He often provides and mentions well nationalities, birth, and death dates for persons and etymologies and pronunciation guides for technical terms. Guide to Science, the tripartite set Understanding Physics, and Chronology of Science and Discovery exemplify these books.
Asimov, a long-time member, reluctantly served as vice president of Mensa international and described some members of that organization as "brain-proud and aggressive about their IQs." He took more pleasure as president of the humanist association. The asteroid 5020 Asimov, the magazine Asimov's Science Fiction, an elementary school in Brooklyn in New York, and two different awards honor his name.

This is not live up to the standard of Asimov's other short stories. It's still an entertaining quick read, but the ending was a bit of a let down.

Collected in Nightfall and Other Stories. At a 20 year college re-union, Polen, an animal behaviorist, discovers due to an occupational hazard he can "read" the thoughts of his friends. Most of this character driven story is very uncomfortable to read, as the friends prod and poke at each other's achievements since leaving college. I liked the clever ending but for the most part this was really not fun to read.

A very very very interesting talk on Theology....however I feel this story failed to execute what it was Asimov was trying to say.

Not a very good story. Asimov said his original title was to be “King Lear Act 4 Scene 1 36 to 37”. So of course I had to look it up. “As flies to wanton boys are we to the gods, / They kill us for their sport"
