Haven't all of us read a book "for Dummies"? There must be a million different topics out there. I picked this one up to see if there was anything in it that might help me. Anything new or anything I had not already heard of. Having had acid reflux for years, I already know my triggers and also know what to do for the pain and suffering when it comes on. However I am always ready for a shortcut or possible new remedy.

Well researched and knowledgeable, this book I would recommend more for the novice - the person just starting out with acid reflux. There is valuable information in this book, some that it took me years to learn, but nothing new to add to my heartburn solutions.

Many graphs, easy to read and pertinent information in a very consumable format.

Good information for those who want to understand more and don't know much about the issue. If you've had it for a while there is really nothing new.

Totally boring

I bought the book looking for some recommendations about things to eat and it just gave a lot of statistics that I don’t really care about

Very informative. I have a better understanding about heartburn and reflux. Straight forward changes that I have already implemented have made a difference.

No more beer, margaritas, red wine, spaghetti sauce, chili, onions, or garlic. Life is too short for gastro problems!

"Read" in an hour. Got some of the information I needed. What I really need is a diet and cookbook for this topic. I see they exist. I'll donate the book to the public library.
