I've been intent on trying this genre for a while now and when I saw this blurb, I jumped on it because it was intriguing. Now maybe I'm having an off week because this is the 4th book that I enjoyed but didn't love, so I'm blaming the full moon.

The plot was not bad, don't get me wrong, but I felt that I was missing a little information, but since this is the only book I read in the series, I'll blame that. Kourtney and Logan are reunited after 2 years. In the meantime, Logan has figured out that Kourtney was his fated mate. He promised himself when she returns, that he'll make her his. What he didn't expect was the fact that she came back and brought him a precious gift, a daughter. But she also brought danger to his doorstep in the form of a dark wizard, who is determined to end her and their daughter. Together, with Logan's pack they make sure both of them are safe and sound. When dust settles the only thing that is left to do is to make sure the HEA happens sooner rather than later.

Overall, this was a nice read and I'll be back because despite this not being a WOW read for me, I'm sure the next one will (hopefully) be a hit.

Unexpected baby. Wolf shifting cowboy. Witches. This book features my favorite Kelmount. Logan is the youngest son and it shows in his sense of humor. When Kourtney shows up with his daughter asking for protection Logan gets serious and quick. This is a quick tale of love and intolerance. I loved it.

This is book four of the Wolf Ranch series and the main characters are Logan Kelmount, a wolf shifter, and his former girlfriend Kourtney Daniels, a witch of the Lincoln City coven, who left just over two years ago and who he hadn’t seen since. Logan hadn’t realised at the time he first slept with Kourtney, that she was his fated mate, only figuring it out after she left. Now she has come back to the ranch, hoping he will take her in and with a little bundle of joy he knows nothing about! They have a daughter between them, called Emma, who is fifteen months old, and it is the danger from a certain person in her coven, which has forced her to leave her previous life. Floyd Hurst is a powerful witch and has suddenly started spouting hate speech about mixed blood in the coven, He is a purist and doesn’t like the fact Kourtney has had a child with a wolf shifter. He wants Emma dead and is willing to take her from Kourtney and he has managed to gain a large part of the coven as supporters. When the current head of the coven retires shortly, it is thought he might take over and that would be too dangerous for Kourtney and Emma to stick around.

Logan is shocked to find out he has a daughter he was never told about and that he as missed the birth of and so much of her life already! Kourtney gets the chance to speak to him and tell him about her situation and why she didn’t tell him at the time of her pregnancy and he slowly has to forgive her. He falls in love with Emma immediately, as do all of his siblings, their mates, and his mother. He knows she is his mate and lets her know that as well and the two spend time together, getting to know each other again, as well as running in their animal form. Kourtney is a witch but is also able to shift into an animal form. I presume a cat, as it isn’t quite clear! The more he bonds with Emma, the more he wants to protect her, even with his life if needed. The sudden appearance of the powerful witch on the ranch, gives everyone a shock as he just teleports straight in. His magic is much more powerful than Kourtney expected and she is able to cast a spell to protect Emma, but they weren’t quite so lucky. Her sister is not much use, neither is the coven when she asks for help. It seems like it will be up to Logan, Kourtney and the rest of the pack to protect Emma from this dark witch! Logan has quickly accepted Kourtney and Emma into his life and will do anything for his fated mate and child, with hopefully many more to come! I have loved the adventures of the Wolf Ranch series, and it’s always a bittersweet moment for me when a series concludes… but what a fantastic closing we got!

Family Claim brings two lovers back together when a vile threat is leveled against their daughter, a daughter Logan didn’t even know existed but is totally in love with and devoted to her protection now. Kourtney made choices, perhaps not the wisest ones but the ones that felt right at the time. The love and passion she’s always felt for Logan haven’t changed one bit, but now there is someone out to destroy her family, to harm her daughter and nothing comes before protecting Emma.

We’ll get to catch up with the previous couples, and secondary characters that brought this series alive while watching Logan and Kourtney reconnect as they fight for their daughter’s life. The action is fast-paced, the villain particularly vile, and the sizzle between this couple is off the charts. Family Claim is a well-written, engaging paranormal romance that will draw you in until the final page. If you haven’t yet read the series, I’d definitely recommend that you go back to the beginning and enjoy yourself in this world.

Kourtney and Logan . . .

Kourtney, a witch member of the Lincoln City coven, and Logan had a brief fling and then she left him. They have had no contact for more than 2 years, and she never told him she was pregnant and had given birth to his daughter Emma.

