Shira couldn't believe it. She'd just seen her cousin, Erin, walk off with a tall, dark and mysterious Sheikh. Now she was all alone at a ball where she didn't know anyone. Then Sheikh Khalil had strode confidently into her life and whisked her away for the evening. But just as the night was about to get even steamier Khalil was called back to his home country, Jawhara, after a national emergency.
They hadn't seen each other since that night.
But when Shira gets sent to Jawhara on a business trip, she has no doubt that Khalil had orchestrated it. Shira had never met a man like Khalil before. He is so strong and handsome; everything seems to be in his control. When he touches her she is overwhelmed with attraction, especially when he looks at her with his deep brown eyes.
Khalil can't believe that the one woman who had finally won his heart is an American, and so unladylike as well. But when he is around her he feels an overwhelming attraction - and he knows she feels it too. Khalil wants her to stay in Jawhara forever. Shira is furious when she finds out his plan and yet she finds such a strong attraction to him. She will be forced to decide between Khalil and her home...
But the fairy tale soon ends when Erin is kidnapped from a refugee camp. Sheikh Kamal, Sheikh Khalil and Shira will all have to work together to get the future Sheikha of Jawhara safely returned.

They were sending Shira by herself. She turned to the voice of Khalil. He was returning home and would escort Shira. Khalil was excited to her his country. He had plans to make her his wife. He wanted to show her what his country has to offer. Shira was setting up the international office. Her cousin Erin was ill. Erin finally went to the doctors to find out what was wrong. I couldn’t wait to read what happens next with Shira and Khalil engaged. Erin being kidnapped by the radicals to forces Kamal to do what they want. The guards are looking for her. Talib had escorted Erin’s parents to Jawhara from there cruise. When he learned from his majesty Erin was kidnapped he did digging and looking at footage of the area to see if anyone crossed the border. Talib went to the camps to look for Erin and he met this spitfire Pj. She was challenging him. He explained who he was and told her what he knew. I hope Erin makes it out of this alright. Kamal will give swift justice if anything happens to her and his baby.
This is the second book in the Jawhara Sheikh series and I highly advise you to read Bk 1-the Sheikh’s Pregnant Bride for full understanding and enjoyment of this story. Book 3 The Sheikhs Captive Bride concludes this series. Sheikh Khalil (Kale) Mehmed El- Jawhara is second to his brother Sheikh Kamal, the ruler of Jawhara. Kale, representing Jewel Oil Company of Jawhara, has spent months working with a marketing group out of DC. Much of that time actually in DC working closely with a beautiful smart inventive lady who he believes will be his future bride. Shira Malone is a very talented Assistant Marketing Director for the Addams Group. Her latest project is for Jewel Oil and it’s a very important and intense project. She is focused on the account AND on the handsome man leading the project, Sheikh Khalil. She thinks there may be a silent connection going on between them. Well, when the contracts are signed Shira finds that indeed Kale has the hots for her too. Kale has decided he wants Shira and when one of these Sheikhs wants something they eliminate any obstruction to get it. Shira and Kale fly to Jawhara in the Royal jet to fine-tune the marketing plans when she discovers she will also be setting up a satellite office for the Addams Group …and… she will be running it…in Jawhara?? Meanwhile, Sheikh Kamal is in talks to calm a tense situation at one of their borders and to keep track of his future bride, Erin, still in DC. Each of the stories in this three-book series is connected and we see different views simultaneously from the different characters. The series is very interesting and ROMANTIC. I received a free advanced copy of this story from Booksprout and I leave this review because I review everything. Linda
This is the story of Sheikh Khalil of Jawhara and Shira Malone. Khalil (nickname Kale) is the younger brother of Sheikh Kamal, ruler of Jawhara. Shira is the younger cousin of Erin Malone. Erin is the love interest of Sheikh Kamal, and the first book of the series focuses on Kamal and Erin.
Shira was orphaned at the age of ten, and then raised by Erin's parents (Shira's aunt and uncle), so Shira and Erin are more like siblings than cousins. Shira works as the Marketing Director for Addams Group in the U. S. and helped her firm land the marketing contract with Jewel Oil. Jewel Oil is owned by Kale and Kamal. Addams Oil is setting up a satelite office in Jawhara, and Shira is to work from there during the ad campaign (personally escorted by Kale on his brother's plane). Shira learns later that she will permanently run the satellite office in Jawhara.
Sparks fly between Kale and Shira.
Meanwhile, Kamal and Erin are engaged and the wedding is to take place soon. Erin's parents are on a cruise, and Kamal sends his plane and Jawhara's head of security Talib to bring them back for Kamal and Erin's wedding.
Erin has been trying to help the refugees from a neighboring country in a camp in Jawhara. Security was ramped up to protect Erin, but despite that she was kidnapped. Yes, there is a cliffhanger but it somehow works with this series.
Will Kamal's security team find and save Erin before it's too late? Will Kale and Shira's relationship proceed? Read this book and the next book to find out.

