Being in love with a fallen, is not an easy thing hide while still residing at the divine hall. Light and dark cannot exist in the same space, but if the angels know and are accepting of it, what does that mean? The number of fallen who oppose Morning Star are dwindling down to almost nothing, not just by death but by surrender. A mysterious text, written in ancient angelic, is placed both in Cam`ael’s hands and protection. It could very well be the answer to the fate of the entire universe and all the beings in it…pending that he can actually read it. Defiance will bring about the true nature of many, and circumstances will turn Starling into one of the deadliest warriors walking. A bounty has been placed on Cam`ael, and an order to capture Starling at any and all cost has been issued. Both Lira’s spirit and Spencer, the Earthbound Seraphim, are missing.
Alliances will be needed as a series of events end up taking a turn for the worst. These are the things of which I do know, and that will come to pass.

Susan Reid

Though she holds a Bachelors in Forensic Psychology and Criminal justice, her passion and interests lie in the supernatural, paranormal, and all things not seen by the naked eye. This fascination results in her love of creating new worlds, memorable characters, and ideas for others to ponder, escape to, and overall enjoy through the power of the written word.
She is a brand new author working to make her mark in the vast literary world. Television is often background noise for her, as Susan loves to spend much of her free time reading, and writing; something she has done ever since she was little. Not having many toys or even cable growing up—(although looking back, she feels that was a good thing in many ways) certainly helped to forge and nourish her imagination and passion for story-telling. She doesn't have any current accolades to mention or a long list of works that she has written, even though she's been writing for many, many years, but that has since changed with the publication of the second novel in her first series. She is very excited to finally be able to share it with the world and so many others who also love a good supernatural, paranormal, urban, or dark fantasy. In her spare time, she loves to watch martial arts movies, cook, bake, paint, make jewelry, and basically attempt just about anything artsy craftsy. Susan can't stand to leave a mess and goes crazy when she can't fix something. She will spend hours trying to fix or resolve some of the most complex of problems and issues.
She is a single mother to two amazing adult children.
The Divinity Saga is her first series, She looks forward to meeting readers and other authors, and even more so, interacting with and making new friends all over the world.

Cameal! Succulent! Incubus! I really liked this book. It had The good Vs. Bad. Angel warriors, demons. All of those things make a great story if you know how to write it. And Susan Reid did. I was really lucky to have won this autographed booked. Again this is one of those books that I refuse to spoil. So I have to leave a ton out. But lets just say that Someone is created, they might be really adorable. :) I loved this and if you love books with biblical characters and action, romance and so much more then this is your book.

Reid has done it again! Immolation is the third installment of the Divinity series and I'm still intrigued. Starling is becoming a fierce and deadly warrior, and an order has been issued to capture her no matter what. I need to stop before I give away spoilers. Although you are left with a cliffhanger, the story flows beautifully and the characters continue to grow. I am anxiously awaiting book 4. Reid is my new favorite author!

Bought the third installment on Amazon, Kindle
I liked the third installment. Although I found a lot of action I found the resolution of two factors in Starlings life forced and not decided. I wanted Starling to verbally make the decisions to the leaders of the Diviners.
Minor character development was interesting. Especially Jaime.
Can't say I found the ending as enjoyable. It was abrupt and once again Ca'mael and Starling are apart....similar ending used in book one and two.
Will I be reading installment four? Yes. I like this series it is unusual and unique.
One note to author: I dare you not to use the descriptive of "smirk" or "smirked" in the next book. While you dialed it down in this book the word is still used too much.

I started the series with the third volume. I was afraid I'd be lost and forced to abandon the attempt. Given the skilled writing and magical storytelling, I felt right at home in volume three.
Susan Reid's Divinity: Immolation: Book Three (The Divinity Saga) is a beautifully imagined and executed work. The third book does end on a cliffhanger. All is not lost. We will be ready when the fourth book is released from its current realm to this one.
