"A wonderful book for young kids who love to figure things out on their own. I thought that the pictures were very creative and they provided a few chuckles, especially the picture of the children painting. I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars." — Independent Reader

Before I begin, I want to point out that this book was an e-book format. This is a very important detail that influenced my rating. Usually I love puzzles. I remember competing with my brother when we were younger with Where’s Waldo?. I love hidden object games that I play online as well. So when this title came up for review, I was excited to try it out! When I downloaded it to my Kindle though, it was a big mess of chopped up pictures and blank pages galore. There was no way to actually enjoy

Instead of the usual black and white line drawings, these spot the difference puzzles are twenty five pairs of similar looking coloured photographs. Each pair is shown on facing pages, with the unaltered image on the left page and the one which has been changed on the right, complete with a tick box to record differences spotted. The photographs are ones that children will easily relate to, often involving children in familiar situations. Definitely works better on a tablet or computer if your k

Spot the Differences by Peter Donahue is a wonderful book for young kids who love to figure things out on their own.
The picture puzzles for kids contain actual kids, and the changed pictures are photoshopped with the differences. For adults, it is pretty easy, and same for older kids. But younger kids ages 6 to 9 are the perfect ages for this book.

A fun puzzle book for children but might prove difficult for younger readers in ebook format. When I downloaded the ebook to my tablet, I could only view one page at a time. This might be an issue because each puzzle consists of two full page images and flipping back and forth might impede a child's ability to solve the puzzle. Nonetheless, in print format, this is a great puzzle book: large full color puzzle images with a checklist to keep track of progress and a chapter with solutions in pictu

This book contains 25 pairs of real photographs. The original on the left and the changed on on the right. There is also a check-box at the bottom to record differences once spotted. (The answers are in the back of the book.) The photography are of everyday life making it easy to feel familiar to kids I also found the photographs to vary in challenge, allowing for hours of enjoyment.

My kids and I loved this book. We had to use the computer instead of the Kindle. The screen just wasn't big enough.
