Lauren Peters never thought she would have a family and in an instant she is giving an instant one.

Mack Hansen never thought he would give up his playboy ways after seeing what had happen to his father when his mother left, but all that changes when Lauren agrees to be his bride in order to raise her niece and his god daughter, Callie when Callie's parent disappear.

Lauren had fantasized about Mack for years, but never once did she dream she would be married to and raising her niece with him. Alt

This ones seemed to fall between the cracks for me that the execution was the greatest for this author... Some of the words that were used in the story seem off (I guess that is the best guess I can actually offer.)

Overall this was an ok kind of story to pass the time but that was it. The synopsis and such had potential but the execution fell short for me...

How can two people with the same issues be together? Can the family like events and the passionate nights that they have make them see that they are meant to be together?

Before anything I have to say how could I not picked up this book to review with a handsome, sexy man taking his shirt off, now only if I could have been Lauren and devoured him myself. I love reading storyline’s that have to do with a marriage of convenience, I like seeing them fighting the attraction that they have for each ot

i liked the book don't get me wrong, but the characters were junk and poorly characterized.

synopsis: Girls brother disappears and she is left to take care of his child. there is a stipulation to his will and she must be married so obviously she has no choice but to marry her brothers best friend who she also has a major crush on. then they proceed to spend the whole book going back and forth in their head on how they couldn't possibly be with the other.

i'm afraid the cons out way the pros

I really wanted to like this book. It has all those tropes that I truly enjoy. You know the ones, where they have to marry to keep the baby safe. But they can't keep their hands off each other. Yep, I like that kind of book.

In this one, the parents of the baby are missing and presumed dead. There's a slight ray of hope that they are just in hiding, but everything points to them being dead. Instead of worrying about her brother and his wife, Lauren just can't keep her mind off of Mack...and the s

The Tycoon's Convenient Bride... and Baby was an OK read.

I really wanted to enjoy this story but I just couldn't get into it.
I struggled with both characters and their lack of communication.
For two smart people they kept misinterpreting what the other was saying and jumped to the wrong conclusions, after a while it got old :(

Thank you Netgalley and to Entangled Indulgence for the ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts.

This book, oy, this book. Suffice it to say, it was just not for me. I've never rated a book one star before but I suppose there is a first time for everything...I wish I could just leave it at that but I think it's only fair to state why this book did not work for me.

Lauren Peters has been crushing on her twin brother's best friend and business partner, Mack Hansen for years. He is her go-to fantasy man but that's all he's ever been, a fantasy. When her brother and sister-in-law go missing tho

From the summary I really thought I would like this, after all I do like the 'fake relationship' trope. However, I knew from the first chapter that it wasn't going to be the awesome read I hoped it would be – Mack arrives at Lauren's door in the pouring rain to tell her some earth-shattering news. Does he blurt it out in a panic which reflects the urgency of the situation? No, he accepts the towel she offers, strips off in front of h

In this modern day marriage of convenience story, Lauren and Mack are forced to marry to keep Lauren's niece out of the system when her brother (and Mack's business partner) and his wife go missing, but neither one of them are quite ready for all the complications the situations brings to their life. Not complications with work, or home or that sort of thing...what really gets complicated is their relationship with each other.

Lauren has been having fantasies about Mack even before the crazy will

Lauren Peters and Mack Hansen have known each other for years. Mack and Lauren's twin brother are business partners. They get thrown together when Lauren's brother and wife go missing and the two have been entrusted to care for their daughter Callie. The only crazy thing is that the brother stipulates that Callie is to be raised by a married couple. So you guessed it the two get married to keep Callie out of foster care.

The marriage is to be one for the sake of the child only. Issue

Overall I enjoyed reading this story. It's quick paced and fun. The characters are independent and strong in their own ways so that when combined together they make a good couple.

