I'm not normally a Non-Fiction reviewer on The Phantom Paragrapher, but every now and again - a non-fiction book will capture my attention and draw me in. It may be through the title or the cover , it may be through the tagline of the book. Tamara Branch's ITGirl4Life was one of those books that drew me in and I am glad I read it and like many other non-fiction books, it will be one that I keep on my e-reader to go back to when I feel the urge as it's a learning type of book and each time you re ...more
I found this to be a fun, quick read. I enjoy being able to pick it up and open it to a random page to find something to either think about or to inspire me. There are many things in this book that I have already tried to teach my daughter, and myself, but there are also a few things that I didn't think to talk to her about already.

I find this to be a great book to start discussions with my daughter. I want her to grow up with more self confidence than I did. I still have low self esteem and man

In the uplifting and invigorating words of author and motivational speaker Tamara Branch, what you believe about yourself affects what you choose, and what you become. In order to be able to take charge of your own life and make a difference, you need to stop depending on the judgement and approval of others and start loving yourself, explore your potential, and value your uniqueness. I was really excited to pick up this book. I don’t read a lot of non fiction but when I do I tend to really like books in the self help section. I for sure really liked this book it was good. Tamara Branch touches on things we all want to hear! I liked the formating and approach for the subjects she wanted to talk about it was nice and simple and straight to the point. This book is also really short you can read it in one sitting, no problem and at the end you feel really good about yourself .

The book that can make you question not only yourself, but the material itself.

This self-help is something really and truly insightful. It can really get down to what really counts and how to go about it. The beginning had a bunch of personal growth that can make almost any type of female reader want to keep reading, want to know the next best thing to having a fullfilling life. It lures you in, like an ice cream truck driving by your house. There are a variety of flavors to choose from, a choic

I was provided with a digital copy of this book in exchange for an honest opinion.

IT Girl for Life is a wonderful read. Full of positivity and energy. The bite-sized lessons are easy to relate to and linger on in the mind long after one has closed the book.

Starting from talking about self realisation and understanding who one really is, Branch moves on to other areas of emotional wellness such as making wise choices and making use of one's hidden talents and creativity. Then we look at my thre

ItGirl4Life is short read that is straight to the point with helpful tools for readers to better themselves. It was an enjoyable read but I would have preferred a little more substance to the book. When I chose

ItGirl4Life proves that great things come in small packages!

The book is a quick and easy read and a ready source of positive affirmations. It’s an inspirational resource for the tween/teen market and a good reminder for the rest of us.

ItGirl4Life is very well written with quick, simple and spot-on philosophy lessons for young women-to-be. These lessons should be shared with all of our daughters, and our granddaughters, and our nieces, and our young friends--and I don't think we should wait till
