This was like coming home to that one place that meant the most to you— that one place where you knew that you were accepted for who and what you were and loved for it.

My Review:

I adored this couple and second chance romance storyline. Ali and Sebastian had fallen in love as teenagers but were forced apart by Sebastian’s monstrous father. During the final pages of the first book in the series, Sebastian and three other returning wounded veterans, who had bonded during boot camp, f

Protecting the enemy is an improvement from the first book, but still, it was mediocre. Each book kept improving as the authors seemed to get more comfortable with their characters. This book was easier to read than the first book, but I wasn't a big fan of the story. Ali was always getting caught when she was snooping around by Sebastian and I was wondering how someone else hadn't caught her on the act. I don't believe that Sebastian ever said to Ali the real reason he broke up with he

Five Amazing Stars

I was just completely thrilled to accept this amazing second book of the most exciting series, The Protectors. Written by two of my all time favourite writers, Samantha Chase and Noelle Adams. This amazing book is Is Sebastian's story.

Ali never really never had a the best job. She assisted and planned. It wasn't the best employments, she always wished for something more exciting. When I was just starting my course in university, everything changed for the wor

Both of the books in this series have been quick, short reads. We were introduced to four Marine's: Levi, Declan, Sebastian and Cole in Duty Bound. This book is Sebastian's story.

Sebastian has always felt like an outsider when it comes to his family. He's an only child and has no interest in wearing a suit or taking over the family business, which disappoints his father. When he returns from duty, he opens a security/investigation firm with the rest of the guys. He's hired by one of his father's

Emotional and romantic at the same time are the two words i can describe the second book of the Protectors series!

The series follow a group of friends an ex military guys in the lives back at home and in the unexpected events of finding the true love!

Book two is the story of Sebastian and Ali. Their story stars a long time together when they were teenagers and felt in love. Two people from almost two different sides

Past, present and future all play a role

Sebastian and Ali are great together. I loved the play on their background and how it had a role in their relationship previously, currently and in the future as the epilogue showed. They are two excellent characters that are relatable and so caring.

I enjoyed meeting the four men in Levi and Harpers story. Sebastian’s story brings the four men back and we get to see how the new company is doing, but also see how Declan helps out Sebastian! As with all SC

Loved this book. After all this time Sebastian can't believe he's seeing the only women he ever loved.
It broke him when he said goodbye. He just didn't have any other choice.
He and his friends decided to come together after serving there country, and protect people further.
He's acting as bodyguard to a friend, and Ali is the event planner for said friend.

Ali can't believe after a little spying around the house the one man she never stopped loving Sebastian Maxwell catches her. She is at a los

Sebastian is a handsy one, "he slid his hands down until both of them were cupping my bottom. “Have you appropriately shifted gears to kissing me yet?” Sebastian could be so sweet, “sweetheart, we can go back to my hotel if that’s what you really want. but I’m telling you now, that I want you for myself for much longer than tonight.” I loved this book, I fell in love with Sebastian.

Samantha and Noelle have me hooked. I love how they took the series and changed up. Each story gets better. As always I can picture the characters and the scenes. This series definitely needs to be made into a movie series.. I am loving this series, cant wait for more..

I have so many thanks to Both Samantha Chase and to Noelle Adams for their amazing series called The Protectors.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Re-release August 5, 2017

Protecting the Enemy was originally published as Honor Bound. It has since been expanded, revised, and re-edited.

Twelve years ago, I gave up the love of my life because my family made the relationship impossible. Now that Ali has come back to me, I'm not going to give her up again.

It's been years since I've seen her, and I know she's hated me all this time. I never expected to see her working as an event planner for one of my father's business

Protecting the Enemy was another great re-read. I really enjoyed Honor Bound, the original book, and the edits and revisions and additions weren't as apparent to me in this one, but maybe because I enjoyed the original as well (the first book in the series has gotten an update as well and I enjoyed it much more once it had). It was another fun read from these two authors.

Ali is not where she always thought she would be. She has had to get a jo

Finding Love Again! This is the second book in The Protectors Series. This is Sebastian Maxwell and Ali Cooper's story. This is a combination of enemies to lovers and second chance romance, so if those are the type of genres you like this story is for you.

Protecting the Enemy is book 2 in Samantha Chase’s Protectors Series and is a story of second chances.

Sebastian Maxwell has led a privileged life… he was born into wealth but hates everything that his family stands for. He spurned his father and the family business by joining the Marines. He is back home now and has begun a security company with three of his Marine buddies.

Ali Cooper is from a blue-collar family who lived paycheck to paycheck… the antithesis of Sebastian’s family. In fact, she

A great addition to The Protectors series. While I wouldn’t necessarily put this in a romantic suspense category like book one, because I didn’t feel any suspense or danger involved in the storyline, it definitely stands out in the romance category. I absolutely loved Sebastian and Ali’s story. I’m a sucker for second chance romances, and Samantha and Noelle hit all the feels with expert aim.

3 1/2 STARS!

Former high school sweethearts reunited! There's a hint of danger, a sweet reunion, and pulling of heartstrings here and there. I had a good bit of trouble connecting with this couple in the beginning, but once they got through some of their issues, they became a little more open and easier to get a feel for.

Sebastian Maxwell has never forgotten his first and only love. Family pressure forced him to leave her behind, but she's never been far from his mind over the years. Now he's bac

The book is second in the series and is in my opinion better than book one.

Sebastian Maxwell has always lived in the shadow of his name. His father wants him to be something he's not and Sebastian can't seem to find his way out.

Ali Cooper is an ex girlfriend of Sebastian who has a problem with the Maxwell company having screwed her father and many others out of their pensions and 401k's. So when she gets the opportunity to sneak around a house that may hold answers she gets excited. Though she

This is the second in the series and it is keeping the five stars going! I thought I wouldn't like Sebastian because I expected him to be a rich, uptight, pretty boy who just wanted to flip off his rich family, but WOW I was wrong! There is so much more to him than you can imagine and every turn of the pages gives you another layer of him to love.
