This was a nice easy read, low in drama but high in enjoyment. I haven't read any of the previous books in the Perfect Kisses series but it didn't detract from being able to follow the story although you got the sense that some characters were reoccurring.

3.5 - "I was a bigger douchebag than Justin Beaver." Stars!

Ophelia London has given us a really enjoyable little addition to the Perfect Kisses Series.

He was pretty sure sex on the beach - the action, not the cocktail - was a big no-no.

It was great to catch up with Ellie & Charlie (Falling For Her Soldier, Book 3), and I really liked Chase/Will and Justine. Both were characters with a few insecurities and secrets, and I liked that the time they spent together was used to try and work through tho

Making Waves a fabulous addition to Ophelia London's Perfect Kisses series. Everything she brought us in her full length novels has been condensed into a wonderful novella that is sweet, sexy and leaves you with a smile on your face. I loved it and Will and Justine were completely endearing. Surfers have now entered the realms of my literary loves...it's the fresh from the ocean look that does it.

Oh, Entangled Bliss, it was been too long since I've picked one of you up. How I've missed you and your sweet romances that leave me swooning and smiling simultaneously! And though Falling For Her Soldier is the only Perfect Kisses novel I've read until now, I quickly realized that I've missed this series. To have the opportunity to revisit Charlie and Ellie, now living in Hawaii, was a treat.

Basically, Making Waves is the perfect summer beach read. You have the gorgeous Hawaiian setting, a sur

What I really loved about Making Waves by Ophelia London was it made me ask the question, “What would I do?” Seriously if you came across a guy you dated, a guy you really liked, a guy who left you naked in his apartment without an explanation of how you got there, and you found out that the guy was really a famous person and using a completely different name while with you; how would you handle

Who doesn't like a second chance love story? Making Waves was short, sweet and just a hint of spicy. I admit that this was my first Ophelia London book and it won't be my last. Yes, my first, so you may notice I've missed a few books in between. Even though I jumped into this series out of order, I didn't feel as though I was lost. If anything, it's made me want to go back and read the other books in the series!

Justine heads to Hawaii for a little R&R and to visit friends Ellie and Charlie. Whe

Sigh. Sun-kissed Hawaiian beaches and reconnecting with a long-lost love who just happens to be an ultra-hot professional surfer? Sign me up. Actually, sign me up for all of Ophelia London's books because I can't get enough.

The summary for this is pretty spot on. I loved this storyline and this scene. I really liked Will and liked Justine okay. And I loved seeing Ellie and Charlie so blissfully happy and snuggly here. This story was fast-paced and left a smile on my face. You really

This is the perfect beachside or poolside read. It's a quick fun, flirty novella that will you will not put down till you have finished.

Ophelia London has delivered another fantastic story, with the added bonus of catching up with Charlie and Ellie from Falling for her Soldier, which is one of my favourite books.

Justine and Will were a lot of fun to read, I loved the fact they were together then apart only for fate to bring them back together. Plus watching Will help Justine face her well dese

I love Ophelia London's writing and Making Waves is another entertaining and enjoyable read.

Making Waves is part of the A Perfect Kisses series but can be read as a standalone.
I love second chance love stories and seeing Justine and Will reconnect and finding their way back to each other made my heart very happy.

This was the first time I'd read any of Ophelia London's work and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. She packed this quick read full of fun. What could be better than two charming characters you just had to root for??? Throw in a some drama and a dash of heat and you're definitely in for a treat. Took this thing down in 2 hours. Perfect for an afternoon in the sun with a cold drink in hand.

Now I'm off to go buy out her collection

I really enjoyed this novella! This is my first read of Ophelia’s and I’m so looking forward to reading the other books in this series. The characters from book 3 “Falling for Her Soldier” are in it a little bit, but this can definitely be read as a stand-alone. I really liked these characters. Great for a fun, sweet, quick summer read!

"I could not help concluding this man had the most supreme pleasure while he was driven so fast and so smoothly by the sea" - Captain James Cook, first documented European explorer to come ashore in Hawaii in 1778.

Ophelia London delivers a flirty, engaging, and heartfelt story of "second chances" in this novella. Justine Simms is looking for the "big story" that can make (or break) her journalism career. Her chance comes on a quick trip from LA to Honolulu. Justine intended to spend the long wee

Making Waves by Ophelia London is another fantastic read from her Perfect Kisses Series. This is a novella about Justine Simms as she ventures to Hawaii and finds a piece of her past she thought was long over – the one that broke her heart, Will Davenport. This novella reads like a standalone, but this series is so enjoyable you’ll want to get your hands on every one of the books.

Will Davenport leads a double life. On the one side, he’s Will – a brilliant introvert with a nerdy side. His other

This is perfect summer read, it has a tropical setting of Oahu in Hawaii and a hot young couple.

Justine arrives in Oahu on a much needed vacation, as a journalist she needs to break a big story in order for her career to continue and she hopes a trip to the island will recharge her batteries. What she doesn't expect is to come across Will the guy who up and left her after a few sweet weeks the previous year, sweet nerdy Will

Short and sweet, there's a lot to like in this novella:

1) Will, AKA Chase Ryder, is a Clark Kent-type hero--part-time geeky tech guy, part-time surfing god.

2) It's set in HAWAII.

3) The bathing-suit-shopping scene.

4) We get to see Ellie and Charlie from Falling For Her Soldier again.

5) The making-out-in-the-water scene getting-Justine-over-her-phobia scene.

6) Lovers-with-a-past troupe!

7) Did I mention HAWAII? ;)

Only two downsides:

1) The past drama seemed a bit on the fluffy side. I expected it to

A Light & Cute Romance!

MAKING WAVES by Ophelia London is a fun read! At just 122 pages, you can enjoy it in one afternoon and it is a great addition to her Perfect Kisses series. It can easily be read as a standalone. There are interconnected characters, but this series does not need to be read in order.

The fabulous Hawaiian setting lured me in right away. This is the perfect escape read to the beach! It was like taking a mini-vacation there and it didn't require leaving my home!

You won’t be disappointed with this novella, because there are plenty of ah, oh wow, and oh no moments as they get reacquainted and Will/Chase tries to protect his identity while pursuing a journalist—there’s bound to be a mishap there. I love how Chase and Justine attempted to get to know each other on a whole new level, and at times everything seemed so perfect. However, I soon found that Making Waves capture

I had the perfect set up when reading this book; outside next to a pool, with the sun out and a nice big sunhat. That only thing better would be sitting on the beach.
I love this book, it was a great novella that was just as good as Ophelia London’s full length works. Making Waves was fun but it has the right mix of heartfelt, touching. At some points it was predictability, but with all the great romance, I was fine with it. The characters are very endearing and felt real. 5 out of 5 stars. One

Ophelia London. Need I say more? (Uh, yes? Okay, then…)

Fabulous second chance story. Breezed through it, and loved every page of it. Chase/Will and Justine are both wonderful to read. Love the heat—super mild, for those concerned—and the humour. It's comfortably predictable, which I find is often the case with London's works, but oh so charming and enjoyable especially with the Chellie cameo (no shirt-off coconot chopping, though, too bad).

London's fluffy yet flirty writing always satisfies. Hap

This was a cute story about how sometimes things aren't always as they seem & how everything has it's time. I really enjoyed the descriptive scenery & it made me wish I could teleport myself there. The relationship between Justine & Will was hot and felt very believable. Note that this is a PG 13 story [no sex] but it in my opinion helps the story progress better since they're getting to know each other personally instead of just physically. ...more
