U2 are one of the world's biggest rock bands. This book takes fans inside the limo with the band, on the couch in the rehearsal studio, standing backstage and undertaking off-beat adventures in New York, Chicago, Hamburg, Paris and Rome.
Although quite dated by today's standards this book is the epitome of what the mid-90's were for both U2 and the fans. Nonetheless Faraway So Close is a great collection of stories and rare photographs of the band.
Am I the only person who finds BP Fallon kinda creepy? In any case, his writing alternately amuses and wearies, but it at least really puts you in the moment. That said, don't expect anything remarkable in that department - the pictures are really what you're here for.
