As cheesy as it can be, I still like this series. The plots are simple and the characters are not too irritating. That makes for good reading in my book. I have been enjoying Jenny's tales in boarding school much more than the new version of Gossip Girl.

I ehard a rumor that there might be a GG spinioff on TV- I'd really love to se the It Girl series be made into a show. I like the characters so much more than anyone on GG.

Fire? Jenny was known to have set the fire on the barn, so she's going to get expelled from her school, Waverly Owls. But someone bailed her out, someone paid the barn owner to lie and say that one of the cows set the barn on fire. But who? Jenny is out to search for the 'who'.
If I were to put myself in Jenny's shoes I would not think of boys that saved her. I would th

TEMPTED begins exactly where the last book, LUCKY, left off.

In the beginning of this novel, Callie Vernon is relentlessly lusting after Easy Walsh. The only thing stopping her from having Easy is the fact that he can't stand her. After he found out that she and Tinsley Carmichael tried to get Jenny Humphrey expelled, he wanted nothing to do with her. Callie knows that Easy is her prince. As the annual Halloween Ball approaches, Callie must decide on the

I've always been enthusiastic with this series, but this one took me longer to read than any of the others. Possibly, my enthusiasm is waning. Why? So much happens in each book -- and yet with this book, the sixth in the series, well into the third year of publication for The It Girl books ... and we've made it to the first week of November. Eight weeks into Jenny Humphrey's sophomore year of high school. Truly, Alloy has taken the mandate to keep characters in high school as long as possible to ...more

Overall this one was pretty good not as good as the last one but definitly a few twists in the plot. Some friendships falling apart, mending, and relationships breaking up and making up. A nice dose of the drama :). What will I do when I finish this series? :O oh no!

The It Girl series is a guilty pleasure of mine. It is, by any means, not a worthwhile read at all. It doesn’t grow you or challenge you or and it’s only mildly entertaining, but it contains very fast and hollow drama and gossip that I can no longer have in my personal life, therefore need to consume through fiction.

Tempted is the sixth book in the series and what I like and what I imagine other people won’t like about it is that it is a lot more tame then the other books. It does a lot more wra

Yes, I am still continuing with this 10 book series. And yes, it definitely requires perseverance, but with fastidiously written books like these, you don't need to try you just need to read. Tempted is the 6th novel in the It Girl series and by far the most surprising. The book starts with Jenny not being expelled becaue someone saved her, and especially taking into consideration that cows took the blame for setting the Miller Farm on fire. Many events lead to Jenny stealing Tinsley's spotlight ...more
