This was a pretty cute short story. It's basically all the Half Moon Hollow men ending up in mega-store Valentines aisle in the middle of the night of Fab 13th looking for gifts for their women. It's humorous and fun but there's not much to outside of being a humorous glimpse into the Half Moon Hollow men. If you like Harper's Half Moon Hollow books I'd recommend it...not so much if you haven't read the series as it wont make much sense. :D

As much as I love all the Half Moon Hollow vampires, I have a special place in my heart for creeper Dick Cheney, especially his tshirts. It was fun to see all the guys meet up, stressed over Vday. :)

This was an adorable little short read set it he Half-Moon Hollow world. As probably the first time we get to watch all the guys of this world interact on their own, it was fun to watch. I was able to read this one for free online in the author's blog which a few people have linked to. As a serious completionist, it felt good to check off all the short stories between books. In the real world, if you don't want to read this one, you aren't missing anything critical, but you are missing some silly fun.

Half-Moon Hollow #2.6
Special Valentine's Day Half-Moon Hollow Story by Molly Harper
This was a freebie on Molly Harper's blog. It is hilarious and written in third person. It takes place on February 13 at 2 AM in the greeting card aisle at the super-mega-grocery store. It starts out with Gabriel Nightingale, Jane's husband, and slowly but surely adds all of the male leads for all of the various Half-Moon Hollow and Jane Jamison books! I laughed out loud through almost the entire story. It's a very quick read and only took me about 10-15 minutes.

Molly Harper Series Reading Order:
Read:
1. Jane Jamison Series
2. Half-Moon Hollow Series
3. Naked Werewolf Series - This series is set in the same universe as the previous two, though it does not have an actual tie in until the end of the third book, “How to Run with a Naked Werewolf”. This series does not need to be read in conjunction with the previous two in order to get full enjoyment out of it, but the big reveal at the end of Naked Werewolf #3 will be enhanced greatly if you read the previous two series in order before reading it.
a. How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf - Naked Werewolf #1

Finding all 5 male vampires together (Gabriel, Dick, Cal, Collin, and Sam) at the HMH version of Walmart the night before Valentine's Day - because they either forgot or have messed up their gifts - has to be one of the funnier setups in the entire JJ/HMH combined series.

“Valentine’s Day,” Dick sighed. “It’s a freaking minefield of emotion.”

Molly Harper found a treasure today and shared it with her readers. This quick short story is filled with laughs for the reader (not for the male vampires) as they struggle to save themselves the day before Valentine's Day. Cards are few and inappropriate. They are running out of gift ideas and they are running out of time.

This story is only a couple pages long. It features most of the men from Half Moon Hollow accidentally meeting in the grocery store the day before Valentine's day, desperately looking for a card and gift. There is a fight for a copy of a video. Pretty funny.

This is an awesome funny short. It includes all the men, so far, in the Half Moon Hollow series, well the vampire men and it is wonderful to get this cameo of their personalities, like old dear friends.

Uber short story from the Half-Moon Hollows series available on Molly Harper's blog. Very cute but very short, kinda felt like a tease and really makes me impatient for the next book.
