Shadow’s Pleasure is book two in the Shadow Warder series by Molle McGregor. I fell in love with Kiernan in the previous book so I was thrilled to have this book focus on him. He is a man that doesn’t play by the rules, he does what he feels is the right thing to do. How could you not love him?

Sorcha Danvers has practically been a prisoner in her own home for the last ten years. Pushed by an opportunistic mother and abused by her mentor, she knows it's way past time to escape her current situation. When three of her friends are imprisoned by a rogue Warder Director she is the one with the most chances to find them. Now she only has to persuade the Shadow Elders that her mentor is wrong and that she is ready to go back into the world.

To a guy whose pet hobby was blowing shit up, Sorcha was looking like the perfect woman.

This was my favorite book of the series. First, because of the guy on the cover.

turtle vomit coming in 5, 4, 3, 2...

But, that's not the only reason it was my favorite. The storyline is getting pretty complex and exciting. Also, the romance did move a little more slowly. Not as much insta-love.

So, we have So

As soon as I finished the previous book (Shadow's Awakening) I ploughed straight into this one. To be honest I wasn’t sure if I was going like Kiernan as he is best described as a Womaniser, or Player or even more accurate a Man-Wh**e. I like my Heroes to be good looking, well built, sexy and to have the confidence vibe going on, but don’t usually take to those who have several women on the go at the same time. What made Kiernan stand out and not be sleazy about it all is th

First let me say that I love this series! :)

I love the Shadows and I love the Warders! Not every one of them, but the heroes and heroines of these books! LOL

They never have a TSTL moment and I appreciated that very much!

The stories are not too complicated, but they're interesting, nicely paced and logical. The characters always react like I would if in their shoes! :)

In every next book you get another piece of the overall story, but I think that there w

Shadow’s Pleasure is the second installment of the SHADOW WARDER series. I didn't actually read the prequel to the series, but in a nutshell, there is a race of supernaturals called Shadows and Warders. Each battle a race of demons called the Vorati. For thousands of years, the Shadows and Warders have been kept separate with an unknown rift causing them to distrust one another, now, however, Shad

I received an eARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I did enjoy this story, but I didn't find it to be quite as captivating as the first book in the series, or the prequel novella. I think this was because I couldn't connect myself to the characters like I could with Gabe and Celeste (Shadow's Passion), and Conner and Hannah (Shadow's Awakening). I felt rather detached from Kiernan especially, and my appreciation for Sorcha's character was a wobbly ride at times. Despite this set

A free ARC of this book was received with the request for an honest review.

Shadow’s Pleasure is the second full length novel in Molle McGregor’s Shadow Warder series. In the prequel novella and first novel, we were introduced to the world of a special race of people (Shadows and Warders) who fight demons called the Vorati. The Vorati possess humans, taking them over until there is nothing left of the original soul. For 1,500 years the Shadows and Warders have been kept apart in their fight even

I suspected things were going to heat up between Kiernan and Sorcha just based off the way the Warder stared at Sorcha the first time they met but I wasn’t prepared for the level of heat that happened in this book. Smoking hot takes on a whole other meaning in this story. Grab your bottled water, a fan and a fire extinguisher because things are heating up in the Shadow Warder world.

Kiernan is as charming as charming gets but he’s also honest, respectful and kind. His charm doesn’t come from a pl

For a decade Sorcha has been trapped in the sanctuary treated like an invalid. Sorcha's younger sister Lissa, Caerwyn and Sara all disappeared. Caerwyn's car, phone every sign of them have disappeared. Iris and Garren both deemed Sorcha too fragile to leave the Sanctuary. The Warders and Hannah were their best lead on Caerwyn, Lissa and Sara. They knew that they were alive being held as a part of a sinister plan. Sorcha gained ground when Garren didn't object to her tracking them. He just object ...more

Well now!! I've decided I love this series!! I've finally read the prequel and now I'm hooked!! This is a great paranormal romance! With lots of big sexy strong guys and wonderful heroic woman!! Plus, nobody likes the bad guy demons lol so we want those great gals and HAWT guys to win!!

Sorcha is bad ass. Can I just say I love her! She's had a rough go of it but she won't let it keep her down. Plus she can manipulate fire and that's just too cool for me! But now, she needs to find her two missin

I received an advanced release copy for an honest review, and I have to say I absolutely loved this book!! This one hasn't even been released yet, and I'm already looking forward to the next story. Like all excellent stories, Shadow's Pleasure drew me in from the first page. I felt completely invested in the characters lives. I loved Kiernan and Sorcha (Scorch), and cheered them on throughout the entire story. There was a great introduction for the secondary characters, Madoc, Ben, and Aiden, so ...more

I was given an A.R.C. of this but that will not colour my review in any way.
This is book #2 in the Shadow Warder's series. While you could read it as a stand alone, the rescue mission they are on will make more sense if you have read the previous book.
Sorcha is a Shadow empath with fire at her fingertips. She has been living in the sanctuary for years. Her mental shields failed her when she lived outside, so now the other Shadows believe her to be to weak to leave. When she lived outside s

I am so glad that I received an arc of this book from Molle McGregor for an honest review. I loved this book, it was a fitting tribute to Kiernan and Sorcha. The book does not disappoint.

