A playwright and novelist whose books include The Pig Did It, The Pig Comes to Dinner, and The Pig Goes to Hog Heaven, Joseph Caldwell has been awarded the Rome Prize for Literature by the American Academy of Arts and Letters. He lives in New York City and is working on various post-Pig writing projects.
I actually enjoyed this book very much. Caldwell's disturbing depiction of a woman's mental illness is something I doubt I will ever forget. This book focuses on a husband's attempts to pick up the pieces of his life after his wife crawls deep into the depths of her own mental illness. It's a very worth-while read.
