Animals. Separate, they behave. Together, they’re depraved.

Warped is the fifth book in the Blended Series, start with book one. This story brings together four of the characters in a crazy, emotional way. Blended is a perfect title for this series. You get some twisted, some darkness, a splash of humor, shake of kinky, and blend it up. Dive into the perfect mix of flavors.

I really didn't know how I'd feel or connect with all four characters in one jump. Having the insight and knowledge from

This is the story of Essie, Devon, Willow and Ren and they each narrate parts of the story.

We begin with Essie's point of view. Essie is person I felt I knew the least going in. The more I learned about Essie the more I loved her. She is struggling financially with debts and a low paying job, needs to find somewhere to live because her parents are moving to Florida and has a falling out with best friend Willow which leaves

Warped is book #5 in the Blended series. This series should be read in order as each book intertwines with the last.

Warped has POV's from Devon, Essie, Willow and Kieren. Devon's POV is heartbreaking. The pain, darkness and loneliness he lives with day to day not to mention the hate and anger he feels toward his mother. He takes most of that anger out on the ones he loves. In his mind, he's doing it for them. So they do

Warped, the 5th book in the Blended Series, was truly an emotional joining of 4 characters that we thought we knew. Having already been introduced to Devon, Essie, Kieren, and Willow I wasn't sure how this book would keep my interest - silly me!
Essie was the least known character, and really only mentioned through other's stories. Not what I was expecting at all, Essie may be my 2nd Favorite character (LOVE Clover). She had a lot on her

I don't know where to start. This book follows intimately the lives of Willow, her cousin Essie and two of the Mason boys: Kieren and Devon.

Willow had the typical upbringing, mom, dad, older sister and brother with her being the "oops" late in life child. Essie is an only child who longed for what Willow had even if she didn't/can't verbalize it: siblings. Devon and Kieren Mason are the oldest sons of a police officer fath

Yet another amazing installment in the blended series! A little darker and a bit manic...all the things that our main character is feeling; pouring onto these pages make this a spectacular read! Devon is all kinds of messed up and his past with Essie is sitting heavy on his mind. The two make the sparks fly when they throw caution and Willow to the wind and give in to their hearts. I feel so deeply for Devon it's hard to separate yourself from his plight. Great read! ...more

5 Amazing stars from me.

Warped kept me on my toes, reading through two train rides and a night to come to the enlightening epilogues.

Warped for me seemingly ties up one generations story while opening a new pathway for the younger generation. A story told from four individuals, four separate entities who all sounded different. The author is a master, and this clearly shows as we are able to differentiate whether it's Devon, Ren, Essie or Willow speaking.

It was enlightening to see the thoughts

I love this series!

Another fantastic look into the lives of The Mason and Prynne families! Erica outdid herself with this story. I experienced so many emotions while seeing the characters I've come to love struggle, overcome, and grow from experiences beyond their control. I love Devon and Essie. I've also fallen in love with Weston and can't wait to see what the future holds for him and Sage. Fantastic story and I can't wait for more!

Warped 5 stars

One Epic Book!
Sometimes I look at a book and see the page length or that it's part of a series and immediately get overwhelmed and lose interest. This is NOT the case on either issue.
Warped is book 5 in Good Girl series so in order to not be lost, it’s super important to read Good Girl, Wildly Wedded Wife, Widow, & Wanton first.
I am a huge fan of Erica Chilson and here is why. She is so thorough in her writing I can practically taste the salt seeping out of her character’s pores.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is the 5th book in the series, and I would say that it needs to be read as part of the whole story to be fully appreciated. I wouldn't say it is an easy book, as it deals with many difficult issues, but it is most definitely a very real and worthwhile read.

Ms Chilson writes fabulous, long and engaging books - and it is always a little nerve-wracking going in, as it seems a big commitment to read such a long book. W

There is more than one side to every story. In Warped, we finally have Devon, Ren, Essie, and Willow's version. Talk about a roller coaster ride, Warped keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole way through.

Watching what happens from Devon's point f view is heartbreaking. His mental illness fueling his drug use with Essie taking the brunt of the backlash. Willow is raging about Essie, Essie is going through her own trials, Ren can't accept and reconcile the past.

Then you add the twins to th

Erica Chilson does not write in the 3rd person, wanting her readers to be her characters. Therefore, writing a bio about herself, is uncomfortable in the extreme.
