This book follows the story of the main character Justice St. Michael’s. She is 17 years old, soon to celebrate her 18th birthday, and cannot wait to graduate highschool and leave the small town of Fallingbrook. Her and her best friend Moira O’Fhey are bullied in school and have each other to rely on and help one another during these tough times.

Shortly before her birthday Justice wakes in outside, not sure how she got

This book was really good I really want that sequel I throughly enjoyed this book and I am very much looking forward to the sequel. I really liked the characters they were very well written I especially liked Justice and Darien and her best friend Moira. I really enjoyed the story even though one bad thing after another happened that just kept the story exciting. I also really liked how the romance was more of a slow romance and was not really there for

*This Book Was Given To Me By The Author In Exchange For An Honest Review*

This was the first book I have read by new to me author Linda Bloodworth but I doubt it will be the last.

Let me start by saying that the world building and characters in this YA Fantasy adventure are very well done. The 2 main girl protagonist friends are so like you expect best friends to be I have to applaud that relationship.

The story is well paced with plenty to keep readers entertained. That being said, for me persona

Justice St. Michaels is on the cusp of turning 18. She's tall and a little awkward, school is a trial, and she's counting down days to graduation. In the blink of an eye, her life changes. She meets a mysterious guy that is clearly enamored, despite not having ever met her before. Shes's attacked while at school, and defends herself to the detriment of her attacker. She discovers her best friend, Moira, is a witch. Literally. And that she is fabulously wealthy. She is also part angel, and about ...more

I did not finish this book! I really wanted to like this book. The prose and story are interesting; but all the prayers and talk of Gods Plan completely turned me off. I'm not a religious person and don't enjoy reading books with a lot of religion or religious talk. With that being said, I have read similar books and finished them; this was just too much.

First of all, I have to preface this review with the fact that this is the first book by this author and for a first book, it was amazing! I love that she provides the warning at the beginning, because although this is a YA book, I would say it is upper YA/ New Adult. I would not let my 14 year old read this book (yet). This is the first book I have read about angels, though I am a huge Supernatural fan and my brother was obsessed with the Apocrypha and several video games that involved angels, ...more

When I read the blurb for this book, I though it sounds right up my street as I am a big fan of the paranormal. This book is about the life of Justice, giving you a huge dose or angels, vampires, witches, elves and dragons!

The story is packed with action from the start, although I have to admit that I didnt enjoy the beginning of the book very much. The events at the school, even though this is a paranormal, just seemed too far stretched and unrealistic to me, with the sheer amount of violencevw

I received an early ARC of this, and let me tell you, it was fantastic. The friendship between Moira and Justice was perfect, the love between Justice and Darien made me swoon, and the overall magic of the universe was so well written that I really felt as if I was there with the characters. It has been edited some since my last read, so I'll update my review when I get the official copy. But I'm telling you right now, this is the book for you if you like magic, friendship, love, DRAGONS - THAT' ...more

Angels, Demons, Vampires & Elves, Yes Please!!👍

This book was a bit of a mishmash for me. I started reading it then had to stop & check the blurb as I thought I was reading a YA PnR book? The story I was currently reading was about a 17yr old girl, Justice, & her best friend Moira. Justice was in a constant state of hyper awareness due to severe bullying at School, especially by 3 people in particular. It had been going on relentlessly for most of High School!! I

Thank you to the author for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
There is a trigger warning before you start this book, and that area of the book was covered very well, once you get past it it feels like it doesn’t belong to the actual story, it’s like it doesn’t fit into the book.
Don’t get me wrong, you are held from the get go with this book, it’s a different take on angels demons, and elves.
75% into the book it made me cry, but that ending, I am so mad right now, I hope there

This was a really solid start from a new author. I enjoyed getting to know her characters and found the storyline engaging. She is still learning her craft but has masses of potential. I'm excited to find out where the series goes! This should appeal to fans looking for a more grown up Mortal Instruments xx

Good. Enjoyed the story and how it developed. The characters were enjoyable. Just a quick warning if you have issues with violence this isn't the book for you as the opening pages are quite graphic.

So, I was coming into reading this book with an open mind. I really enjoyed this more than I thought I was going to. It started off a bit slow going but then it got good. If you like paranormal/action you should give this a go.
Linda painted a wonderful picture with her words. I will definitely recommend this to others.

