Colour ME Happy

Rate this book
When I am sunny, colour me yellow. When I am funny, colour me pink… Small children will fall in love with the adorable kitten character as they turn the pages of this colourful, glittery book. As well as featuring a host of vibrant colours, the humorous illustrations explore a range of emotions with which young readers will be familiar. To top it all off, there`s even a beautiful sparkly rainbow finale!

Okay, so my review of this book might be largely swayed by the fact that there is GLITTER ON EVERY PAGE! I love glitter. Cute, simple story matching colours with emotions. Would be good for little kids for a rainbow or emotion storytime.

A great book which teaches children the different colours which we may see with regards to what we are wearing or different fur colours. Ideal for reception children to start somewhere with colours.

Lovely book. My toddler loves this one and requests it by name a lot; the illustrations are great, lots of detail and things to talk about.

This would have gotten 5 stars from me but it got docked one star for making a grievous error. One of the pages says something like, "When I'm jealous, colour me green."

First off, the expression is "green with envy." Secondly, the image is of a cat with a small ice cream cone looking at a monkey who has a larger ice cream cone- clearly demonstrating envy, not jealousy.
