I was excited to read this story, as the subject matter was exciting and a bit different from my “normal” type of book.
The book blurb states this is a story of married couple: Holly and Jeff exploring their sexuality together.
The story I read was about Holly & Jim, they are discussing and enjoying each other’s fantasies – and realize they share one! This was the one aspect of the story I enjoyed – I loved the communicating of wants.
Beyond that, I felt the dialogue was forced, repetitive, and a bit immature at times.
I understood that Holly was apprehensive about making the fantasy a reality, but didn’t need to read her thoughts 4 times.
I also understood that Jim was excited, but questioning his sexuality – this completely made sense to me the first time I read it…completely unnecessary another 2 times.

Together, Holly & Jim, decide they are going forward and want to experience a menage with another man. The seduction of said man, Jake, felt rushed and disjointed to me. The erotic scene between them didn’t feel sexy – I was uncomfortable while reading.

Overall, the story was a great concept but I just did not enjoy it.

This was a short quick read about a married couple exploring their sexual fantasies and desires. Jim and Holly love each other fiercely and they are very dedicated to their marriage and trust each other completely. Jim has this fantasy of having a threesome and his wife, Holly, felt insecure and started having thoughts that maybe her husband wanted another woman. When Holly finally realizes that it's not that Jim wants another woman, he is just turned on by the thought of watching her with another man. Holly starts to warm up to the idea and even starts to dream of being with other men. Holly and Jim are very open with each other and choose to explore these fantasies together. I liked this book it was well written and this was my first time reading this author. I felt there could have been more to the story like if it would be permanent or part time. Also the end of the book felt like there maybe a part two. Overall this story was ok.

Jim and Holly are happily married but want something more to spice up their sex life. Most people have a sexual fantasy but are afraid to bring it up. People usually fear that a three-some will ruin a marriage down the road. Can Jim talk holly into turning those fantasies into a reality when she openly states that she thinks a fellow coworkers client is good looking?

If you enjoy nothing but hot steamy sex with no real investment for the reader you will love this book. For those of us who need more character depth, scene development and a well-rounded plot then you will be disappointed I am afraid. As you can tell in the synopsis, Jeff and Holly are confronted with the desires and wishes to expand their sexual life and include another person. Holly fears at first she is looking at having to share her husband with another woman, but in reality Jeff wants to watch Holly with another man.

The rest of the book really deals with her dream about a ménage and finding the balance and comfort in adding a third to the relationship with the ending of them reaching the goal. Finding the perfect man and taking him to a hotel, giving their fantasy a try was very hot and sexy but for me it lacked passion and real emotions. We don't know if this will become a routine thing for them, it was like the reader was taken to the door, allowed to see the prizes and then shuffled away and we won't know what is next.

The title does fit this book; it was a road to open their relationship up. I wanted to seem more about the real relationship outside of the bedroom these two had and how they see this going in the future. While I did see some attempts at humor in the book, I found I was already lost when it was sex on what felt like every other page. I just didn’t find any enjoyment in this book, though the sex was hot, it was missing some key elements for me to be able to say I loved the book. It is a short read though so it would fill the need for a quick, hot and sexy escape, if that is what you are looking for.

I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review.

The copy of the book I received was an arc. I completely understand there are still changes to the book after arcs are sent. I hope this one went through an editing process btwn the copy I have and the for sale copy. I usually don't comment on editing issues because I know they still have more to do btwn copies but this one had many changes that needed to be made.

As for the story itself. I felt the story of Heather and Jim was well formed. The part of Heather and Jake needed more buildup. I would have liked to have read more about their conversation at dinner.

Their ménage scene was well written. I would like to read more about how Heather and Jim felt afterwards. How did they feel about each other after the experience. Did they plan to do it again? With Jake or someone else?

Hopefully all that will be answered in the next book

This was a quick read about a married couple exploring their sexual fantasies and desires. Jim and Holly love each other fiercely and they are very dedicated to their marriage and trust each other completely. Although, the sex scenes were very well descriptive and steamy, I found it hard to connect with the characters. The dialogue just didn't flow right for me. It almost felt forced and some sentences were very repetitive. All in all, it was a good quick sexy read.

This quick read starts off with a newly married couple beginning to share their fantasies. At first Holly seems a little taken back and worried about her husbands desires. Jim surprises Holly when he it isn't another woman he wants to share her with, but another man.

The story flows well. It was nice to not jump right into the whole story on the first few pages. The build up to actual fantasy playing out was refreshing. The feelings and reactions from the characters are believable and really help the story along. I felt this read was more about the story itself than being able to connect with the characters. It worked for this particular story. It was still steamy and definitely worth the read.

Need a little something to snag your interest? This short turns pillow talk into real life fantasy for the characters. So why not join them on the ride? Enjoy!

Looking for a quick hot, sexy read.... This book will leave you wanting to have a ménage of your own!!

Did you ever wonder what it would be like to share your fantasies with someone? How about actually turning those fantasies into a reality?

Jeff and Holly seem to be your typical married couple in love. Jeff starts to openly convey his desires to share his wife. Holly at first was conflicted and alarmed by the thoughts Jeff was having. Could Holly allow her husbands fantasies to become her reality? Will this be the death of their relationship or a new found explorations they embark on together bringing them closer.

Ashley did a great job on this book. The characters were quirky and likable. The story was fun, and sexy!
I would definately recommend this book!!

Usually novellas are not a favorite of mine, but I gave this one a fair shot. I kicked out all novella preconceptions and gave this 100% of my attention. Being a novella, the author doesn't have enough time to build on the plot, but I found this was a refreshing change. I didn't feel that I was dumped into the middle of a plot, completely clueless about what was going on. I felt immediately sucked into this couple's life. I felt along with Holly as her and Jim were making decisions and changes that would affect their relationship. I could feel Holly's feelings, her excitement, fear, apprehension. All in all it was a fun read.

Fair Writing; Atrocious Editing

The plot is OK, although it lacks originality or even a bit of uniqueness in its development. Beckham's writing lacks uniqueness, too, especially as the action is more often told than shown. The characters are likeable but not much more than cardboard facsimiles of actual people with depth. Point of view ping pongs from character to character with confusing speed. But the worst aspect of this story is the horrible editing--or, rather, the lack of any discernible editing. Bad spelling, missing letters and words, confused vocabulary, misused idioms, and--my favorite--Jim spilling his sperm on the bedsheets while he and his wife are having sex in the shower. There's just no excuse for those sorts of mistakes in a story offered for sale.

This was one of the most stupidest books I've ever read! It was silly and foolish from beginning to end. The husband Jim comes off as real panty and his wife, I just couldn't stand her stupidness. I mean, she has a low self esteem about herself and she's got these wild fantasies about being with other men, she shares this with her husband and he's totally turned on and talks her into bringing this to life. I could not stand the couple nor could I bring myself to like the story line itself.
So you're wondering why I even gave it 1 star...it's more like .5 and that's only because it was extremely short and hecka fast read....that's one book closer to my reading goal :)

This is a really quick read. It's an ideal short story before bed.
Jeff and Holly are a newly married couple. Jeff secretly would love to see his wife having sex with another man. After mentioning it to Holly their relationship moves on leaps and bounds.

I love how the author didn't throw the menage at us. The slow build up was brilliant. Would really love to read more by this author. Great sexy quickie:)
