Вселената винаги има план: 10-те златни правила за емоционална свобода

Rate this book

This is a book I can comfortably give to my mother. Matt has simplified his teachings into practical and common-sense steps that lead to a greater sense of harmony and love for oneself, others, and the world at large. The 10 Golden Rules are both simple but deep concepts and Matt has sprinklings of real-life experiences that draw you in and illustrate how they work to effect change in your life. The book is lovely and filled with a transmission of calming, heart centered energy. I believe those from any religious background will gain insight while reading or listening (as I did) to this book.

Really didn't like the writing style unfortunately.
There were some good nuggets in there but seemed to be overshadowed by the authers self-righteousness

Not my thing. Lots of word salad writing with zero data (only good feelings) to back it up. Also the author wants me to buy his other books.

One good thought, though still poorly written: "At our core, we are all such sensitive, heart-centered beings that the thought that anyone who blames us is unhappy can kind of feel like a form of blame unto itself. Such an acceptance is not actually a judgement--it's an awareness."

One sentence that made me think the author wanted me to join a death cult: "Whether it was my grandmother, my dad, or even my mom, I have helped each of my closest family members cross over into the afterlife due to inexplicable ability to be calm, centered, and open at the peak of emotional intensity."

I liked it a lot. I thought it was going to give the same advice as other books, but it actually gives different advice, which is very good.

This was such a random pick for me but it might be a new favourite. The impact that it has left on me is unexplainable.

I thought that this was an excellent book. It was insightful, concise and easy to read. It challenges spiritual truisms, yet it does so in a gentle manner. It moves through ten steps in letting go of the ego trap and trusting the Universe (or God) to unfold in a person's life, all without vilifying the ego. I found that just reading the words helped something within me to shift. It also gives the mind a change of perspective, and in so doing I felt that it rose above the average "how to" spiritual book. I find that it is hard to do this book justice by attempting to describe it, as it is something that needs to be experienced by the reader in his or her own way.

Read this book NOW

I absolute loved this book. It’s a quick read which is very misleading because it contains a lot of good thought provoking information. I found myself purposely reading only 1 chapter a day so that I could fully integrate what I learned into my life. If you want to change your life read this book NOW.

Powerful

Matt never disappoints and this book is another example. Leading me skillfully through his 10 steps of awareness lifted my understanding and emotions out of darkness and emotional distress right back to loving light! Thank You for a beautifully written guide. A must read for everyone!

Quick read. Lots of great takeaways and mantras. It didn’t all fully resonate, but I appreciated the overall message.

Felt like there was just too much righteousness with rainbows and unicorns. I was expecting a lot more from this book. Kind of disappointed.

The 10 golden rules of letting go to help you navigate the clearest, most heart-centered spiritual path:

1. No matter what, you have done nothing wrong
2. Anyone who blames you isn't happy
3. Adversity can be fast-tracked through thankfulness
4. Feeling better always helps everyone heal
5. Well-being is a signal that you are ready to embody your potential
6. The Universe always has a plan
7. While everything changes, it can only change you for the better
8. In order to be emotionally free, it's okay to be dislike
9. But keep it balanced with creative expression, because projecting anger will drain you of energy
10. Most of all, no matter what arises, no matter what comes and goes, it could only be the next part of ourselves to be loved, held, and adored, deeper than ever before, because love is your liberator.

Remarkably well written popular book on basic universal principles of compassion, love, forgiveness, gratitude, listening, meditation, and acceptance.

Each of the ten sections contains a story, anecdote, exercise, summary statement, and a mantra, followed by a distinctive "Myth Busting" segments

The Myth Busting segments, which not as clearly articulated as the rest of the book in several of the segments, were powerful criticisms of prevailing belief systems among spiritual circles. More valuably, they give critical distinctions on his main ideas that allow them to be grasped well enough to be deeply understood. They were fantastic.

The exercises are very short and mostly sweet, and the mantras usually nail the idea precisely.

It's a really well written book full of fresh distinctions and deep perspectives of fundamental spiritual principles.

The voice and personality of the writer really shines through the text too.

