Most informative series I've read yet.

5 stars not only this book, but the entire series. Gripping informative and real. The author combines Christian views historical fact and realism.. into a fast paced set of books that cannot be put down. I'm going directly to amazon to find more written by Mr. Goodwin. Thank you Mr. Goodwin for giving this reader an eye opening look at America and the path were on.

An amazing end to and amazing story. Taking this journey with some amazing characters was concluded in the best way possible. The author did a fantastic job in the first two books with character development. This book kept you on the edge of your seat the entire time wondering what was the destiny of these characters. I'm extremely glad I read this story and hope in the future the author continues this format in his next set of books.

This review will have spoilers and I hopefully blur them out for you unless you want to see them.

This is the conclusion of the three part series which I found a little disheartening. The author wove a decent story with real-life events. I felt like after two and a half books, there was no reason to speed up paint drying any faster with the character development. But yet here we are.

Overall, very good editing. The editor even used a small 'g' in god, where is was very apt to use. The series was a decent read from start to book three mid way. Then I don't know what happened with the author. He lost a page of notes, printer was running out of paper, I just don't know. There are problems and I'm not so sure he isn't planning a book four. Who knows?

I couldn’t even get through book 1. I gave this book one star just so that I could review it.
Kevin Pierce is one of my favorite narrators of all time and not even he could save this book! I was rolling my eyes within five minutes. I am not Republican Democrat or libertarian I don’t really know where I fall. Probably a lot of my ideas do lineup more with libertarian. I am a registered gun owner who carries. I’m also a tiny bit of a prepper. What I am not is religious. I am an atheist but I do live by the Golden rule. I can imagine that Mark, the author, is a southern preacher in an area where not a single person of color has ever felt safe. He’s also probably never been close with anyone who works 2-3 jobs to survive. Do yourself a favor and skip this series. I can’t even get through an hour of this crap.
If I wanted the Bible to be read to me line for line I ’m sure I could buy that on audiobook or go to a church!
If I’d paid for this I’d be asking for a refund!
Really the book gets zero stars!
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Hate when I finish

As usual I was not disappointed in this series! I enjoyed it both reading & listening to the Audiable version. Mark Goodwins writing being brought to life by Kevin Pierce the narrator is a delight. The two of them bring the whole thing together perfectly. It has been proven that my enjoyment is increased because of Mr Pierce. Due to health issues I am not always able to “read” for as long as I want, so many times I am forced to put text to read, computer voices just don’t cut it, in dragging me further into the world of words. So thank you for sharing both your talents with us all. It truly is a blessing.

The final installment of the Economic Collapse trilogy took a bit of a dark turn. The story picks up immediately after book 2. The Kentucky militia has to regroup after their devastating losses in Pikeville. President Howe decides to launch an EMP attack against the coalition, but the coalition strikes back harder than Coalition leader Paul Randall was prepared for. The story wraps up with an entirely new and unrecognizable political landscape.

This book really makes you think!

The worst case scenario is the breaking apart if the United States. Foreigners laying claim to our land and UN peacekeepers is also a worse case scenario. This is a time of warning. We all need to pay attention. Too often fiction can become real. Prepare and pray.

What a case for the Constitution and Bill of Rights as the Founders saw it! Great story here. Kept me engaged all the way. This was a great ending too... Faith, Hope and Love were weaved all through the book. Thank you for writing it!

Thought provoking

The series made me think of what if? The different scenarios of how a collapse of the US could occur and why seem realistic.

Having only read #3 of the series, I can only review this book. The Title and others glowing reviews prompted me to give it a read. The initial hook of the beginning was promising and kept me glued to the unfolding, then however, for me, page after page became tedious minutia of little advancement. I think I was looking for more of what had caused (the sickness) of that once "Last Great Experiment" of the Country called America. I get it that the Economic collapse and E.M.P. detonations brought about the conditions for this story. I just wanted more of an epic feel, perhaps with the touch of a Tolstoy read. Russia was once great and very well depicted, therefore the fall and rise from the ashes of America needs that kind of treatment... oh well, perhaps I will have to write it.

Civil War breaks out between The Coalition States, those states that rejected the Federal Government's tyrannical rule, and the Federal Government itself resulting from the financial meltdown. The Coalition's militia wages war against the illegal and overbearing federal government who's first act was to repeal the second amendment. From there it escalated to imprisoning and ultimately killing U.S. countrymen to fulfill their goals of greed and power. Sounds very melodramatic, but how far is it from the course we are following today? Excellent read for those with an open and patriotic mind. Food for thought. "In the end, it was the low information voter that destroyed America...Mark Goodwin"

A great ending to a great series. In this third and final book of The Economic Collapse series, we see the story come to a conclusion with some major battles.

Although a work of fiction, this book is a scary look forward to what comes when liberalism and the victim mentality is allowed to flourish unchecked.

Goodwin includes many Bible verses and discussions, but sticks to a much more general version of Christian Theology. It doesn't alienate certain Christian groups like some of these books. In this book, we deal with the final days of the internal US war. We get a view of what the US could look like and what desperate measures might have to be takes to win a domestic war.