I found myself easily delving into the story. It starts off with a bang with a big shock thrown at the main characters. It's one that the reader can sympathize with if you have a close family member with children. I don't yet but I have close friends who have kids so it's something I can still relate to in Mack's shoes

Lauren is devastated when she finds out her brother has gone missing and the only thing she can think her brother would have wanted is her raising his daughter. She is determined to keep Callie so she agrees to marry Mack so she can have custody. Well the problem is that she has always had a crush on Mack. Has always dreamed of what it would be like to be with him, and the reality of it is even better than she imagined. But she is determined to guard her heart when this marriage is obviously onl ...more

This book has me torn. On the one hand, I like the premise--it makes somewhat more sense than many of the other "fake marriage" stories out there. (Key word there being somewhat. In this day and age it's hard to come up with a 100% plausible reason.) I also enjoyed the characters--both Lauren and Mack are likable, down-to-earth kinds of people (for all that Mack is insanely rich) and don't even get me started on baby Callie. Absolutely adorable, though she does tend to let them both off a little ...more

Note: I received this copy of The Tycoon’s Convenient Bride…and Baby by Shoshanna Evers for free through Entangled Publishing on NetGalley. The opinions and thoughts I share in this review are my own.

First off, i’m going to abbreviate this title to TTCB&B as typing that out a few times would likely double the length of my review on its own.

TTCB&B is the story of two people, Mack; rich tycoon and playboy, and Lauren; career business woman who has put all thoughts of a family of her own firmly beh

Two people, unlikely to ever settle down and have a family, are suddenly put into a situation that demands them to be in one.

Lauren Peters had crossed off having children long ago and had also crossed off the possibility of a serious intimate relationship when the last ex she had ended up ditching her because of an irrevocable problem.

Mack Hansen, an eligible bachelor with countless arm candy at various social functions, swore he would never settle down, especially seeing how his father was aft
In The Tycoon's Convenient Bride..., Mack and Lauren, who have known each other since childhood, are thrown into a marriage of convenience when Lauren's brother and his wife go missing and someone needs to take care of their child. Per the stipulations in her brother's will, Mack and Lauren get married to take on the care of her niece. Although the events leading up to this are a little farfetched (I would think the welfare of the child should be considered more when allocating caretakers, as op ...more

Another interesting take on a marriage of convenience. Lauren and Mack have known each other for a few years, but never romantically. When they need to find a husband/wife to keep Lauren's niece, Callie, out of foster care, Mack has the brilliant idea of marrying each other. They will divorce once custody is secured and they can both go about their lives. But nothing is ever as cut and dry and it seems at first.

They both secretly hold a flame for each other, but neither wants to say it out loud

Mack Hansen, her brother's partner, has the perfect answer. They will get married and share custody of Callie. After a year, they will dissolve their union. Can a marriage of convenience lead to a HEA? Lauren is very attracted to Mack but he's a serial dater. Lauren won't admit that she desires him. What would you do to save the life of your niece? Marry your brother's best friend? Yes. Once Lauren and Mack find out that Lauren's brother and his wife have been lost at sea and pronounced dead, Lauren and Mack are in a pickle. A part of her brother's will states that his daughter goes to someone that is married, but Lauren nor Mack are married. So instead of losing the infant to the system they decide to get married to each other to solve the problem.

But there's one thing questionabl

The Tycoon's Convenient Bride... and Baby by Shoshanna Evers is a brilliant read about two people who have known each other forever and marry to save Lauren's brothers baby so that Callie wont go into foster care. The will said the baby can only be raised by a married couple so in steps Mack, business partner to Lauren's brother.

The Tycoon's Convenient Bride...and Baby by Shoshanna Evers was a sweet, sexy and heartwarming story that I thoroughly enjoyed. I like when the hero and heroine unexpectedly and reluctantly have to marry and that there's an unspoken attraction simmering beneath the surface. Thanks to the "wording" in a will when her twin brother is presumed dead, Mack and Lauren marry each other in order to provide a family for baby Callie, Lauren's niece. What a refreshing story of love and devotion to family. Mack and Lauren are thrown together when her brother and wife disappear while on a boat in Mexico. The will states that it must be a married couple who have custody of their daughter Callie and so Mack and Lauren run to the courthouse and say I do.

They have secretly been lusting after one another for years but have not ever acted on it because of the friendship between Laurens brother and Mack, until they now find themselves married and liv

Lauren and Mack are faced with a challenge when Callie's parents are missing and they are named her guardians. The will stipulates one of them must be married to be her guardian or she will be sent to foster care.

I liked the concept of each character. Lauren was fantastic as a daycare owner and Mack was very believable as a business man. I even believed their chemistry and each have questions if their marriage could ever be real. The sexy scenes were varied an

I enjoyed this story, love Mack. He's sexy, sweet, smart and a good daddy. Lauren and Mack both have a thing for each other and fantasize about each other but they each don't know it though...Love how they worked it out together, love Callie too.
