I actually enjoyed this book very much. Caldwell's disturbing depiction of a woman's mental illness is something I doubt I will ever forget. This book focuses on a husband's attempts to pick up the pieces of his life after his wife crawls deep into the depths of her own mental illness. It's a very worth-while read.

Good writing, butva little weird for my taste. This might be good for someone who likes psychological drama.
