Mick is a lone wolf in all ways. He’s left his pack, he’s left his homelands and he’s on the road, footloose and fancy free. Well, at least until he wanders up to a fence and finds a little wolf running his ass off behind it. Mick stops to let the pup out and is stunned to hear the young wolf, Scotty, tell him “no”. Scotty's mate and best friend, Danny, asked Scotty to sta ...more

Biting, licking, sucking, fucking, two-way, three-way, and every which way; there is a LOT of sex here. A lot. A LOT.

Plot, not so much.

The gist: Mick is a lone wolf who left his pack to wonder and search for a home of his own. He finds Scotty and Danny, two betas living on their own after being kicked out by their pack. Danny works to support Scotty and can no longer shift into wolf form. Scotty is more wolf than human; he's an artist, scattered but sweet.

So freaking charming!

What a charming little book! It took me right to my happy place - both times that I read it. It’s a simple story with simple words. Nothing flashy or complicated.

Mick’s gone a’wanderin’. Once he was grown he felt the need to leave his Pack and roam the countryside. He’s been traveling for a while now. One day he happens upon a wolf running in circles behind a fence. He is immediately enthralled by this exuberant pup.

Scott is a cross between Buddy the Elf and Dug, the dog fr

Mick is a lone wolf wandering not really knowing what he's looking for until he stumbles upon a young shifter using a dog/wolf run beside a battered Airstream trailer. In making sure the younger man isn't being hurt or restrained Mick realizes that he may have found someone he wants to make pack. The young shifter, Scott, is absolutely adorable and reminded me heavily of the dragon Tori from Stealing the Dragon, with his innocence and joy for life.

I'm not one for ménage, yet it seems I somehow find myself stuck with some sneaky buys that I did to myself. Funny that.

Anyhoo, the werewolf premise here doesn't really make sense when it comes to the concept of mates and fidelity; it's a little loose with the rules. When wanderer Mick comes across mated Scott and Daniel, his instincts scream at him to protect these two young men without a pack. It just so happens they're open to having another mate. What results is some mild hurt comfort and l
Werewolf ménage, oh yeah!!

Big bad werewolf Mick comes across Scott and Daniel, who are living together in a trailer. Scott and Daniel were kicked out by their pack when they were young and have been living alone since then. Daniel has been trying his best to take care of Scott, but it’s been hard for him. He works as a dishwasher at a bar and he shares his one meal a day with Scott.

When Mick encounters them, he immediately knows he has to take care of these sweet wolves. Daniel has been trying t

Classic knight in shining armor story with lots of cuddling, licking, and loving. Everything was adorable and happened too fast and too perfectly, but still, I enjoyed it.

This book is sweet, sugary, fluffy goodness.

With LOTS and LOTS of sex. Seriously…LOTS.

”What are we doing?” “We’re going to fuck, honey.” Scotty laughed, the sound a touch hyena. ”I love fucking!”

Mick is a lone wolf who’s ready for his own pack. He meets Scotty and Danny who are wolves that were kicked out of their pack for reasons. The two have been alone since they were really young and are barely making it. Danny works hard to support Scotty and himself but can barely keep them fed on his inco
I'm not even going to pretend: I read 'Wolf Run' solely for the werewolf threesome sex.

And I was not disappointed.

Mick is a lone alpha wolf, on the search for a place to call home. He runs into two mated beta wolves, Scotty and Danny, who are barely hanging in on their own. Mick decides that the two need him, and the betas are on board with the plan.

The bulk of the book is fluff. Scotty is a hyper scatterbrain, and his mates give him stability. Danny is a very serious person who has tamped down

It's hard to imagine something this sweet and adorable could also be so hot, but Tortuga manages it. As shifter stories go, this achieved the striking feat of having a bunch of stuff that usually irritates me but I actually enjoyed here, especially the big tough alpha who comes to the rescue of the lost tragi-boys plotline. It helps that the boys are so very horny--Tortuga makes good use of the boys'"wolf" traits to balance their almost childlike naivete with their tendency to go at it like bunn ...more
This was in equal parts charming, sweet and hawt. There's very little plot outside what's revealed in the blurb, and there's a lot of wolf shifter mating going on, with licking and sucking and tasting and kissing and tongues.

But it's also a charming menage romance between two young, lost and abandoned wolf boys, and the Alpha male they've been needing all along.

How two struggling pups find their alpha.

Sweet shifter polyamory with an alpha who finally finds a reason to stop roaming. There's a lot of caring and loving and making sure his pups are happy. In between growling and wrangling his pups there's a nice emotional tug for one of the pups to find himself again. Sexy possessive loving and touching.

This is a story about three somewhat unusual wolf shifters. Mick is a loner; he likes his birth pack but has “itchy feet” and cannot bear to stay so he wanders in search of whatever it is he needs. Danny and Scotty have been kicked out of their birth pack as “useless" bachelor wolves; they are mates with very different needs and abilities, in desperate need of a keeper. With three such interesting characters, I just knew this story was going to be a lot of fun – and I am happy to report I was ri ...more
*Snort* This book is a very typical mm-shifter romance, with a few exceptions.

The amount of times 'baby' or 'sweet boy' (and other endearments) were used, was creepy.
Scotty acts/feels/reads like a child at times, which was creepy when they were getting it on.
The "crisis", really came out of nowhere, since it seemed that Scotty, Danny and Mick became attached quite well. And the mis-communication seemed like a HUGE reach, and a 'crisis' for the 'crisis'' sake.

