I received this book from Goodreads First Reads Giveaway.
I tried to use parts of this diet. I found the book to be good and full of useful information. There are lots of books that can be used to follow a diet. I enjoyed reading the story behind the author's diet success. I found the lists provided to be the most useful.
Most of the book explains the benefits of this program, but it gives very little specific information. For example, you are advised to drink a protein shake but not given the type of protein. Save your money.
I knew she was that she was an accomplished actress. I never watched The Sopranos, but thought she was great in Goodfellas. I thought she took a great take on living a healthy lifestyle- I’m not completely sure I could adopt everything she shared as organic as expensive and I cannot give up coffee. But overall, an interesting book. I’m going to attempt her recipes- they seem doable. Not a bad health book.
I liked the encouraging words. I agree with detoxing, remove the toxins. Don't let thoughtless people undermine your determination. I've learned that you can't tell everything to everyone.
I'm not sure about the detox itself for fourteen days. Two days just protein shake, multivitamins, and phytonutrients. I'll see what I can do for two days, on my days off.
If you are looking for a book on how to conduct a two week liver cleanse and what to buy/grow in order to begin clean eating, you will enjoy this. The physical exercise section in the back was decent.
After just having binged the Sopranos after 20 years, I couldn't get enough of the doctor! this book has a lot of useful imformation about how we live and how to bring the 3rd chapter of life in on a positive note!
