"IF YOU CHOOSE ONE PATH, YOU LOSE ALL THE OTHERS."

Alice has been whisked to the Country of Clover, but at least her home-Hatter Mansion-came along for the move. Her intimate friendship with Elliot gives her strength to face the new challenges, but he's a man of contradictions, and she's uneasy about his hard mobster interior lurking behind the grinning goofball exterior. When she starts to fall for him, however, memories of her past world resurface that begin to sway her. Clover is a dangerous place for hesitation. Beware the talking doors!

It seems one can't go wrong with Elliot the March Hare. He has always been one of my favourite characters from the Alice in the Country of... of series and I'm pleased to say that, having now finished this one, I have enjoyed all his spin off works. While my ratings always fell somewhere between 3 and 4 stars, that's largely due to the fact that they are all standalones and thus can't deliver as much, but they are all pretty safe picks for Elliot fans.

Like the others, this instalment was on the luckier side and got lovely art. The story fully relies on you already being largely familiar with the original series and would definitely lack meat otherwise. As it is, it is a pretty standard but cute story of how Alice and Elliot find to each other. Given Elliot's personality, he's very sweet with her from the start so a lot of it revolves around figuring out if it's just platonic friendliness or more. There's fairly little drama in the sense of other characters trying to butt in. There's a wee bit of hesitation again from Alice's part in regards to staying in Wonderland or going back home, but that's more or less the core theme of most instalments.

It's sweet, pretty well paced for a standalone and I dare say delivers what you'd expect from an Elliot focused standalone. I'd have loved a longer series for him but, we take what we can get.

Updated Review 8/3/24: After reading Alice in the Country of Clover: March Hare I decided I need more of Elliot and reread this volume shortly after and it's as wonderful as the first time I read it! Still my favorite spin-off centered around him and Alice being a couple!

Original Review 1/19/24: "What's the point of fearing something you don't know?"

This volume was so very wonderful!

I LOVED Elliot in the main series, but all the spin-offs I've read focused on Alice having a romance with him have been horrible. (There is only one I still haven't read yet.) I know Elliot is a mobster, but I really disliked how he acted and treated her.

In this story however he treated Alice so sweetly and had one of my favorite tropes of a "bad guy" who actually has a heart of gold and will do anything for his woman despite the way he acts/appears to others. (I know this is WHY I wanted Alice x Elliot to be the endgame in the main series. LOL!)

I felt that trope was played out beautifully and is actually the first time where I felt Alice wasn't pressured into staying simply because the guy said she HAS to stay due to him loving her. Sure, did Elliot say he WANTED her to stay, yeah, but Alice is the one who ultimately made the decision in the end.

Not only that, I felt there was more than just physical attraction between these two, and instead, an actual blooming relationship. They went on dates and got to know one another, all the while genuinely falling for each other. Again, it was beautiful and I deeply enjoyed every moment!

Something unrelated to the romance that I liked was Blood and Ace's characters! They had their typical unhingeness, but not in a mean or authoritative way. I know this is definitely one of my second favorite stories (the main series being the first) of how I really liked the way Ace's character was portrayed.

Truly, everything was so well done about this story! Alice felt like she was her own character and not someone who was just a "sexy" eye candy or pawn for the guys, but a heroine who grew throughout the story and realized what she was looking for.

If you're looking for an Alice x Elliot romance spin-off, this is one I would HIGHLY recommend! Very happy I grabbed this because it's one I'll definitely reread again!

This volume of the seemingly endless franchise takes the prize for being one of the sweetest. The least sexual in nature, Alice's (third) romance with Elliot focuses on how comfortable he makes her feel, creating a relationship that is both heartwarming and tender. Ace plays a very interesting role this time, making this feel like the flip side of his three-book series, and the use of Lorina (Alice's older sister) mixes things up enough to make this feel like it isn't just another retread. The new artist has a softer style than many and is one of the better ones to grace the franchise, and I hope to see more from this particular team.

This manga series is pure escapist fantasy, but I eat it up like popcorn. March Hare's Revolution is a standalone title in the Country of Clover universe and follows Alice as she develops feelings for the Hatter's right hand man, Elliot March. There's not much to the story, but that's pretty expected in a one-shot. The main plot consists of Alice trying to get over her initial reaction to seeing Elliot kill some assassins. Not the best in the series, but not the worst either.

Like all Alice in the Country of Hearts/Clover, The March Hare's Revolution is a wild ride of violence, mischief, and romance. I've owned this one for a while, but recently reread it for Easter and decide to post a review. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed Elliot and Alice's relationship. Elliot is one of the more interesting characters in the series (at least, in my opinion) with his sorted history. Despite his turbulent life as a mafia member, he has a sweet side and a want to protect Alice from the wars of Wonderland rather than drag her into them. Not to mention, I live for those rabbit ears.

I absolutely loved the artwork for this one. Ryo Kazuki's art style is just gorgeous. A definite must have if you're a fan of the series.

Elliot has always ben my favourite so this was a nice and easy enjoyable read. I loved the artwork of this one as well. But with all the moving cogs and so many different characters and takes on them I'm starting to get confused between them all and what's allowed and what's not.

Still. i liked this rabbit a lot better than the other one, so I had a better time than the last one.

Alice tries out Elliot's new carrot centered recipes and the rumors of the two being a couple grow. Alice has another bad dream about her sister Lorina. Ace tries to get Alice to go back to her world, but Elliot stops her and confesses his love to her.

I love this artist, and I love Elliot March, so the two combined made for a wonderful read in the Quinrose Alice universe.