So Mick -a wanderer- finds Scotty in

Back to back...back to back to front....back to front to back....front to back to back....
An endless string of orgasms- That’s what this was.
I do prefer a bit of plot in my erotica. And this didn’t have much. It was...sizzling though.
And Scotty reminded me of a golden retriever puppy. He sure was cute!
This is definitely one for lovers of sweet shifter stories. It has the added spice of a menage.

Danny is looking after Scotty after they've had to leave their pack. He's doing the best he can but sacrificing himself to keep Scotty safe and give him a home. They are a very sweet couple and very much in love (although at times I found Scotty seemed quite simple and childish). In comes Mick who is looking for a pack of his own and falls for these two wolves.

This is a light story - insta-love, sweet

Very disappointed. I was looking forward to a new, good m/m/m shifter story. I was surprised that I finished this story. I can't even say that there was an actual story in it, many sex scenes, but not really a story. Honestly if I read one more reference to "pup" or "good boy" or other endearments like that, I was going to throw my ereader. I found the whole thing very childish like and the characters immature and lacking any substance.

A refreshing take on a shifter romance.

I’ve read a lot of shifter novels. There’s always the strong alpha, his 2IC beta and sundry others. There’s nearly always a cruel alpha or pack in someone’s history. And, of course, there’s the discovery of Mates and a HEA. Wolf Run has these things but with a difference that’s refreshing.

The alpha hero isn’t as obviously strong as you’d expect. He’s a lost soul searching for a pack of his own. Scott, the beta, isn’t strong and decisive, just one rung below

A review by The Blogger Girls.

Boy, was I excited for this one. Lone alpha wolf meets lone beta wolves and makes them his own pack. Sounds great! And it starts out pretty good! But things get sweet pretty quickly. I ended up having to struggle through this and force myself to not skim.

Things get repetitive mainly with sayings being repeated. Mick constantly reminds us he now has a pack, how unique each guy is and how much he loves them. It was a struggle at times, but I pushed on. There is a lot

From my review: "Some readers might shy away from a m/m/m storyline but it works beautifully here. Wolves are a pack animal and never have I read about two young wolf shifters in need of an older Alpha lover than Scotty and Daniel. Adding Mick Eagleheart to their relationship not only makes sense but its so sexy as well. Daniel has been trying to be an Alpha he's not and he's failing to meet not only Scotty's needs but hi

Wow. I really liked the way this story was written, it appealed to me. There was a story, but..... There was also wall to wall sex of some sort or another. Short and rather sweet, very little angst. Good to read when traveling( which is what I did). And did I mention the sex?

The writing wasn't good at all but there was so much porny puppy smut and adorable moments that I quite enjoyed this.
Too much? Too little? Or both?

There certainly was too much of sickly sweet endearments. Even the inner monologues were riddled with "Sweet baby boy", "pup" and "Good boy". Just to mention a few.
Too much creepiness with the too childlike Scotty being sexually active with the older gruff Mike. Yes, Scotty has sex with Danny too, but it's more icky with how Scotty's childlike behavior seems to trigger arousal in Mike. It seems like the more Scotty acts like a 5-year-old the more turned on Mike gets

Wolf Run by author B.A Tortuga has the story of Danny and Scotty. They were kicked out of their pack but remained together throughout. The Manic Monday REVIEW:

3.5-4 stars

Please note: This *IS* a menage story

There is Mick, who’s suffering from a bad case of wanderlust. He left his pack and is on the move, looking for… something. Eventually, he stumbles across an old beat-up Airstream trailer out in the middle of nowhere with a—for a lack of better word—dilapidated dog run. Only it’s a young wolf racing up and down, not a dog. Concerned a fellow shifter might be trapped in unpleasant circumstances, Mick investigates.

Usually I don't bother with menage stories but I had just read the wonderful Just Like Cats and Dogs by the author so I thought I'd give this one a try. I really loved it. I'm a big sucker for those hard-luck stories where a man swoops in and makes it all better so this was perfect. Even though it was short, I felt like we got to know the characters and see them grow some. I think this would be great as a series. The small pack of three is just perfect for adding new members (uh, but just to the ...more

I enjoyed this story. It had as much plot as I expected from reading dozens and dozens of B.A. Tortuga's stories. I liked the characters. I like when an alpha character focuses on taking care of more submissive characters. I wanted to read something that didn't have too much angst and torment for the characters. This one had some hurt-comfort, but was more of a sweet read than anything else. "Sweet" in that the protagonists cared for each other, not "sweet" in the bedroom door closed sense. Ther ...more
While this was a quick read, it was very special. I was talking earlier in our book group how I would have like to have the dvd special features that would have explored the back stories of Mick's pack and Danny and Scotty's pack. While the absence of it didn't mean that the story was lacking, I would have like to seen it. I also hope to see more of these three wolves as we continue this pack story.
Ok - so there is a little bit of a plot hidden among the sex. And the sex was decent. What made me struggle was the "pups", "boys" and other diminutives that made Mick's interactions with Scott seem almost inappropriate. Scott acted like a child and was treated like one. If you can get by that, the rest is sweet, though Daniel is sad.