I think this is a very helpful lbook for everyone, not (as it might look on casual inspection) a beginner's book or pop book only. For example, Kahn's recontextualizion of meditation as listening is a radical insight.

I suppose this self help book was not for me at this moment. When I first picked up this book, I expected one of the items that the author will touch on is attachment towards human and objects, but instead it touches more on emotional attachment such as hatred, guilt and the longing of validation from others. Might be useful for someone who is longing to be free from their emotional prison.

Although I don’t resonate with most of content in the book, my biggest takeaway from the book is on dealing with other people’s anger, especially for those who are sensitive to the energies of others. I appreciate how the author recognise empaths and offers them with a solution to deal with the energies surrounding them.

This book met me at a perfect moment in time, exactly when I needed it, Matt Khan is a brilliant mind and simplified but expanded on 10 guidelines to carry yourself by. These rules are helping society grow to reach our highest potential in this lifetime. To live a love leading life and teaching us how to grow from places of hurt, replacing anger with creativity. Understanding that everything had to happen in order for you to be you today and knowing that the universe really always does have a plan for every individual.

Matt Khan, you have greatly impacted my growth along my spiritual path, and I will continue to re-read this book throughout the course of this lifetime.

This book is extremely good! It's not one of those 'think positive and you'll manifest a car!' type books. This one is more focused on personal growth and interpersonal relations, such as how to process anger, how to learn from challenging experiences, etc. I really liked it because it's very nuanced and discusses how it's still OK to dislike things even as a spiritual person - as in, you don't have to go around loving everything and everyone all the time. In fact, he makes the case that discernment is actually worthwhile. It's a great book! I listened to the audiobook and the author narrated it very well.

So at least I went into this book with a previous experience from kahn under my belt, so I knew that he was insane, like other readers have said he's more concerned with being right than helping people.
There is a little bit of useful information there and good intentions, but it's mostly there to prove to himself and to others that he's right.

It's also pretty weird that he.. disagrees with a lot of other well-founded and experienced practices that have been around for hundreds of years and dismisses them, even though fundamentally they're very similar.

This book was recommended to me by someone who is really into mindfulness and spirituality and who thought I would benefit from it in my grieving journey about my son. While I did not like the author's writing style and I had the feeling he was promoting his other books too much, I did find most of the "golden rules" to have a truth to them and useful in my own journey. Some of the more spiritual parts were too fluffy for my liking, but that is personal. There are some really great lessons in there that I have already started to apply. Worth a read. Maybe even one more, just as a reminder.

Love to always challenge myself to open my own perspective, because into living, flowing, manifesting and surrender there are lot of opinions and I love to meet and discuss all of them!
I save to my journey lot of insights on this book. 🙌🏽

This is a gentle, uplifting guide that teaches ten simple principles for trusting life’s timing and embracing self-compassion.
However, I am a little bit disappointed of his approach about people being themselves and not taking responsibilities for their actions. I agree that we need to be ourselves, but I believe that we are also responsible for what we put out there. My soul can only find peace when I forgive myself and I forgive others for their words and actions.

I just loved this book. I totally agree with 9 of 10 Golden Rules, besides one which is it's OK to dislike, but in order to be emotionally free. I think if we just focus on being emotionally free, and trying to find our inner peace, we won't have time to dislike someone or something. Peace should be our utmost purpose in life.

Love yourself

I am a fan of Matt's work and books. I loved, Whatever Arises, Love That. This book was a similar experience for me. I found myself laughing at times and tearing up at others. There is solace and wisdom on these pages. The prayers he includes are affirmative and calming. This book is a balm. It's a cool drink of water for the soul. Love yourself enough to read it.

Profound information presented in an easily accessible way. I’m walking away with some nuggets of new concepts and some practical tools to navigate human life. “It’s okay to dislike” chapter blew my mind. Another impactful one for me was around other people blaming me and how I might look at that differently.

I’ve bought this book without knowing it. My phone in my pocket unlocked and got it. When I saw it the title
Made me giggle. Nonetheless it’s been a beautiful read, one that talked about things I’ve been researching, but giving specific rules to go by. They might sound douchebaggy at a first glance, but if you read the whole thing, you’ll see that they’re not.
