Not a bad book for a toddler interested in construction work... even if it's basically an advertisement for Tonka truck toys.

I like how some of the words are replaced with little symbols (e.g., a bulldozer). That way I can encourage my 3-year-old to read along with me.

My special needs teen age son likes anything and everything to do with vehicles he enjoyed this book, but it was difficult to read out loud. It is a 'Picture clue' book which means that instead of certain words there are pictures of the vehicles. If you aren't familiar with certain construction vehicles you will not be able to read this out loud to your child. Over all it was a good book for a beginning reader, especially for those that enjoy vehicles. But my rating was based on level of interest and storybook.

I really like this Power Reading series. Its great for emerging readers. Books are not too long so they are good for toddlers too.
