The women of Rosemary Beach continue to navigate the trials of love, family, and self-discovery, and each must face what lies ahead...and what they are willing to leave behind.
Gloria's life is upended when her son, once a promising college athlete, returns home to Florida after dropping out of school in Boston. Desperate to get his life back on track, he's a shell of the confident young man he once was. As Gloria works to rebuild their relationship and help him heal, she's forced to confront her own desires for the future -- and whether she's ready to rebuild her own life as well, and finally leave the past behind her.
Vanessa and Noah's second chance at love seems to be slipping away. After a heartbreaking goodbye, Vanessa is torn between holding onto the hope of reconciliation and finally accepting that their relationship may be over for good. Noah wants to make things right, but it would mean giving up his entire world and everything he's worked for. As the tension between them grows, Vanessa must decide if she can fight for their love or if it's time to finally let go and walk away for good.
Meanwhile, Daisy's life takes a sudden turn. What started as an irritating attraction to her grumpy landlord soon turns into something much more interesting. But after her broken engagement, can she survive falling for someone so...complicated?
The Young at Heart Series
In this heartwarming saga of family, friendship, and forgiveness, Vanessa Young and her long-lost daughter, Emily, reunite after thirty years. Together, they embark on a fresh start against the backdrop of white sand beaches and the colorful, small-town charm of Rosemary Beach, Florida. As they navigate a sea of new challenges and old wounds, the women find themselves surrounded by the loving embrace of close family and dear friends. The extensive cast of characters faces all of life's ups and downs with laughter, joy, and unwavering love.
This enchanting return to Rosemary Beach, Florida, brings all the feels of heartbreak, tension and worry, new love, comfort, family reconnection, and charm. All is not rosy at times, but family (biological and chosen) provides the glue that holds these characters together and brings hope, laughter, and acceptance as they move forward with changes and new beginnings. I love this heartwarming series, and highly recommend it (and suggest the best way to read the books is in order from the beginning to get the full story!) Now I impatiently await the next book in the series!
We get to reconnect with the crew from Rosemary Beach. I loved it. The story has heart, emotion, some laughs and some tears. There are many storylines and romances going on at one time. And the promise of more in the future! I can't wait.
The pace is fast and the tone is hopeful with a character centered storyline that has some kisses but no steam. The characters are vibrant and endearing. This is a sweet, contemporary fiction story with lots of heart, emotion and romance. This is a standalone story, but I recommend that you read the series in order. If you really want the full effect, read the Sweeney House series first in order and then this one! Young at Heart starts right where Sweeney House series ends.
We are back in Rosemary Beach with Book 4 in Cecelia Scott’s Young at Heart series, another heartwarming story with a few surprises. Family is a strong component of these books. As we learn in real life, wishes don’t always come true. Through the ups and downs of everyday life, there is always hope and laughter to give our protagonists strength to push through and begin new chapters in their lives. And sometimes those paths take a different direction from carefully laid out plans. I highly recommend this book and the entire series.
There are a lot of relationship turning points in this book which have been building up over the previous books, I really felt for Cricket so hope there is some fun on the horizon for her. I enjoyed getting to know Jeremy who definitely needed some Rosemary Beach and family time and it didn't just help him but also Daisy. Of course we have Emily and Vanessa going from strength to strength with their relationship and soo much more is going on in Rosemary Beach which has me counting down until the next!!
This is the fourth in the Young at Heart series, and the books just keep getting better! Honestly my heart got broken a little when one relationship in the series ended, but then there’s the hope of new beginnings…and isn’t that what we all long for…hope. A lot of relationships developed more deeply in this book, and you know there’s so much more to come. Families and forgiveness is the theme, and it’s just a beautiful and touching series.
We have returned to Rosemary Beach for the fourth book, as always, the story is centered around family. The emotions of heartbreak, new beginnings, and what general life brings.
Hearts are on the line, changes are happening, and relationships become more. We do not always get what we hope for, but a new door may open. As always the strong theme of forgiveness and family.
Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
Ok, so the preview for this book was almost a spoiler to expect a romance to not go the way we thought it was going… so I started this book sad about that ending; however, the new direction is even better!! Keep reading, y’all! I love these characters and this series. Can’t wait for the next book!
Book four in the Young at Heart series is all about relationships. One relationship ends, which I was sad to see, but new ones are developing. One relationship is facilitated by some sweet dogs! Lots of family and love in this series and it is so fun to return to Rosemary Beach with them!
So much happening. Old love gone, New love started. Vanessa has had her time. I want love and romance for Gloria and Cricket now. Maybe a new love for Noah that brings him home to be near his Mom. Just keep the series going.
I enjoyed this book as well as the series. Good clean reading. But...I want to know about the funeral for Violet. ??? Did the daughters not bury her and why was it skipped over?
What a darling story. And good people and hopeful dreams. So many positive changes. Hopping on a private plane to retrieve a veil, trusting a new family. Accepting a baseball coaching job. Staying in Rosemary Beach. What will happen next?
A good story about “the winds of change” and how strong women endure it. The characters are fun and the story is full of unexpected twists that makes it an engaging read. Thank you for the ARC copy.
Another very good read in this series. I'd like the storyline, character development and the way the story flowed. I do hope there is a book five, as I want to experience more at rosemary Beach
