For such a short piece, this story has quite a bit of depth. Interestingly, the focus is not as much on the romance between Jordan and Mario, but more on the way Mario overcomes fear. And he has a lot to deal with, from his early fear of water to dealing with gay bashing after he met Jordan. This resulted in the romance almost dying before it had a chance to take off, so there was plenty of suspense as well. Quite an alluring mix!

Mario is a tough guy, even though he doesn’t see himself that way

I liked this story despite not being entirely sold on the attraction between Mario and Jordan which result pretty much in insta-love. But it was still a nice short and sweet story.

I will be honest, after reading the blurb for Deep Water, I almost gave it a pass. However, I am so happy I gave it a second look. I loved this story. Having successfully overcome his fear of water from childhood to be a swimming champion, he is challenged with another fear. Coming out of the closet to be with the object of his affection.

A beautiful story of redemtion and bravery in the face of adversity. My only complaint is that when these two men finally gave into their sexual cravings for one another, the reade

This was a sweet, warm "fast forward" romance. To be precise, the main storyline wasn't especially unique, but enjoyable enough.

Prompted by a general interest in how life works, she studied biology. She enjoys conversations about genetics and microbiology as much as those about v
