Life wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. I peaked at thirty, and by the time I was thirty-five, I was divorced, and my ex had custody of our two kids. Reaper is the third book in the new Valhalla Rising MC series by Andi Rhodes. The book is a perfect blend of romance, paranormal elements, suspense, and grittiness. The characters are complex, vulnerable, and resilient, making them relatable and engaging. The beautiful dynamics and mysterious plot unfold throughout the narrative. As their intense attraction grows, they must navigate their feelings while facing threats that put them both at risk. The build up is beautifully crafted. Both are complex and relatable characters. I found it to be very enjoyable read, filled with a rich diversity of characters and intriguing mystery.
What a perfect conclusion to this series. It is extremely well-written, with harrowing twists and turns, romantic moments, and a character-driven storyline.

REAPER is the third and final instalment in Andi Rhodes’ contemporary, adult VALHALLA RISING MC erotic, paranormal, fantasy series. This is Reaper aka Craig Binder, and single mother/ café owner Kyra Thomas’s story line. REAPER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion.
Told from three first person perspectives (Reaper, Kyra, Odin) REAPER follows Reaper aka Craig Binder as he is tasked with protecting single mother Kyra Thomas. As one of Odin’s warriors, and a member of the Valhalla Rising MC, Reaper is living his second life, and in this, he dreams of a second chance at family and love. Protecting Kyra comes with a darkness-Kyra’s past refuses to let go, and our heroine is targeted by an unknown predator.
The world building follows Reaper as he struggles with Odin’s orders to return to Earth. Reaper had never intended to fall in love but Odin and Skuld had other plans, plans that place Kyra in the direct line of fire.

Reaper is the third book in the Valhalla MC series. This is probably my favorite series written by Andi Rhodes because it gives me just enough mythology to grab my attention without detracting from the story. The reader doesn’t need to be knowledgeable about the mythological lore to appreciate the story.
As with all of Andi’s female characters, Kyra is a strong, intelligent woman who takes no crap. She is a single mom of twins and the owner of a failing diner. I really identified with her because I am also a mom of boy/girl twins and have owned my own cafe. I can relate to the struggles of single parenthood while trying to keep a small business afloat.
Reaper is obviously dead so his heart doesn’t beat, but it still has the capacity to love. He misses being a father more than anything else from his previous life.
When Kyra’s ex brings trouble to her diner Reaper and his motorcycle club brothers step in to not only save her life but also her business. Unexpectedly, Reaper’s past life tragically intersects with Kyra’s life.
Strong female characters who are everything but helpless damsels are Andi’s stock and trade, as are bad boys with big hearts who step up to save the day. From page one, where the characters are introduced in a bad situation to the happy ever after on the last page, I was completely enthralled with this story. Not many stories have happy endings when the characters die. Andi indicates this is the last book of this series because the other characters haven’t demanded their stories be told. I hope that one day a character from this series steps up so Andi will have to write another book to feed my craving for mythological romance.

I always had a fascination with mythology and then to tie that into a motorcycle club then in my eyes you are on to a winner. Andi Rhodes does a great job of merging these two themes together where the focus is not on the mythological side but is intertwined into the story.
This is book 3 in the series and although it would be easy to jump into this book as a stand alone, I would advise reading the books as it gives an overall feel for the mc as a whole.
This is a short story that keeps you on your toes. Although this is a short story it doesn’t lose anything as the story flows nicely, it is not rushed and helps to develop the relationship between our two main characters whilst also getting to know them as a whole. Then we have our side characters from Valhalla that we have all come to love.
Reaper is a man that was pulled from his world due to an heroic act leaving behind his two children and is pulled into a new life. He has become his namesake and has hardened himself to letting others in.
Kyra is a single mother to twins. She struggles to keep her head above water and to keep her business going. Her ex Craig walked out on her their children and their business. Her life is the children and the business and no-one else. She has no room for a man.
Kyra’s life takes a turn for the worst when the diner is being robbed and in steps Reaper and the men of Valhalla MC. Kyra doesn’t want a man and Reaper doesn’t want a woman, but these two have a connection beyond him helping her. Can these both get over their issues and open their ‘hearts’ to more.

This is a great continuation of the Valhalla Rising MC. This brings the other characters from the first two into it to help the male lead get his head out of his butt. Reaper is feeling the years and the loneliness of his after life. When Odin decides to help him come to life again, he sends him back to the present to help a single mother with her life problems.
Kyra is about at her last nerve and the end of her rope with what life is handing her. What she didn’t expect was for the world to send her Reaper and the MC, to helper.
Reaper and Kyra both play ring an around the attraction with each other, along the way they learn that they can still be adults without losing themselves.
When Reapers past comes back and is also connected to Kyras ex-husband, that is really when everything comes to a head and brings them both to Valhalla.
They both admit that they love each other and that they are connected thur the family that takes in her twins after her death, happens to. Be Reapers daughter and her husband.

