When a massive EMP attack plunges the U.S. into darkness, a catastrophic Category 5 hurricane hurtles toward Florida, leaving chaos in its wake. Survivors must navigate the flooded streets and a lawless society to protect their loved ones. A desperate mother races to find her children, while others band together to face nature’s wrath and humanity’s darkest instincts. As the storm rages and the blackout deepens, survival becomes a fight against time and trust.
Generally don’t expect much from the ninety something series, but this story was told with surprising ideas to deal with the common apocalyptic challenges that always appear after the event. Everyone is very logical about creating solutions I would not have thot possible. I salute the cleverness and humanity with which this book is as written. I’ll look for more from this author. I only leave about 1 review for every 25 books I read.
This book was well written with lots of suspense and excitement. I appreciate that it was only one book in length and not drawn out over a series of books.
