I received the first book of this sequel in exchanged for an honest review. But, I enjoyed it so much that I needed to buy and read the second one !
I liked how the two books were interlinked with each other. This one is based on "Kelly" Jewel's best friend and her quest for finding love. Even though it is possible to read this book without reading the first one, this story still gives important details, continuity and addition to the first one.

Kelly follows her best friend to New York leaving home to avoid a scandal that caused everyone to turn on her including her family. She wants to start over and make better choices when it comes to men. Through Jewels she meets two men that she is attracted to for very different reasons. I discovered Jennifer Ann when I read Book #1 in the series, Adam's List. I loved it and had high expectations for this book. She knocked it out of the park. What a great story. This story follows Kelly on her journey to find herself again. I could so identify with the character and her need to not be defined by the decisions of her past. Kelly's Quest is one of my favourite books for 2014. I loved Jen's first book Adam's List and the way she poured emotion into her characters. Jen has a talent for sucking you into her story and believing you are experiencing everything her characters feel. While reading Kelly's Quest I swooned over her hot men! Jennifer Ann does it once again. This book is AMAZING and one of my all time favorites. Wow just wow, This was amazing story. I thought book 1 was great it has nothing on it like book 2 that's for sure. It has completely blown my mind away. The characters didn't change one bit they got better and we got to know them more. This story was a 1person POV. This is one story you don't want to miss, you do want to read book 1 to have some since on who is who and what has happened so far as the characters do talk about some events in book1. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first picked up this series, but from the moment I started book one, I couldn't put it down. Book one and two were finished the same day, and I'm really struggling to actually go to bed now instead of starting book 3.
Definitely looking forward to reading more by this author. Her characters are well developed and easy to fall in love with. Even Erik is easy to feel sorry for. Can't wait to see what the next book brings.

The second book in a trilogy (Adam's List is first). Jewels' best friend Kelly moves to NYC after being run out of town by her family. Now she's looking to find somewhere to live, somewhere to work and someone to love despite her deep dark secret.
This book was very disappointing after reading Adams List.. I did not like the direction this book took for the most part, and i did not connect with Kelly till the end. Theo though was amazing. The best part of this book was their date!! The rest of it was just ok.