This book picks up right where the other left off and tells Shira's story.
Shira and Khalil have grown close since they've been working together. She leaves to go to his homeland to finish up some work with him. While she is away Erin is ill and doesn't think its serious. When she gets a chance to sneak off she goes to the doctor to find out that she's pregnant. When her guard finds her she is exhausted and falls asleep in the car. Kamal has him look for paperwork and once he knows what is wrong demands she be brought home to him. Shira arrives back home and spends the night in a hotel with Khalil instead if returning home. Khalil feels guilty because he know her cousin is on a plane heading to Jawhara. Shira is frantic about her cousin when she learns the truth. Erin isn't happy with being kidnapped but she settles in. Nothing goes as planned and Erin ends up kidnapped by Sheikh Kamal's enemy. Will they find her in time to save her? Will Shira stay with Khalil?
This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Shira met Khalil at work. He was the CEO of their big client. Shira was attracted to Khalil, but he kept himself distant, always with bodyguards. When the contract with Shira’s company is signed, Khalil is free to let his interest in Shira show. Khalil finds out Shira’s former boyfriends always took advantage of her. He wants to treat Shira with love and respect. Khalil’s Harvard education helps him understand Shira’s needs. Khalil shows Shira around his country. It finally leads to their sizzling passion. They fly back to US to pack for Shira and to check on Erin’s illness. Their trip is cut short due to a big turn of event. Erin is not sick. She is pregnant with the Sheikh’s baby. The Sheikh flies her to him as soon as possible. They also receive intelligence that they have rebels threaten the sheikh’s family. With danger looming, they hurry back to help the sheikh facing the challenges. The story moves in a fast pace. It fully conveys the sense of urgency. The characters are sophisticated and the romance is steamy. I can’t wait to read the next story in this series. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
The Jawhara Sheikh saga continues! The Sheikh’s Troublesome Bride (The Jawhara Sheikh’s Book 2) by Leslie North is a new take on a series! Kamal and Erin take a prominent roll in the second book as the reader gets a deeper insight of Kalil and Shira. This fast paced romance blends the whirlwind romance feel with the sense of imminent danger. Kamal and Erin are betrothed, Kalil is in official pursuit of Shira. It’s this couple that heats the story up and adds more romance as the plot of this series begins to unfold further. Overall, while this book does end in a bit of a cliffhanger, the romance between Kalil and Shira is firmly defined and the HEA is in progress, but the overall well-being of Erin is left open-ended for Book 3. Despite the cliffhanger, a very enjoyable romance read that has me looking forward to the conclusion and Talib’s romance. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review.
Two stories are presented here as Shira's cousin Erin is to marry Sheikh Kamal and Shira and Sheikh Khalil will eventually get engaged. But while we read about Shira and Khalil falling in love, there is a problem in Jawhara where rebels threaten the Sheikh’s family. Erin, who has been feeling ill, is actually pregnant. Her being brought over to Jawhara falls right into the rebels’ plans and they kidnap her. Can they rescue Erin? Will they harm her? And when/if things quiet down, will Khalil, the powerful man who is always in control, realize that Shira is a strong independent woman not used to being told what to do? There may be more “fireworks” ahead for their romance!
The story line is action-packed and fast-paced, with a clear sense of danger. It will keep the reader avidly following what is happening with the two cousins. This author always brings us a great story, so grab your copy and enjoy!
Still Searching. Amazing book. Kale knows something that Shira doesn’t, she will be moving to his country. Permanently. It has been arranged with her bosses, actually they suggested it, to set up a branch office there and Shira will run it. She finds all of this out once she arrives and is not sure she likes being kept in the dark about her life. Kale and Shira return to the States to finalize everything only to find out her cousin is already on the way to Jawhara. Moving faster than was originally the plan they pack up both of the cousin’s things. They receive disturbing news from the Sheikh and must leave everything behind and rush back. Will Shira get used used to others making decisions for her if it means staying with Kale? Will the worsening conflict bring disastrous results. Not all that awaits you in Paradise is good.

