I picked this up expecting it would help me improve my writing technically. However, it seemed more for beginners and just a refresher. There were interesting and helpful.

a good read. written in a friendly way. Not for advanced musicians, possibly for brushing up intermmediate knowledge or affirming things you know. Because of that I give it 4 stars.

Really a handy reference book more than a read, but full of very useful information in an accessible form.