Now Kourtney is running from danger from Floyd Hurst, a powerful evil witch who believes only full-blooded witches should be allowed in the coven and all other should be killed. So he is coming after Emma to use dark magic to kill her and they need Logan’s help. Will Logan and the pack be able to protect them from the evil witch coming after his daughter? Can the vulture shifters that join the fight beside the pack help move them toward victory, especially when they distract Hurst so that Kourtney can call forth the last bit of her power to send him to Hecate, stripped of power and forced to stand before the witch’s tribunal for the crimes he’s committed? And will Logan tell Kourtney that she is actually his fated mate?

Lots of action in this story line, so you won’t want to miss it. See if Floyd Hurst gets what is due him for his cruelty.

Logan and Kourtney known each other long time and she is also Bailey's BFF and a long time visitor of their ranch and the last time she visit their attraction and chemistry is so strong that they couldn't help themselves and finally Logan know that Kourtney is his fated mate but he didn't say it to her and for Kourtney she felt the full towards Logan after their time together and left she thought that it's only one sided what she felt for him and when she find out that she is pregnant she didn't contact Logan and tell that shes having his baby..But everything change when one of the witch want her baby dead,she needs help fast and she need Logan's help to save their daughter..This is suspenseful,action pack,steamy with lots of drama and surprises..well done!.

It's been over two years since Kourtney had returned to the ranch. When she arrived, Kourtney was unsure if she would have been welcomed since she was holding a surprise.

Logan had been away from the ranch, but when he got home, he felt uneasiness in the air. Seeing the car park, Logan realized his mate was there. When he walked in his surprise and heart grew as he soon learned he was a father.

Logan and Kourtney's story is sweet, loving with danger lurking as someone from Kourtney's coven in California was wanting to harm their daughter. Love this story, the strength and heart of the characters and the bond they all have.

Family Claim is the fourth book of The Wolf Ranch (Kelmount Pack) series. I throughly enjoyed reading this series. I thought the author did an amazing job of writing the whole series in a way that captivates the reader’s attention. I also thought Family Claim to be both suspenseful and a page-turner. I’m so thrilled that I decided to read all these books to this series. Family Claim follows the story of Kourtney and Logan. I’m so excited to know that Kourtney and Logan end up having a happy ending to where they are mated. I would highly recommend this book series to other readers who enjoy an amazing wolf shifter romance series.

Finally Logan gets his HEA but it came with some snags. Kourtney is unsure of the reception she will receive when she finally comes back to the Kelmount Ranch with a surprise in tow. See, she hasn’t been here in for two years since she slept with Logan but now she comes seeking their protection. Emma is a little gem and won Logan and his family over. Logan and Kourtney our mates and he was going to tell her that the next time she came to visit her BFF Bailey but she never came. Now they must defeat the evil witch that is dabbling in the dark arts to protect Emma and Kourtney. Will they come out victorious?

Family Claim is the fourth and final book in the Wolf Ranch series and I loved it! Kourtney is back at the ranch and not only has she brought a special little surprise for Logan she has danger following and needs his protection. This is a quick read but it isn't missing a thing. From the action, danger, and interesting characters to the page turning storyline this is a great ending to this fated mates, shifter romance. I look forward to reading the next series by this talented author. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Kourtney and Logan had something special but she left. Two years later she returns needing his protection against a pure blood witch who does not like that he is a wolf shifter and he fathered her child, Emma. Loved the characters and happy to see the others from the series return, too. Big decisions, revelations, danger, deep emotions, tight-knit family and more keep you on edge until the very end. Great ending and addition to this series.

The pack, their neighbors and some witch power all come together to fight the evil that comes to the ranch. Great characters with a storyline that flows and keeps the reader engaged.

Decent short read with action and steam....
This was an ok read for me, for some reason I didn't connect with the characters. The storyline was interesting as were the fight scenes and powers that were being used. I feel this could have been great read with a little more effort into the details. However, I did enjoy this short read with steamy love scenes!

It’s not great it’s more of a sweet quick read. I would suggest you read the series in order but you don’t have to. But it’s more enjoyable because you get to know all the characters that are in the series.

Kourtney was like a member of the family. Then she didn’t come around anymore. Now she’s back and hopes the Kelmounts don’t throw her out. She has a secret and the little girl in the back seat needs protection. Will Logan accept Her and help keep his daughter safe? Awesome storyline with danger, suspense and plenty of passion that never died.