There was more language in this one, I feel like, which knocked the score down for me some. The My Fanatic Rabbit ones were cuter and more to my liking.

An Alice X Elliot spinoff about how it feels to let yourself be open to others, particularly the one you love. You have to accept them, both good and bad; and they have to accept you, both good and bad. Even if you'd rather not let them see your bad side. On top of that, you leave yourself vulnerable, trusting the other person not to hurt you. But at the same time, knowing how to apologize when you do hurt someone.

Note: Alice in the Country of Clover is the sequel to Alice in the Country of Hearts; both of which are based off Otome dating games. A phenomenon called 'moving' takes place, which is why the name of the country changes, and results in a few new characters appearing but a few old characters disappearing. The first dating sim resulted in a manga (by the same title) that spawned many different spinoffs. This is one of those stories.

This spinoff has 1 volume.

Knowing that I am a massive March Hare/Eliot fan, I have been chomping at the bit and salivating for this manga. Then when you toss in the title and the content of past Eliot centric books I was certain that this book was going to be about Eliot’s past (A lot of this is covered in country of Joker and in other Eliot centric stories). Yet, this story was not what I expected it to be, not to say that it is bad thing.

The first thing that jumped out at me in this story was the fact that there is a lizard and a spider on Eliot’s scarf. Looking back I realize that it has always been there just very subtle comparatively. Over all the art work threw me off a bit, it was different than what I am used to. Of course, the characters are recognizable as always and I knew to expect the art work to be different considering that it wasn’t Mamenosuke Fujimaru’s work as most of the books are. However, there are artists who manage to come close to drawing similar to Mamenosuke while others fall short, such as Job who draws thinks long and lean. Ryo Kazuki is another artists who does things differently but instead of long and lean Ryo goes more for a soft bubble look. The hair instead of sharp angles as most manga I’m used to is, has a softer more curved look to it. It threw me off for the first few pages. Eventually however I got lost in the story and the art became second nature. I do know that I did appreciate how clear emotions were on the faces of the characters giving the story added life instead of constantly having sound effects notate emotion, or ambiguous drawings that left me guessing at times (the latter of which Job is occasionally guilty of).

As for the story, it is about the developing romance between Alice and Eliot. There isn’t a lot of action, such as an epic plot to pull Alice away from her love or massively put her life in danger. The focus of the story as on Alice and Eliot, as they spend time together and Alice realizes that there is more to her and Eliot than just friendship. The twist and pull of the story that helps give things momentum is the fact that Alice is having dreams of her sister and is wavering on whether to stay or to go back home. She is also frightened by the kind of dangerous life she would have if she stays with Eliot, as he is the second in command of a mafia and they were attacked during one of their outings. (Honestly I loved that bit as Eliot was so amazingly protective that it made me a little bit giddy.)

In the end the story was sufficiently cute. It was not overly dramatic or heavy, very light and airy without too much romance. Yet, it was still rather good and sweet. I found myself giving out a sigh as I closed the book and content that only a very small portion was devoted to a preview of another story, rather than a 1/3 of the story being devoted to a preview. Over all, I think I would give this book a 3 out of 5 star. While there are several Eliot centric books that are on my ‘wish to own’ list (read most – if not all) this one will not be making the list.

I must admit, as much as Julius x Alice is my oldest and biggest ship in this series, I am growing fonder and fonder of Elliot x Alice each time I read one of the spin-off manga where they're the main pairing.... And I swear, the more I read this series, the more Ace really freaks me out.... Blood Dupre is only awful in the manga where HE'S the canon love interest, as opposed to ones like this one, where he's actually kinda sweet, when he's shipping Alice with Elliot. But Ace is just straight up terrifying, and only gets worse and worse.... But hey, at least Elliot is always to Alice's rescue! (When he's the canon love interest, that is...)

I do wish this series would give SOME straight answers though! So many volumes hint at Alice's past, with the whole complex with her sister (where she loves her sister, but also is irrationally jealous of her), and I'm half-convinced that she either witnessed her sister's death or caused it (directly or not), hence why she's always "lost" in Wonderland... But I suppose the ambiguity is what always brings me back to this trash series that I kinda love to death.

alice and elliot's relationship was cute? i guess? honestly, i was much more interested in the hints of info we got on alice's sister and how that intersected with whatever it was ace was trying to get alice to do

i think i'll order ace of hearts next, clearly all the interesting plot stuff is living with ace in this series. 2.5 stars

The art was really good in this one, almost on par with the original series, which was nice. I was expecting a mildly entertaining and (usually poorly written) cutesy-flufsy OTP pusher that these follow-ups tend to be, but this actually had a plot and didn't go over-the-top while shipping AlicexElliot. Quick but really cute!

This story of Alice and Elliot was pretty cute and i liked to see Elliot in so many different ways, cute, angry and just in love also it was weird but also funny to see Blood looking at them and saying 'you should talk with the young lady.' So i really liked this story and liked the cute and adorable story between those two.

OMG I WANT AN ELLIOT NOW! OMG IF A GUY EVER SAID THAT IF I LEFT HIM, HE'D TIE ME CLOSE TO HIM, I'D BE SO HAPPY! IF HE SAID THAT IF I LIKE SOME OTHER GUY AND HE'D KILL THE GUY, I'D MARRY THE GUY! Elliot is a keeper, you don't just pass them up :3

More fluff about Alice and Eliot, and I loved every minute of it.

More about Alice's sister is hinted at in this volume, though nothing concrete is revealed (much to my disappointment). The main focus is on Alice and Eliot, though, so if you're an Alice x Eliot fan, this is the volume for you.