This is the third book in this series. They can be read as standalone books but I think they are better read in order. Reaper had a wife and two kids when he was alive. He loved his kids but his ex made things difficult. Then he died while trying to help a woman. Now he is in Valhalla. Odin has a new mission and this one is just for him. He isn't really interested in it but you don't get to say no to Odin. Kyra is a single mother of two and is running a diner. Her ex up and left her and the kids with the business. Now trouble has found her and she doesn't know why but she knows it wasn't a random thing. Reaper and the guys are going to help her. Hopefully they will be able to figure out who is behind it before something really bad happens. This is Reaper's second chance at a family. But this won't be as simple as it was for the other guys. There are children involved. How will that work? Fear not Odin has a plan. I love this series. Andi has said this is it for now for this series. Can't say that doesn't make me a little sad. I would love more of these characters. Great job Andi. I look forward to reading Andi's other books.

I really enjoyed this third book in the Valhalla Rising MC series. Some parts were unexpected and I loved every bit of it.
I love the Valhalla characters and the women that they discover is their better half are always perfect for them. I love all of the characters and the story lines in these books. This one was a little surprising, but great.
Reaper and Kyra are a great couple and they have to go through the tough time to find their HEA, but it will happen. Odin always has something up his sleeve for these guys. He is tough and powerful, but these guys are all his family and he wants them to be happy and settled, even in the afterlife.
I loved Reaper and I can't wait for the next one in the series.

Even in death, there are Happily Ever Afters
Sometimes it is the choices of others that place us in certain situations. Deadbeat dad walking out? Well, this places Kyra as a single mother with twins. Bad guy shooting a good guy trying to do the right thing? This one equals Craig being a dead guy with his ticket to Valhalla punched.
Reaper is a great story line that lets you know just because things aren’t looking great at the moment, anything can happen. There is always a silver lining to find. This is 3rd in the series, but all can be read as stand-alones. I highly recommend anything written by Andi!

These Valhalla Rising MC books are all quick reads with likeable characters. I hope there'll be more in the future.

He was definitely reluctant at first, but Odin knew what he was doing, and Kyra and her children quickly became Reaper's priority.

Book three in the Valhalla Rising MC series. When reaper lost his life. He got a second chance. He lost his kids now he’s a Valhalla. He’s send back to each to protect Kyra and her kids. She’s a single mother and a dinner owner. When reaper comes she has no place for him. The last man was not good one. Now the guys are here to help them. With kids she can’t make simple decisions. She has to think about them. Well she finds out about reapers past and his mission. She has to make the biggest decision, trust him. Or live life with fear. Love it

Reaper didn't want to be anyone's hero again. He couldn't really fight the feelings again of losing something important, but he also knew he couldn't fight Odin's rule by denying doing his job.
Kyra needed help even though she tried to keep it all to herself and when she couldn't do it he was there big as life only was he really.
One thing after another led them down the road and they became one and were able to make a future as a family and then blended with the others.
Story moved along quickly and kept the interest going.

Reaper had come to terms with his life ending, and bexoming part of the Valhalla Rising MC, when Odin sends him back the world of the living with a task, everything changes. Kyra is a single mum to twins doing all she can tp keep going for them, when meets Reaper (Craig) he brings life to her soul, but what happens when she learns his true self and what it means for them! Well written engagimg, emotional rollor coaster ride! A great addition to the series

Everything feels like it’s crumbling around her daily as more trouble presents itself. When her ex shows up, even more problems arise. Reaper and his brothers step in to help. When presented with the ultimate decision, Kyra will need to decide what path to choose.

This is the last installment in the Valhalla Rising MC series. I typically prefer longer stories as I feel the character development is stronger but I have to say it again, Andi’s stories may be short but she knows how to grab the reader and have them fall in love with the characters. The story or Reaper and Kyra was my favorite of this series.

While this wasn't my favourite book by this author, that's more due to personal tastes than quality of the book.
Fantasy is not my normal go to, but the author has done it in a way that kept me intrigued and turning pages.

This series is absolutely amazing. Odin always knows exactly what to do. Reaper and Kyra are the perfect example. I love the storyline and really enjoyed Kyra learning about Reapers world. Great writing.

Reaper has been missing something but his loyalty and dedication to the Valhalla Rising MC always was first in his afterlife. When Odin sends him on a task he meets Kyra, Hunter and Heidi he finds himself wanting more. This is the final book in this series and it was such an enjoyable read. I love all these characters and all the trouble they get into.
