Chinese food that is fairly easy to prepare if you have the ingredients . Good instructions about how to do things.

This is my favourite of my Chinese cooking books. It's concise, easy to follow, not too complicated and will build up a decent array of techniques in stir-frying. Recommended for the curious cook.
