This book really opens your eyes about seeing the truth about yourself and your life. I've read many other books on similar topics, but this one hit home. Now I get it. Excellent principles to guide your thinking and your choices, improve your relationships and happiness. My #1 self-help resource. I re-read this regularly to keep me on track.

Wonderful lines from "Beyond Positive Thinking": "The universe is like a river. The river keeps on flowing. It doesn't care whether you are happy or sad, good or bad; it just keeps flowing. Everyone has trouble staying positive from time to time. We all have trouble getting out of our ruts. This book is an excellent book to help you break those habits, to help you make new habits of staying positive. I have shared this book with a few friends that were really in a funk. After finishing this book, they were able to make adjustments and change their lives around. Even if you aren't in a rut, this is a good book to help you set priorities and achieve goals. Read it!

This is the second of four books I have on my shelf to read from daily. The book is more poorly written than anything I love. But this ideas in it will change your life.

Every success book has some version of this formula. They all have it because, face it, it works! This is the key to success. It's not easy. It's not quick. But it works. Try it!

I like the way Robert shares his way to do affirmations... He adds 'I choose to', it works for me!

- I choose to feel comfortable taking calculated risk. :D
- I choose to allow myself to make mistakes.
- I choose to enjoy making corrections.

i can never explain what this book is about , it s a life changing in so many ways and levels , it doesn t say that you have to do this or that to get what you want , it s all about you thinking for you and deciding for your own good .

I read this book twice in two different years. This book touches everything in human-beings from mindsets to emotions. It is all about Psychology and how to design your life.

I love so much what the author said and I believe it is true ''When you desire nothing from another, some people will have difficulty relating to you because they can’t control you. Yet this is the true road to emotional freedom and self reliance''

I recommend this book for people believe in Independence and emotional freedo

Eye-opening. This taught me how to perceive my life as something completely within my control. We all have the power to make a change in ourselves, to find happiness. Because true happiness is only to be found within ourselves.

I will definitely re-read this over the course of my life, as I will with the rest Robert Anthony's work.

I'm not sure what to say, because when I read the book I was waiting for the formula. There is no formula, except a gradual change of the mind that brings you change in your success. The takeaways from this book:
1. Stop blaming others.
2. Believe before seeing.
3. Nothing on the outside can make you happy.
4. Enjoy today.
5. Everything is a choice.
6. Act on a deadline.
7. Setbacks are temporary.
The author does well to stress on all of these points through the chapters, and it makes for very en

A book that is reminiscent of the Secret. There are activities to do that will really make a difference in bringing the lessons of positive thinking, positive action to life. There is technical medical terminology in the book but it is well explained. I will say i did get a bored in the middle but overall it was an excellent book making the point that without positive action positive thinking is ineffective

It was a struggle it had some good points. He kinda references God in a round about way by saying you are connected to the universal creative mind. I think he said it like that to sell more books including those who are not Christen

I had a lot of conflict going on while reading it but got some nuggets from it.

If you are a positive thinker, or like to 'think' of yourself as one, this is a must read! Dr. Robert Anthony takes you to the core of 'you' and beyond. He approaches the term 'positive thinking' and takes it ten steps further. This book should help answer some of your problems with life. READ READ READ

A book following the lines of many others that speak about belief in yourself, optimistic thinking being the center of all the control you have over the world around you, and positive affirmations.
I better alternative, at least in my opinion, is Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz.

This book was like meeting with a guidance counselor off of a 90's sitcom. Just as corny and just as fake as the title. Ironic to be negative about a book on positivity but Anthony gives me no reason to think otherwise.
