They thought they could break her. They were wrong.

Captured by the dying Tasqal empire, Constance faces a fate worse than death. But they didn’t count on Akur—the rebel warrior who’d rather die than fail, and who’s determined to tear their world apart to save her.

Stranded on a planet that shouldn’t exist and hunted by an enemy that will stop at nothing, Constance and Akur uncover a devastating the Tasqals’ plans reach farther—and darker—than anyone imagined.

Every choice brings them closer to answers…and closer to doom. Trust is their only weapon, and love? A weakness they can’t afford. With countless worlds hanging in the balance, failure isn’t an option—not when the cost is annihilation.

I need the next book as I need to know if they take them out......

Akur is the third explosive sci-fi book in the Restitution series by AG Wilde. Kidnapped by vile creatures who take and breed no matter who you are. Creatures who torture, rape, and murder, no matter the consequences. It is a dark, high-stakes danger with romance, action, tension, vicious battles, danger, and suspense. A series that should not be missed. But hot on their heels are aliens that have lost everyone they loved to these creatures, hoping to stop them to exact revenge. These new aliens are loyal, have courage, and will take on all looming threats that jeopardise their lives and the lives they swore to protect. These alpha heroes find something they thought would never be possible, and that is a connection with humans in the face of uncertainty and danger.

One of the most intense stories in the entire series🌟💖🔥

This book is a non stop thrill ride from the first to the last pages. Akur the undefeated was not going to let the Tasquels win and he certainly wasn't going to let them have the human females! as the rebel base is under attack Akur and his brother in arms Elot set out to rescued the 3 human females taken off the base. Akur is relentless and will not give up until he finds them. Constance is terrified and resigned no one is coming to help them. The Tasquels have taken them and their plans are more nefarious than anyone truly realizes. After seeing he destruction of the base and being torn away of on the big mint green warrior she's know that she and the other females will have to fight on their own. That is until Constance sees someone she never thought shed see again. And then all hell breaks loose. This was one of the most intense action packed books I've ever read. The fight for the resistance and for life has truly begun. You will not want to put there book or you kindle down. Its fast paced full of action but also explores deep feelings as the lead characters are drawn closer and closer together! You have got to read this its fantastic, world building is top notch , action is non stop and the spice is perfect . Highly recommend💖🔥🌟🔥💖🌟💖🔥🌟🔥💖🌟💖🔥🌟

Girl is kidnapped, drugged and stuck on a tiny ship heading for not-paradise. Rescue attempt is undertaken with middling success that ultimately ends in a crash landing and befriending of a former enemy. After a quick scurry across the alien planet, punctuated by bouts of frisky behaviour, they make some unexpected discoveries...

Plot
I actually quite liked the way in which this story led. The initial rescue attempt was a tad stupid, but still exciting and enjoyable. I also really liked the way the two leads looked after each other as they made their way off the planet and genuinely supported each other.
The only thing that felt off for me was the timing for their canoodling. I did feel that every 'interaction' was poorly timed and there was urgent business afoot for them that they should have been attending too. I know, the MMC went into heat and all that, but it didn't sit quite right with me.

Characters
FMC
I did like the FMC and enjoyed her general nice personality and passion for caring for others.
She was however introduced as a therapist, for which the only purpose seemed to be to mention that she is a therapist every so often. Other than being a generally really supportive person, I didn't find this added anything. She was just a good person.

MMC
Hehe He's a little cutie. I really liked Akur, and while he attempted to function as just a general badass, he was actually all soft on the inside - but in a good way.

The Rest
The rest of the Restitution were kinda...around. And that was fine. I did however really like their new

Chemistry
Lots of excellent chemistry between these two. Well done and with enough initial angst to make it feel sincere.

The Good
The twist! Of the planet! It was beautiful. Love it.

The Bad & The Ugly
Nothing here.

The Wrap Up
I love The Restitution books (and the parent(?) series), and this is a great addition. Can't wait to see where this goes.

A traumatic experience for Akur and Constance

This book was a journey of discovery and trauma for our two lead characters Akur and Constance ( female human). The book begins with a bang . Please mind your trigger. The villains have some type of gravity beam that they use against Akur and his people who are trying to saved the human females. The beam threatens to pull Constance from Akur. They both are holding on for dear life. However, it is not enough. This book ends in a happy for now. The overarching villains are sill after the females to exact their evil plans. Read On!

A. G. Wilde has written another winner! I have never been disappointed in anything she has written and Akur is no exception. Great characters and intricate plot. Even the bad guys are interesting. Excellent world building. No logic problems (a pet peeve of mine). Lots of steamy moments but not so much that it takes away from the book. Tender moments and lots of action too. Never a dull moment from start to finish. I am ready for the next (and last) book in the series! Thank you, A.G.

What a wild ride! This book was nonstop action. I was on the edge of my seat the entire way. I don't think I've ever read a romance novel quite as exciting as this one!

I like that she calls him Mint Man.

She has a lovely sense of humor and dedication considering their circumstances. He is indestructible. Overall it was a fun read!
