Love at Home, Starring Father
Any normal man can father children in the procreative sense, but it takes a lot more than that for him to be a father. This is a small book about big ideas - about the principles that make an LDS man a real father and his family his admirers. Altogether this is an intriguing book on a subject fundamental to gospel living here and to our eternal expectations here-after. No father who reads it can fail to be inspired and encouraged to do better.

Wow, this author is sappy. And while reading the book, I laughed at how outdated it seemed. Yet, so much of the information was timeless. Living the gospel and loving your family might manifest slightly differently today than in 1976, but at the core, things haven't changed that much.

Quick read and maybe even a reminder of things that I could/should do, but also nice to have a confirmation that I am doing a lot of things right as a dad.

This has to be one of my favorite books on parenting. If only my husband and I could put into practice all that he teaches, my kids would know that they are truly loved.

This little book was a great source of comfort and good advice that helped me through the fathering times. A wonderful example of how to be a father written by one who was one.

This was such a sweet book! To read of a man who honors his priesthood, loves his children and his wife, and is so sincere renews my faith in mankind.