This time it’s Shira and Kale’s turn. In the first book it was pretty obvious that these two are heading for a relationship, and they most certainly do.
As in the previous book, things race ahead with Kale making decisions about their future and Shira just seems to go with it (not sure why she is troublesome). Kale proposes within days, the only problem is that his elder brother has to get married first.
And, as luck would have it, that was meant to be within days...or is it?
As with the first book, this seems to be an adult fairy-tale, but we don’t know what the ending will be. I would have liked to learn more about the characters, and for their relationship to have been explored a bit more.
There is trouble afoot as Erin has gone missing.
I guess this book is also just a bit too short for more detail, I’m curious to see where this story goes though.

The second book in the Jawhara Sheikh's Series with Sheikh Khalil back in the US to pick up Shira Malone to fly her over and assist her in opening Addams Group East Office. Shira hit it off with Kal when she started working with Jewel Oil in the beginning. The excitement continues with Shira's cousin, Erin in Jawhara is helping with the refugees from a nearby country is kidnapped while Kal and Shira are back in the US making arrangements to move their things to Jawhara. We are left somewhat in a cliffhanger waiting for book three to see if they get Erin back in time. Mean time enjoy the courtship of Khalil and Shira with all their many twist and turns, of a man use to demanding a woman do something, and now he is dealing with a strong, independent woman use to doing her own thing. I received an advance readers copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Who says you can't mix pleasure after business? Sheikh Khalil and Shira try to hide how they feel about each other while working on a contract between their companies. Once the deal is sealed, Khalil and Shira try to seal their own deal. Their chemistry jumps off the pages. It is sweet how Khalil works it out with Shira's bosses to ensure she has a new opportunity to stay in the Middle East to set up a satellite office and stay with him. While their romance is budding, the turmoil in Khalil's country intensifies, which also puts Shira's cousin is kidnapped. Their romance takes a back burner while trying to save Shira's cousin. You will need to read the third installment of this story to find out how everything ends. You know the first two books have kept you on the edge of your seat so you know you don't want to miss the third story. Keep reading!!
This is book 2 of The Jawhara Sheikhs and ends on a cliffhanger. Shira, the assistant marketing director for her firm, had been instrumental in helping the firm land its most lucrative marketing campaign ever—Jewel Oil. Her attraction to Sheikh Khalil continued to grow and vice versa. When Kale informed her that she was the only one going to Jawhara alone to help set up a satellite office and hire employees. Things move fast between Kale and Shira and soon he is on one knee proposing. They return to the US to pack up her belongings and Erin’s, but their happy news is disrupted when her cousin Erin, Sheikh Kamal’s future wife goes missing, and they return to Jawhara. Looking forward to the net book in this series.

Second book in the jawhara series. First of the title is somewhat confusing maybe the prince’s troublesome bride? Now reading Shira and Khalil’s story was a good read although Shira wasn’t that troublesome a bit assertive and worried about her cousin and how she is been “treated” but then again Jawhara has a different culture. Although Khalil have been making decisions behind her back, he brought it to her after the fact to “consult” her. Then Kamal and Erin pops back in the story, not sure how to feel about it but I guess I just want Khalil and Shira not one else. You absolutely need to read the third book.

Shira has had her eye on Kale since her company has been vying for a contract with his country. Once the contracts are signed, he puts in his plans to take her to Jawhara, although he has decided she will be his wife, he wisely waits to propose. After a few heated arguments, everything seems settles and perfect until her cousin Erin,is kidnapped from a refugee camp in Jawhara where she was helping at. They rush back to help and support the royal family in getting her safely home. The attraction between Khalil and Shira is undeniable and make this a great read, it does end with a sort of cliff-hanger as the kidnapping starts in this book but is not resolved. I voluntarily received and reviewed an ARC copy of the book.
Erin is a very stubborn women and headstrong also. Shira is her cousin whom has been raises by Erin parents after her parents died when she was 10 years old. They have go through their teens and college and now live together. Shira company Addams Group that she work for is opening an satellite office in Jawhara. While Shira is packing all their belonging to be ship to Jawhara as both girl are now engage to the brothers, Erin is missing. Read to see how thing go.

