Spirit Trap

Dutch Curridge #3

by Tim Bryant

SPIRIT TRAP not only reunites the Fort Worth detective with his friends Slant Face and James Alto, it also brings back favorites like Ruthie Nell Parker and Verbal and Noble Whitaker. There’s a dead family in a small country house, a blind man working in a gun store, a vindictive dancehall owner and a wild animal waiting at the edge of the woods. All have one thing in common, and it isn’t their love for the Texas two-step.

Reviews

[Kim Whitley-Gaynor]

I like books written from the perspective of a road weary, tough cop. This one fit the bill. I did think there were too many details (people's name, bars, bands, etc) in the storyline and I found I had to mark pages to go back and answer the question, "Now who is this person?" Otherwise, a fast-paced story with a surprising ending.

The best time I have ever had with dead bodies. See my full review at www.lurid-lit.com.