"Shadow's Pleasure" is about Kiernan, a Warder, and Sorcha, a Shadow, trying to locate three missing Shadows that have been kidnapped by the Warder director. I loved that Sorcha was a perfect match for Kiernan with her fire abilities, since he loves to blow things up. They have an instant attraction to one anoth

~~~~~~~~~~Dee's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~
After reading the Prequel and Book One, I went into this book with high expectations and Ms. McGregor didn't disappoint. An adventure and love story of Sorcha and Kiernan just as exciting, intense and suspenseful as the previous book. She is a Shadow living in the Shadow compound and he is a Warder visiting there with Connor and Hannah. Seeing the beginning tendrils of attraction between the two was sweet: they are perfect for each other. She is a furnace of
I read the ARC copy of the book and I must say that I love this system of a free copy of the book in exchange for honest reviews. I'm hoping there will be more ARC copies of up and coming books. Highly recommended! Go check out being on the ARC list by signing up on the author's website.
For me personally, I felt the book was nice. I had previously read Shadow's Passion and I think I liked that book better than this one. This book, I felt, didn't really excite me. There was a lot of action but I
I read this Arc for a honest review. This third book was absolutely fabulous. This is a great series.
Sorcha is a tracker but has lead a life inside the Sanctuary. Her mentor Steven is bad news. It took her a while to figure out what he was doing to her but she was able to fight through. She wants out of the Sanctuary and tracking the three missing Shadows is her way out. Shadows and Warders were created to fight the Vorati. She wants to do just that. She wants to use her powers for the greater g
Este libro me fue entregado como un eARCs por la autora a cambio de una opinión honesta.
Le doy 4.5 estrellitas!!!
Habiendo leído los dos libros anteriores, este libro fue muy esperado, la historia de Kiernan y Sorcha es atrapante y esclarecedora, es difícil de entender que aquellos que deben amarte y protegerte te manipulen y te hagan sentir débil, la fe de Kiernan en Sorcha y la fuerza interna de Sorcha hace que todo pueda salir adelante, aún falta un largo camino a recorrer y sus vidas seguirá
Shadow Pleasure doesn't miss a beat as it picks up exactly were Book 1 left off with Sorcha and Kiernan story.
They are Brought together by circumstance. Bound together by chance. Despite the danger, passions ignite... I feel that sums it up just right.
Book two will not disappoint, a excellent job of being descriptive, yet without being too wordy. As a result the book was fast-paced and full of action, tensions, and drama and let's not forget the romance that once again I was captivated from the
I love these characters. Sorcha is tough and feisty despite being oppressed for many years by a menacing mentor and awful parents.
Kiernan is a great guy. He is loyal to a fault, tough, protective, and fierce. Oh, he is also incredibly sweet at times and he likes to take his woman shopping. ;-)
This story had a steady pace that was helped by the mystery, action and romance.
I am really liking this series and I can't wait to read the next book. I am also eager for Kate and Ben's story!
Sorcha has a lead on the location of her friends that have gone missing and she is going to rescue them. Kiernan is going with her and these two have some serious chemistry going on. Oh and Sorcha can totally kick ass and has other talents like making fire in her hands. Kiernan wants to protect her and Sorcha has to convince everyone that she has the strength to do it. Turns out she has been in Sanctuary due to something that happened in her past that left her broken. Kiernan has his own set of ...more
Sorcha and These two are combustible together. Their relationship is far from smooth and no less deep than the others in this series. I absolutely love Kiernan. He’s the bad boy that everyone loves, and wonderfully enough he found a woman who can keep up with him. I really can’t talk much about this story because it gives too much information up about the over arching storyline. But needless to say, we are introduced to Aiden and Caerwyn. Though there’s nothing said about a stor ...more
I don't know how she does it but once again I was hooked from start to finish if it wasn't for the fact I had to sleep I would have happily read this in one sitting. Keenan and scorch are my all time favourites so far an I can't wait to read book 3 when it comes out to see what happens next. I love this series cause it's not your typical good vs evil book it mixes it up and twists the story lines so you can only guess what will happen next.
I pretty much have most of the same feelings about this one as I did the last. Thoroughly enjoyable. Like able characters. I actually liked these a little better than I did the MCs from the last one. I look forward to the next one coming out. But I hope we get an update on Gabe (from book 0.5, the prequel).