I enjoyed this short romance story with all of the characters. The two main characters were Shira and Sheikh Khalil.
Shira wants Sheikh Khalil to focus on her. With the contract negotiations between their two countries going on. She meet him during one of the party. And has came to like him.
Sheikh Khalil has plan for the lovely woman that her has meet. As soon a the negotiations are done he is taking her to see his country.
This was fun and short to read. It has action and adventure throughout. It is the second in the series" The Jawhara Sheikhs". You can read as a stand-alone or in a series. There is three in the series. It also had a few funny parts that had me laughing or giggling to.
I received a complimentary copy via Booksprout. This is my honest unbiased opinions.
This is the 2nd book in the series and features Shira and Kale who had a fling when they first met. They meet again some time later and Shira accompanies Kale back to his country not realising that she is going to heading up a new branch of the company she works for. The relationship between the two becomes very passionate and before long they are very much a couple. At the same time there are things happening with his brother and her cousin that don’t bode well - they featured in book one. The book ends on a bit of a cliff hanger. Word of warning, this is not a standalone and all books need to be read.
Khalil met Shira for business and when that was completed he wanted to go after Shira but he was called home. Shira travels to Jawhara and things heat up between Khalil and Shira. He wants her to stay and marry her but does not want to scare her off. Then Erin is kidnapped and they all have to work together to get her back. This is a wonderful addition to the Sheikhs of Jawhara series. Khalil is a very very strong man, Shira was great she wanted Khalil and together they are amazing their dialog and interaction was amazing. There is some drama, but it just enhances the story.

A continuation of the first story in the series. This book does end with a bit of a cliffhanger. Khalil (Kale) is the brother of Kamal (from The Sheikh’s Pregnant Bride) and Shira is the cousin of Kamal’s soon to be bride, Erin. Kale and Shira had worked together on a project her company was helping Jawhara with. She and Kale develop feelings for each other. But there are problems in Jawhara that require Kale to return earlier than planned. As he and Shira worked through their feelings, complications come up with Erin. This is a good story and there are some great situations. And some steam.

This book is a carry on from book one even though you thought that book end with a happy ever after. This book is set around a different couple but the characters from the previous book are also in this one. Just as you think everything is going well for both couples this author throws a curveball and things get real interesting. There’s drama action suspense and romance that had me well and truly hooked. Finishes up on a cliffhanger so definitely looking forward to the next book to see what happens and yes this series should be read in order. The is the 2nd book in the The Jawhara Sheikhs series. I read this series last year or the year before and enjoyed,it. It has a new cover now and I enjoyed the story as much as,I remembered. The story follows Sheikh Khalil and Shira. She’s attracted to him and hoping he’ll notice her and when he does, their chemistry is off the hook. Little does Shira know, he wants her to stay in Jawhara and marry him. Just as he get’s ready to tell/ask her - her cousin is kidnapped from a refugee camp and the entire group including the royal family is needed to get them back.

Starting with Shira and Kales side of the story and ending with a major problem that brings everyone together. I was already addicted to the story, but the tension that develops in the last half is riveting. The characters are getting more developed and the dialogue makes them seem like someone you closely know. The storyline is a roller coaster as you begin to see all the side plots coming together. The deep love that the two couples share is strong while the determination of security to keep the peace and protection is commendable. Can not wait to see where the story goes from here.

Going to an unknown country can be daunting. This is romantic and full of suspense.
Kale is a sheikh visiting the US. He is attracted to Shira and when the heat starts to rise, he is called to his home country for an emergency and has to leave Shira. She is then offered a job in his country. She is surprised at first, but excited at the opportunity just the same. Kale whisks her off as he has plans for her. Will she embrace his proposal? In the meantime, her cousin Erin has gone missing. There is a holy war lurking and she is caught right in the middle.
This book ends, leaving you guessing as to what happens next. It's a light and pleasant read

This book is #2 and can be read without reading the first one; however, to understand the overlaying story you want to read both. Well, actually all 3 books because this one ends in a cliffhanger. This book picks up Shira and Kale's story that happens at the same time as Kam and Erin's, book 1. Kale is an alpha man but not as much as his brother. He talks with Shira and explains things a little more than Kam. Both men have met their match with cousins Shira and Erin. This was the second book of this series. It revolved around Erin and Talib. Talib was the brother of the current Shiekh and arranged for Erin to come home with him to manage her account they had just won. She is quite upset to learn her cousin was not where she thought she was. She was falling in love with Talib and really wanted him to love her back. The story moved along quickly and I'm looking forward to the third book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Shira has been trying to get Sheikh Khalil interested in her for a while but now she finds out that he was interested in her, but had been waiting for his older brother to be sorted first. Now Khalil is in full organising mode with Shira. All was going well until Khalil's sister-in-law was kidnapped.
This series has handsome Sheikhs and strong willed women who change their loved ones views on the world. A lovely series.
