Radiology for Anaesthesia & Intensive Care
As more anaesthetists become involved in critical care and other areas of perioperative management, they need to be able to request radiological investigations, and interpret the results quickly and accurately. This concise and fully illustrated book covers the key aspects of imaging that are of relevance to anaesthetists and intensivists, and examines all imaging modalities that are likely to be called upon (plain film, CT, MRI etc.). The book is organised logically by body system for ease of access to information and is written by a team of radiologists and anaesthetists, providing a dual perspective.

About the author
Richard Hopkins
30 books2 followersRichard Hopkins retired nearly 9 years ago after a wide variety of jobs ranging from polymer research to teaching monkeys to watch television, via banking, commercial security, industrial archaeology, even a short spell in a call centre.
Meanwhile, he became an archery instructor, made boomerangs, and was involved in reconstructing a number of chariots for museums and television.
He has found retirement to be busier than work, as an interest in too many things eats up his time. Apart from collecting books on a wide range of subjects his other main hobby (apart from practical knot tying) is collecting locks and keys. He hates to have his photograph taken.
