This is an action thriller with plenty of both. It was, for me unfortunately a book of two halves. In the first part I got the impression that the author lacked the experience needed to pack as much into each page as was done. However, the second half (or really the last three quarters of it) more than made up for what came before.
Once the scene had been set Sameer’s writing ability could not be faulted and I was amazed at how much was fitted into the sixty four A4 pages of PDF (the format used

"Victory Blvd." is an exciting piece of action-adventure entertainment. Equal parts fun, sexy, quirky and action-packed, the story never lets up. I found myself flipping pages like nobody's business. And when I got to the end I wanted more! I hope there's a sequel coming, because there are so many interesting story threads. A vigilante who works with her family is something I've never seen before. Reminds me a bit of that old movie "Family Business" with the oddball relationships between the stu ...more

Victory Blvd. is a short thriller by Sameer Ketkar. The author has a background in screenplay writing, and his experience with the movie and television production industry is apparent in this novella. The story reads like an episode of ‘Burn Notice’, minus the explanatory internal monologues, and it is a cheap and easy read packed with action and feel-good vibes.

Los Angeles has fallen into corruption, and its citizens have become disturbingly accustomed to fearing the police as much as they fear

Another "Victory" for Sameer Ketkar

Callie has a secret identity. She's the Vigilante, hell on two wheels as she roars through the streets. Feared by criminals and sought by the police, Callie uses her stunt skills to bring miscreants to justice.

Talented and versatile author Sameer Ketkar offers readers Victory Blvd, an exciting, action-packed short thriller. Given the author's reputation as a screenwriter, it's not surprising to find wonderful, true-to-life dialogue. He also does an excellent jo

QUICK ACTION PACKED WITH A BIT OF HUMOR READ. IT'S AMAZING HOW MUCH CAN BE PUT IN 88 PAGES. I THINK WE ALL SECRETLY WISH THAT SUPER HEROES WERE REAL, I KNOW I DO. I ALSO KNOW THAT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN. IF ONLY REAL COPS WEREN'T SO KEYSTONE'ISH MOST OF THE TIME OR HAVE THEIR HANDS TIED BY THE BAD GUYS. THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THIS BOOK IS, IT LEAVES YA WANTING MORE. I FELT THE SAME WAY AFTER READING BODIES BK#1: STAGED FRIGHT, BOTH WERE REALLY GREAT. I WANT MORE PLEASE! (insert Oliver Twist look here ...more

Quick read for a lazy afternoon. Solid writing. Simple story that was engaging and suspenseful. I got the e-book for free on Amazon, definitely worth it at it's original price. Looking forward to a potential sequel!

I loved 'Victory Blvd'. the whole story pulled me in. For me this was a quick read. The storyline got better and better as it played out. I loved the heroine, Callie. She is a no nonsense kick ass lead. Very smart and has the ability to pull anything off that involves her cause. The characters were all great. Some surprised me. Well written and well executed. A definite add to your tbr list. Highly recommended read.

This short novel was much better than I expected. It pulled me in and kept me reading. An action-packed thriller. Well worth the time it took to read.

Blah

Was getting ready to just abandon the book when I noticed that I was 80% done, so I finished it. I didn't enjoy any of the characters and didn't care what happened to any of them.
