If you're interested in busting through the General Class Question Pool in a week, cramming all the multiple choice answers into your head, then regurgitating them on command to upgrade your license, this book is not for you. On the other hand, if you're actually interested in learning a bit about how radios work, proper on-air etiquette, different transmitting modes, and so forth, then this is a fine book to pick up. It'll take you awhile to chug through, but you'll come out actually learning, instead of cramming.