I was given ARC for an honest review.

A Raven’s Touch is author Linda Bloodworth’s debut novel into the world of paranormal/fantasy… a world filled with gods and demons, fairies and elves, dragons and wolves, witches and humans.

And vampires.

A world where if good is to triumph over evil…. ‘good’ is going to have to get a little ‘bad’.

I am a relatively new reader to the world of paranormal. It is not a genre I usually indulge in, preferring bullets, bad guys and broads to otherworld creatures and magic. In fact, A Raven’s Touch is onl

Linda Bloodworth has created a very unique world within the town of Fallingbrook that includes Angels, Demons, Vampires, Elves, and even a dragon in a different take on an Angel vs Demon story. A lot of ground is covered in this story with several action packed events happening within just a short few days we find our heroine, Justice along with bff Moira, getting their worlds completely turned upside down. The non stop action was a bit

This is the debut novel for Linda Bloodworth and she did it up right . There are angels, demons . witches . fairies not to mention a dragon or two. Let me introduce to Justice and her best friend Morai . All they want to do is finish high school with out getting bullied anymore and start a new life away from Fallingbrook. But there is more to both Justice and Mora, and that one fateful day will change their lives forever. They find their real identities and now the war has started and they need

So while reviewing this novel I kept in mind a few things. That this is a YA paranormal novel and totally different from the genres I normally read which include, suspense/thriller type novels. I'm not into romance as a genre with a few exceptions and that this story is the first in a series. That bit is important because in this novel we get a lot of foundation building for the main relationship in the story. I'm sure this will help in the novels to come. The story is not a romance but a lot of ...more

This story starts with Justice waking up from a dream, outside her home in her nightwear. Not only that, but she appears to have two 'muffins' growing out of her shoulder blades. She has no idea of what is going on, is afraid to tell her parents, and on top of that, needs to get ready to go back to the hell that is called high school.

A Raven's Touch includes some shocking (violent) scenes in the high school that are necessary to the storyline. So much happens in such a small amount of time, but

I chose this book because reading through the blurb it sounded very much like something I could really enjoy and it fell into my favourite genre. I found the beginning a bit more violent than expected and it moved forward very quickly and this made it a little difficult to really get into, however as the story progresses I did begin to enjoy it. There were a few moments when I felt like we were missing important parts of the story and I had to go back and reread to make sure I didn't miss anythi ...more

One thing I love about reading paranormal books is they allow you to escape to a world that is make believe and adventurous. I had a feeling Ravens Touch was going to be a terrific ride, one that I wouldn’t want to put down, and I was right. I was hooked on this book as soon as I started to read it. This is a great debut novel from Linda Bloodworth. This is a young adult paranormal read.

This is just the beginning of Justice’s journey and adventure. It does end in a cliff hanger. And I can’t wait to get the next one!

This review is hard to write since I don’t want to give anything away at all.

There are a lot of secrets that come out. Justice learns a lot about herself in this book. She’s never really been normal, but she finds out just how special she really is.

I loved this book. It had everything, magic, friendship, romance. I liked all the characters. Justice was great, she was loyal, brave, courageous, and witty. The friendship between her and Moira was beautiful. Its seen from the beginning how they really are best friends. The side characters of Tom and Mr. Joy was really good. I liked the humor they book had. Also, the magic system was incredible. Each character is a different magical being. Justice is an angel. Moira is a witch. Tom and Mr.Joy a ...more

It's action packed with supernatural beings galore. The pace is non stop and once you're finished, it feels like you've been on an epic adventure, with your two best friends, and a rather attractive young man.

I was lucky enough to get to beta read this book. It's one of the best paranormal YA books I've read to date. I love the way she introduces different races of the magical realm and makes each character so relatable. There aren't many stories, at least that I've read, that involve elves and halflings.this book is a must read.

Linda Bloodworth loves chips, like really, ketchup to be exact. Ketchup chips are only found in Canada. Lucky for Linda she lives in Toronto with her husband and three fur babies. In between writing, debating for hours about the Oxford comma, and the misunderstood semicolon; Linda enjoys camping and getting away from the city on day trips.
