, Celeste Grande is one to watch for.

For a debut novel, Live Me is anything but. Flawless writing with a multitude of complex characters in a city that I have never been to; I felt like I

I have such mixed feelings about this book. On one hand I understand the main characters desire to keep her secret but on the other hand I feel like she's kind of making her life harder than it needs to be. blake's character is so incredibly supportive and her family is incredibly supportive and loving, she also has a solid group of friends around her who only want to be there for her yet she still keeps this terrible dark secret side. Her best friend Jace bugs me a little but too. This guys kno ...more

First off, cliffhanger?! Really? I haven't encountered one in ages. Thanks for that, by the way.
Now, the number of times I swooned was literally interminable. The first date was so damn alluring! Blake was irresistibly charming. And Jace was such a sweetheart, I loved how close he was to Eva and how they had their own inside jokes and certain tendencies. Sandra's accident had such a great impact on the story; a turning point that was clear

This book was a difficult and heartbreaking read. The story was so beautifully written that you feel all the emotions that the characters feel. You actually feel as if you are a part of the story.

Eva is a broken girl trying to figure out life, how to live each day and how to feel normal when she felt the complete opposite. Blake is living a lie with doing what his father wants him to do, however when he saw Eva his life changed...every

I had to stop reading this book because it was just too much. The instalove started in the first chapter and it was just so sickening and gross; I was actually cringing at some of the dialogue - especially the fact that the male protag decides that Evangelina's nickname should be 'Angel' and at one point tells her that it looks like she has a halo... I think that was when I finally closed the book and decid

I am blown away. This book is the debut novel for Celeste Grande, and if this first novel is any indication, you can bet there will be many more amazing things to come. LIVE ME is a heartbreakingly stunning story of a harsh reality and the journey after the breaking. This story is tragic and beautiful, leaving you reeling from what you know and what you don’t.
After doing a mini rave above about Celeste and this book, I want to start off and say I kind of hate her right now (in the most loving aw

"Live Me" by Celeste Grande is very clearly a graphic romance novel. It's about a young college freshman named Evangelina, Eva for short. She is a typical everyday college girl, so it seems. But dig deeper into the book and you'll dig deeper into her past. She has a very deep and scary past that she isn't quite over yet, but tries to hide that fact and run from it. She runs straight towards her future by going to a college miles away from home. But she doesn't go alone.

I literally just finished Live Me and the emotional impact of the book required chocolate AND wine. I’m struggling a little bit with what to tell you about this book because I was honestly blown away….
Let’s start with the fact that this is a DEBUT novel. If I had not known that going in, I would be scrounging around looking for Ms. Grande’s backlist because Live Me was that good – I automatically want to look for more from

I’ve always been a sucker for broken stories, so I immediately signed up for a slot after I read the synopsis of this review but I never expected a debut novel to be this good.

It started with a prologue that was disturbing but ended beautifully broken. Call me a creep but I love how Celeste ended a scene with synonyms that was written like a whispered poem, and how it reflected how the character slowly crumbles and break. Like I told you, beautiful.

Now, rape is tricky subject but

I had the very fortunate task of beta reading this amazing story so I may be just a bit biased!! I feel in love with Eva and Blake from the beginning!! This was a true labor of love for Celeste Grande and I am so over the moon happy that her baby is finally here and the whole world gets to see what an amazing writer she is!! I’ve known for a while now what an amazing story this was and Celeste deserves every ounce of praise she has received!! She was able to roll up all things I love in a book, ...more

I don't even know where to begin this review. Live Me is such an emotional ride...Celeste made me feel so many emotions throughout this book as well as made me feel like I was actually in the book with the characters watching it all unfold. I have not read a book that wrecked me like this one in a really long time. Although it may seem like a lengthy book and the start isn't a "shot gun" start, I very much feel that everything contained in it is necessary to be able to ge
